Side chicks are given a new meaning to life especially when you have a side chick like Chelsea Johnson. She goes beyond the call of duty with the most exotic sexual encounters along with a spiral emotional setting. This is one side chick you don’t want to cross, because she will do everything in her power to be number one. See how a side chick can go from number two to number one in this roller coaster book.
This has to be my ultimate BAD book. Bad in every way. The author commited a cardinal sin by literary standards.
Where do I begin. The grammar is substandard from the first paragraph lending shoddy sentence construction. The plot is unimaginative. Really Chelsea, Brandon and Vanessa are all over. There is no clear direction in terms of storyline. There are too many scenarios. It shows lack of direction from the author. The timelines are suspect. The sex scenes are just trash. I suspect that the author wanted to ride on "Fifty Shades" coattails but lacked the imagination.
I am surprised at his work because from his bio, he's won a couple of literary accolades.
Eish, I was just looking for a quick read to take my mind off my studying.
Did I mention that he didn't proofread his work. I found myself inserting commas, periods and semicolons just to make my mind follow the story by making the sentences easier to read.
Honey this book here was complete drama......I don't know how either of these women couldn't see through the lies he was feeding them. Then this fool had a secret that neither his wife or side chick knew about. Totally didn't see that coming for real. This book is a must read. Can't wait to read part 2.
This was definitely a page-turner! It was non-stop drama from beginning to end.
The reason I am giving the book 2 stars is because of all of the errors. It was ridiculous. A few examples of the errors are below:
Author used the word "obliviously" when it should have been "obviously" Author used the word "attending" when it should have been "extending" Author used the word "vision" when it should have been "envisioned" Author used the word "ethnic" when it should've been "ethic"
There were many more errors and I was so disappointed. I want to read the 2nd book, but I don't want to pay for a book if it is going to have that many errors.
I wasn't expecting the story to end the way that it did!! I can't wait to read part 2 to find out what happens next. I guess you can say the joke is on Vanessa lol
This is a book you reach for when you just need a quick fix of cheesy, poorly written drama.
This is about a man who cannot keep his genitals in his pants. He cheats on his wife which leads to a crazy woman entering his life and her becoming determined to do whatever is necessary for her to become the wife.
As crazy as this side chick is (which is saying a lot), as you read you start to see how she thinks the way she does. Personally, I had no sympathy whatsoever for the husband and felt like shaking his wife at home to stop being so blinded by love.
I reached for this mostly because I just needed a quick cheesy drama fix. I'm in between two other books currently that are on the more serious side of the fiction genre. With this book being just at 100 pages or so, it took me a fast couple of hours to finish.
The ending is what ultimately granted this review a 3 stars instead of anything lower. It was a plot twist that I sincerely did not see coming.
The grammar was very poor overall and it even seems as if the author did not take the time to proofread his work. Also, the scenes seemed to switch back and forth way too abruptly with no type of flow. This was a fun read, but I won't be reading part 2.
The score should really be a 1.5. The rating is low because of the lack of proofing from a grammatical standpoint that did not occur. The story It was over the top, unbelievable drama so much so that I was often confused as to what I was reading. It almost feels like the author was so focused on ramping up the crazy drama that little attention was paid to structure. Some points were glossed over or addressed in one or two sentences when they deserved more attention. I'll read the next one thanks to kindle unlimited.
I really enjoyed this book. Just when I thought I knew what was going to happen, I was totally thrown off guard when something different out of the blue happens. The end totally shocked me! I am totally looking forward to reading more from Marques Lewis.
Slow start but picked up in chapter two and I couldn't put in down until I finished it. It's a good urban thriller about obsession and adultery. I'm not sure about the end and thought since it came over a bit artificial and fixed however then again it was a complete surprise - sucker punch.
The main story is about an obsessed mistress goes a crazy and psycho on her man and plots to kill his wife. However in the end there is a big twist. At first I thought Brandon loved his wife but then it seemed he didn't. So that I didn't understand - his feelings swayed. However I've given it five stars because it was brilliant way to past the time, and I was thoroughly entertained. Marques Lewis is a talented storyteller, and I'll gladly read more of his work. I must add it was very short.
Another note is I read these books to be entertained so I'm not too bothered about the proofreading, grammar or typos, there are a few but not enough for me to put the book down.
This book was something else. There is only one word to describe Chelsea, and that word is CRAZY! That is the only way to describe her. Marques was being the typical man and got caught up in all her craziness. I felt sorry for his wife. I thought that I had things figured out until I got that surprise at the end of the story. Now I have to get part 2 to see what's going to happen next. Thank you Marques for leaving me hanging like that.
I enjoyed this book but the ending kind of three me for a loop and has me waiting for the next book.. Brandon was a mf if I ever read about or seen one.. That man was putting it down and had these poor women caught up in his web of lies.. I enjoyed all the drama but Chelsea is a certified nut job...
This was awful! There were so many editorial errors that it made it difficult to follow! The scenes lacked detail and rounded characters! I would not recommend this!

When I first picked up this book, I didn't think I would like it, but as I read on, I found myself totally intrigued and could not put it down. Chelsea was the true definition of crazy, and would stop at nothing to get a man. Hey obsession landed get in jail, and what happens next is…jaw dropping! I'm looking forwards to reading the next two books in this series.
This not a book, this author uses several plots, he can't seem to make up his mind what plot to use. He totally just stops writing and ends it with continued. I would never read anything by this author again.
This book is a great read and it grasped my attention from beginning until end. I really enjoyed it and it kept my attention from the start. The end was really good and I really did not see that coming. So I am excited to see what's in book two.
The title alone is enough to stop you in your tracks but the action will make you speed through the next pages. So much ratchetness so little pages. This book will have you entertained definitely. Brandon is so unpredictable. And Chelsea is just plumb shot out.
I was drawn to this book because of the title and seeing how so many woman today are being labeled this I wanted to know more about it from a man's perspective. This book was good from start to finish. I need to know more, I need to read part 2. Thank you Marques
This was a decent story but ended when things started getting good. I also had an issues with the typos. Can't believe the drama Brandon had going on in his life.
Typos and too wordy when describing intimate encounters, the best part was the ending, which was very abrupt....could have continued for a few more pages
