The first time I heard about Nathaniel Kline I thought he sounded like a total asshole – some arrogant playboy billionaire, crazy enough to think that just because he’s already made his fortune, he has what it takes to become a MMA cage fighter, too ...
But the moment I saw his picture, my whole world changed.
You see, this isn’t just any damn guy. This is Nate – the boy knew back when I was a shy awkward teen, the very same boy I shared my first gay kiss with, the boy I thought I’d lost forever ...
And now I’ve found him, there’s no way in hell I’ll let him go again. I don’t care if he claims to be straight these days. I just know he’s hiding the truth.
I only hope I have what it takes to make him change his mind, and come face to face with who he really is ...
WARNING : This book is sweaty, sexy and dirty as hell. If you’re looking for a hot, quick read about two horny hunks who both want to come out on top , then you’ve come to the right place!
Johnny at first seems like a confident out gay man. He meets the homophobic, nasty Nate, who Johnny kissed as a teen. It devolves from there as Johnny turns into a bottom boy for Nate, who immediately confesses his gayness. No substance, little sense.
I had never heard of Jackson Blake before but decided to take a chance on this novel. Who's ever heard of a gay billionaire-turned-cage-fighter?Well... I'm glad I checked it out! I'll be keeping an eye out for more from this author. I only wish this one could have been a tiny bit longer.
Ok, 2.5* rating for me. This is a story about 2 men who met as teenagers then fate brings them back together as adults. Johnny knew from early on he was gay and never hid his sexuality...however Nate aka "Nathaniel" was living his life as a straight billionaire turned MMA fighter.
At their first encounter, Nate doesn't seem to remember Johnny, however Johnny absolutely remembers "his" Nate. However when Johnny receives mix singles and makes his advance towards Nate, he turns hateful and down right nasty. However that doesn't phase Johnny and he tolerates his behavior. Shortly, the two work out their issues, a mutual attraction is born, and bam they have sex and "I Love You's are shared all around.
Quick read, but just didn't work for me.

I really couldn't relate to these characters, especially Johnny. he kisses a boy when he's 15, sees him again 12 years later and is willing to be treated like crap because he had this one kiss.
then after meeting a couple of times a man who is 'straight' is willing to come out publicly to the world and declares his love.
the book had no build-up and came to an end too quickly
First off the MMA fighter Nate is a coward why leave a guy on the beach why not tell him to run when you do. I didn't like him. Then or after with his machismo bull crap. The ending Was a joke and not very believed. Good for a kindle unlimited find only.
The story was a bit unreal. Nate is training to be an MMA fighter but doesn't watch his diet and consumes alcohol before a fight....uuugghh don't think so. The story was short but was missing a few elements.
