The Blake Boys Book Eleven

The passion that started it all. The love that lasted a lifetime.

The Twelve Horseshoes Ranch is getting ready for a joyous event, the double wedding of sons Tyler and Channing to their beautiful fiancées Michelle and Cassidy. John Jacob and Teri-Lyn are determined to make it an affair to remember.

As the Blakes prepare for the double wedding, John Jacob and Teri-Lyn reminisce about how they fell in love. Turns out it wasn’t always a smooth ride for the handsome, brooding, driven cowboy who was out to right a wrong done to his family. And things were certainly not easy for the beautiful and strong-willed redhead who knew exactly what she wanted out of life, and it certainly wasn’t a man who couldn’t stay put.

As the entire family gathers for activities and fun the week of the wedding, secrets are revealed and past history comes to light. The Blakes have a few things to contend with for the big day, but they do it the only way they know how—as a family.

I absolutely love this book!

Who would've thought that Teri and John will have there own story.... well somewhat of their own story and it's so cute. I love the fact that there some scenes of their past. Who would've thought how much John sons are very much like him.

I feel like one of my most favorite scenes in this book is when John and Teri are telling the boys that they will have another sibling on the way.
This scene is too adorable because is a new look at the men that we know. Their reactions is funny just like there reaction to the fact that they would like girls. lol. Something that they could not understand at that age since they thought that girl were nasty. lol

Another one of my most favorite scenes is when they have the paint ball fight. I wish Rhonda Laurel stayed on this scene a little longer and wrote about it. I would love to have read more about that. Especially when John had Sam, Cassidy and Summer on his team. who could be killer on the same team.

What a nice background story

It was great to read about John Jacob and Teri-Lynn's early years. Even their children were able to hear about the old family feud. I wondered what that was about and now we know. I love reading about the family and the love they have for each other dispute all of the ups and downs of life.

This was a nice easy read that introduced the reader to more family friends and their history with the family. My heart went out to Cassidy with her family. I wanted to shake some sense into her mother. No matter how much a child seems to be independent, they still need the security in knowing their family is there for them.

Meet the Blakes

I really enjoyed this book. I think it was too short though. I can't wait for my power couple book release. I love Seth and Morgan, can't wait to see what's going on with them. Great read Rhonda

Great story on the Blake family origins. The family just keeps growing and growing and Momma Teri-Lyn is the match maker from...well depending on how you ask, let's just say she truly is heaven sent as she continues to love on her grandbabbies, daughters in-law, sons, and hubby John Jacob.
