John and Dave.

FINALLY :'33

CUTE

I am a little sad because nobody remembers a shit about this...this...this epic meeting that I had been waiting since Act 1 but mehh wut ken I do.
There where a lot of feels here :33 (my red and pale ships r back!!) For example...Dirk and Dave...GOD I WANNA SEE THAT.
And that JohnDave part...when Dave was crying and John got into the room and...oh gosh that part :'D I was like asdfgjfjdjs
And Jakeeeyyyyyy!!! His feelings about Dirk are killing me! HE IS FINALLY REALIZING THAT HI REALLY LOVES HIM :33
And what about Kanaya being a mommy with Karkitty...oh Gog...I missed their friendship so bad :(
I really enjoyed this act (and also I laughed as hell) and I need to keep reading cuz' Andrew Hussie said that by the end of December...HOMESTUCK WAS GONNA BE FINALLY OVER D:

I quite liked this, both in presentation and content. I think some of my favorite conversations were here. I love the way John talks about his friends and I really like when him and Roxy met. I liked the special stardust stuff, but i really really want Dirk and Dave to meet dude. that bit kinda killed me. anyway homosuck pt 2 time >:[

genuinely so incredibly wonderful. the way that this act engages with the very nature of the story device -- with the stardust caliborn poured into the game cartridge physically impacting the narrative, and john, who's newfound extra-narrative abilities in conjunction with his "windy thing" who is able to physically manipulate the glitch stardust ... !!! awesome. the panels consistently splitting OUTSIDE of the previously established panel space is always something i adore. i wonder if that occurs because of the cartridge vs the disc unlocking new narrative abilities?

in terms of character interactions, i ADORE dave in this. he is so funny! and tragic! he and karkat impacting each other so strongly is hilarious. mixed on roxy immediately becoming obsessed w john but thats also just because i dont like it when a major aspect of character personalities is being obsessed with the opposite gender. shes just so much cooler than that!

dirk is sweet. love brain ghost dirk. arquius kind of makes me uncomfortable at this point but im mostly just glad that hes happy. idk.

grimbark jade ... idk! interesting character but im kind of annoyed by the existence of HIC in this act because i feel like its almost an unnecessary complication and i dont know if her predicting jane and jades existence SO FAR OUT IN THE FUTURE makes much sense but i will have to ruminate on this one.

Lots of great drama here with the B2 Kids meeting our Alpha group for the first time (well aside from Dirk and Dave really intereacting with anyone). John's new wind time powers allow him to clean up glitches, and change canon storyline so it should be interesting to see how that is used. Also pirate troll treasure hunting, with John and Vriska having a big falling out. Oh and remember that ring Vriska did not want? Well it's important shit now.
