Fight For You

Rate this book
Warning: A dark, sexy, boundary-pushing read featuring a damaged man who will do whatever it takes to avenge his girl. (Please read entire description before purchase.)

They destroyed the woman I love. Now I'm going to make them wish they had never been born.

The frat boys who hurt Sam will pay the price for what they did. And the price is everything. I will have their pain, their suffering, and then their lives. I am not the man I was last summer; I'm a stone cold bastard with a lump of ice where my heart used to be.

They drove Sam away from me and now there is nothing left to lose. And then I see her...walking through the airport in Costa Rica.

It's Sam. She's alive and here for the same reason I am--to take vengeance.

It doesn't take long to figure out we're as perfect together as we've always been. Now we just have to decide--carry through with our dark plans, or get out before it's too late.

READER ALERT: This is the second half of Danny and Sam's story and should be read after Run With Me. Fight for You is a complete novel of 56,000 words that contains adult themes, violence, murder, and possible triggers for sexual assault victims.

(PLEASE READ: Fight For You was previously published as One Beautiful Revenge by J. Evans. It has been rereleased with a title and cover that more accurately reflect the twisted, dark, romantic thrill ride on the page.)

Fight For You (AKA most recently as Savage Hearts) by Lili Valente) is the second and concluding book in her Rebel Hearts series. This is the story of Danny and Samantha. We first met Danny in the To The Bone series as Caitlin's younger brother. You do not have to read the previous series to thoroughly enjoy Danny & Sam's story.

Picking up from the cliffhanger ending in book one, Run With Me (AKA most recently Rebel Hearts), Danny and Sam find themselves separated. A lot has happened in the time they have been apart - they have both had their own journey of recovery from the secrets Sam was hiding. Their journey, unexpectedly, finds them both in the same small Costa Rican town in search of revenge. Sam wants it done and has no plans beyond that, but Danny wants it done and then wants to move forward, together, never having to look back. When these two put their minds to it, anything is possible but will their souls be able to recover from their actions? Loved it! Enjoy!

Absolute Perfection!

I could not have asked for a better series to tell Danny and Sam's story. Their's isn't a fairy tale romance, it is filled with dark, dirty secrets, lies and deception and pain and heartbreak. But through it all Danny and Sam persevere and grow stronger. The bond that exists between them two of them cannot be broken by man or deed and that is shown time and time again throughout their journey.

I fell in love with these characters long before I realized it was happening and it brought happy tears to my eyes to see the conclusion of their story play out the way it did.
