STEPBROTHER MASTER: I loved this one, really cute and everything just seemed to fit just right, nothing rubbed me the wrong way in which a lot of stepbrother romances tend to do. I was left with a huge smile at the end. Can't wait to see if Avery gets her own story with the other stepbrother Nixon who just returned home from serve.
HIS PLAYTHING: Same things here, everything just seemed to fit just right. Wasn't a fan of Pam but everything ended in just the right way.

Ford can be a bossy boy at times, "I dont think you understand, pet. Youre not effing leaving this gazebo without those panties covering that tight little p***y. I really enjoyed this book Ford was bossy, and Emma was sassy.

I really struggled with this one. I don't know if it was the writing or me but I just didn't click with it. Overall I liked the theory or the plot but I just struggled reading it

STEPBROTHER MASTER - REVIEW ~~~~~~~
I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this Stepbrother romance. This was the first book I have read by Ava Jackson and I will definitely be looking into her other books.
Ford's and Emma's parents meet and fall in love deciding to marry and make their two families one. This is Emma's mother's fourth marriage so she is used to the routine. But Emma notices right away there is something different this time. Her mom seems genuinely in love and committed to started a life with her new step-father. Emma is all for anyone who makes her mother this happy.
Ford on the other hand is not that happy with the union seeing his father marry a woman he barely knows is disturbing. Even more disturbing is the immediate attraction he has for his soon to be step-sister. He is not alone in his forbidden feelings, Emma can't help but wonder what it would feel like to be dominated by her step-brother.
This couple had great chemistry, the D/s scenes were well written and super hot.
I have read a few step-brother romances and they all seemed to follow the same pattern. Young people grow up to find they always were attracted to their step-siblings. As adults they decide to explore those feelings. In this story the author went a bit of a different way and I really liked it. For me there was a different twist. There was the forbidden and complicated fact that they were going to be step-siblings but really it didn't matter. The issues was really whether Ford and Emma really wanted to be together or was it the rush of the forbidden.
I could not put this book down and anxiously anticipated getting to find out Ford and Emma's HEA.

I didn't think this series could be hotter then Emma and Ford boy was I wrong.
Avery and Nixon were scorching from the beginning.
Again the author does a great job of telling a bit of a taboo / forbidden tale with lots of angst and loads of SEX!
Nixon is a Navy Seal who has never thought about settling down and finding a woman. He gets plenty of action when he wants it and he is married to his career.
Avery is a young girl getting ready to graduate from college and start her dream job in the fashion industry. She has no designs on settling down with any man.
In a strange arrangement set up by their parents Nixon and Avery become unwilling roommates. When they met at their parents ranch the sparks flew then but they ignored the attraction. Even though their relation is barely step-siblings. Nixon's father is married to Avery's ex-step-mother thought Emma and her mother still treat Avery like family.
Avery can't believe it when she sees her new roommate having sex on the dining room table in the apartment she is to call home for the next few months. This won't do at all. She immediately tells him no sex in the apartment with random women. Nixon is not having this if he is going to be c*ck blocked by her then Avery will have to help him with his sexual needs instead.
Nixon can't believe he has to babysit his twice removed step-sister especially since he can't stop thinking about getting her under him. She tries to resist his advances but Nixon's charms are pretty tough to ignore as well as his tight butt and washboard abs.
I really had fun reading this book. Nixon and Avery were a great couple their romance a bit of a whirlwind but I loved it.

F#ck Forbidden is a two book box set and each of the stories have a forbidden love theme. I really enjoyed both books, but my favourite was definitely Stepbrother Master. Here are my reviews for both books.
Stepbrother Master - 5 stars
Stepbrother Master is a fabulous easy read that drew me in right from the first page. The writing style seemed natural and the story flowed well. I don't read many stepbrother romances as I find them a bit boring and cheesy, but this one was far from boring. The BDSM theme gave the story an extra dimension which resulted in some very steamy scenes. The BDSM itself is fairly light and is done well, so please don't let it put you off trying this book if you are new to this sub-genre.
Emma is not exactly enthusiastic about having to spend the summer with her Mom and her latest husband on his ranch. And Ford definitely isn't enthusiastic about meeting his new stepsister! He thinks his father in making a mistake in marrying so quickly and thinks his new stepmother must be some kind of gold digger - so he doesn't make Emma very welcome when she arrives. Ford is a sexy, brooding cowboy who Emma is immediately attracted to, but he is her new stepbrother so nothing can happen between them. When Emma accidentally walks on a scene between Ford and a submissive she is shocked, but she soon becomes curious and dreams of being in the submissive's place.
Emma is a great character, I really liked her and could imagine being friends with her in real life. She is strong but also a little naïve and innocent, and this combination really appealed to me. Ford is oh so hot! Cowboys really do it for me - especially when they are as good with ropes as Ford is! The chemistry between them is blisteringly hot, it will catch your e-reader on fire.
This is a great book, I really enjoyed it so Stepbrother Master receives five out of five stars.

His Plaything is a fun, sexy and deliciously dirty easy read. It's a novella and at times it felt a little rushed, but it didn't really detract from my enjoyment. The hero is a dirty talking, ridiculously sexy Navy SEAL - do you need any other reason to read this book?! There is a lot of hot sex in this book, but it still manages to be a fairly sweet story with plenty of emotion.
Nixon is home on leave and isn't happy when he finds out that his father has arranged for him to have a new roommate. All he wants to do on his break from duty is relax and enjoy himself with a willing woman - and a roommate will seriously cramp his style. Avery has been studying in London, but is now back to finish off her fashion degree. She finds Nixon to be cocky and annoying - but also really hot. Things develop between them fairly quickly, and I really enjoyed how their relationship progresses.
This is a nice straightforward read that will be sure to melt your panties. Four stars.

Emma is happy that her mother finally found the one, what she isn't excited about is being guilt tripped into spending the summer with her new family. When she meets Ford things seem to be looking up until she finds out he's her step brother. To make matters worse she can't stop the desire she feels for him and that leads her down a steamy path, but it's also a path she wants to avoid. She is at conflict with herself about what to do in the situation, but is she willing to sacrifice the passion between them?
Ford didn't want Emma to invade his domain, the idea of her ticked him off and the reality was even worse. How can he be expected to control his urges with a woman who looks like her flaunting around and throwing sassy comments at him? He wants her and he will have her.
This was a fun book to read and it wasn't as dramatic as I thought it would be. The problem didn't draw on forever, they found an easy solution. It didn't leave readers in suspense for too long waiting to see if the characters were going to get a happy ending. It was straight forward and to the point. There were lots of cute and sexy scenes and they have a wonderful group of people that surround them. I really enjoyed the mischief they got into during their parents wedding.

The last thing she needs is to get attached to a man whore but her resolve melts at his sweet words and she begins to wonder if she misjudged him. Right when she starts to give in a dose of reality comes crashing back and Nixon and Avery might not survive the battle.
Nixon doesn't need or want a woman moving in with him, but he has no choice since his father is basically forcing him to let Avery in. The minute she walks through the door they clash but he wants her and soon makes it his goal to have her. He thought being fuck buddies was okay until someone steps in and shows him that he has no official claim on Avery. Now it's time for Nixon to decide if he wants to let go of his no strings relationship and finally make it exclusive.
This was just as cute as the first book in the series. It's so funny to see how similar the family members are. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree and all that. Avery is trying to fight her attraction but she can't help but be captivated by the gorgeous man. Nixon is the guy who is just realizing a life he could have if he let her in. I feel like even though the characters were adults they grew a lot as the story progressed.
I really loved the end because the entire family got together and you get to see how strong they are even if others would consider their family dysfunctional. They all love each other and they aren't going to let what others think get in the way of their happiness.

I was skeptical going into this thinking it was just another step brother romance, but the characters were older, more mature and much more developed. Emma arrives out at the ranch of her mums new 'soon to be husband'and seeing the Cowboys working makes it look like it could be a fun summer ahead. But when the Cowboy she was just checking out turns out to be her new stepbrother, it keeping puts a halt to whatever she thinks could happen. But when the folks are away for their honeymoon the two will play.
The prologue had me excited and looking forward to a twist of BDSM, he calls himself a Dom, but he was soft, there was limited scenes and what there was it was light weight and she 'topped him from the bottom'
The ending kind of threw me as we jumped so far in time, but overall a quick simple read.
The second half of this boxset is the other brother, we met him in the last scene of book 1. Nixon is a SEAL and home for a break, when dad calls and says he will have a house guest for a semester, Nixon doesn’t say no.
Avery is Emma’s stepsister from her mums second marriage, when her dad couldn’t afford to pay both tuition and accommodation, her ex-step mum steps in.
I found this book to be rather annoying and constantly played the whole your my stepbrother card THEY WERNT RELATED not even through marriage, so think it was played out wrong, it became repetitive.

I was skeptical going into this thinking it was just another step brother romance, but the characters were older, more mature and much more developed. Emma arrives out at the ranch of her mums new 'soon to be husband'and seeing the Cowboys working makes it look like it could be a fun summer ahead. But when the Cowboy she was just checking out turns out to be her new stepbrother, it keeping puts a halt to whatever she thinks could happen. But when the folks are away for their honeymoon the two will play.
The prologue had me excited and looking forward to a twist of BDSM, he calls himself a Dom, but he was soft, there was limited scenes and what there was it was light weight and she 'topped him from the bottom'
The ending kind of threw me as we jumped so far in time, but overall a quick simple read.

F#ck Forbidden is the first book I have read by this author, I was gifted a copy to read for Gemma Reads Too Much.
This book is in fact 2 novellas banded up as a full length novel boxset, both stories are of the forbidden Stepbrother genre.
The first story Stepbrother Master is fairly kinky the male lead Ford is a Dom with a thing for ropes and all things BDSM.
What follows is a saucy little nugget of sexy time’s fun, Emma and Ford are basically shagging from day one and it quickly escalates from kinky sex to love.
The Dom/sub elements were pretty hot and on the mild side of kink, so they’re gonna get you hot on bothered but not offend anyone lol.
The second story is His Plaything and is the story of Ford’s brother and Emma’s stepsister from her mother’s previous marriage.
This story doesn’t have the Dom/sub kink factor but still has some hot sex.
I’m not sure the title for this is the right way round because it seemed to me he became Her Plaything lol.
Honestly I’m really trying to get into the forbidden love genre but the step sibling thing just doesn’t feel that taboo no matter how it’s wrapped up.
These two stories both have very similar plot structures so really once you read the first story the second is kind of predictable.
This box set is great ‘sweet dreams’ reading materials and sexy enough to set you in a good mood before bedtime.
Apparently stepbrothers are just not taboo enough and get 3 stars from me.

This book is a easy 4 stars from me. Its also not for anyone who is slightly prudish

Stepbrother Master:
Emma is less than thrilled that she has to spend the whole summer on a ranch with her mum and her new stepdad and lets not forgetting her new stepbrother who she had never met but expected but expected the worse when she meets Ford. In return Ford isn't to happy either as he believes his dad has rushed into this marriage with this woman who he considers to be nothing more than a gold digger.
What Emma doesn't expect is Ford to be is a red hot cowboy who is very handy with his rope work. One night Emma stumbles across a scene between Ford and his latest submissive and as much as she wants to turn away but founds herself drawn in and starts thinking what it would be like if Ford was her submissive and him her master. Ford is absolutely livid that Emma has disturbed his scene.
Whilst their parents are away on their honeymoon things heat up between Emma and Ford despite the fact they both know its wrong.
His Plaything:
This is a dirty easy read novella. Nixon is a hot sexy seal who is on leave and not happy when he finds out that his dad has arranged for him to have a new room mate. Step forward Nixon's new room mate student very. Avery finds Nixon not only very annoying and cocky but their is attraction soon heats up.
This was a nice easy read

Stepbrother Master
Emma recently graduated from Stanford she is excited to start her new life in the fall. She has to spend her summer in Montana at a ranch. Emma is not jumping for joy lets just say that. Emma has been drooling over her stepbrother Ford. She didn't even know who he was at first. They fought the attraction because of their parents upcoming wedding. Even after it was official they fell hard for one another.
This is the third book that I have read that involves a cowboy. Also, my second of a Cowboy/Dom characteristics.I liked the combination nonetheless. The setting you wouldn't expect that from a cowboy. Yes, the taboo element was what drew me to this book. Author Ava Jackson writes wonderful taboo stories that always has me coming back.

Holy Hotness!!! The two books in this box set were amazing. Not your typical stepbrother romance but damn good.
