Isaac Anschau walked away from his family and their fortune to peruse his dreams of being a rock star. His success in the United States has made him a rock legend but the demons he left in Australian are starting to catch up with him. Isaac has always known what he wanted and has never been afraid to go after what he wants, so when Kennedy accidentally showed up in his massage room it didn’t take long for him to see that she was everything he had been looking for.
Kennedy walked into a room she knew she shouldn’t but did it out of habit. What she found was more than she bargained for and just when you think she has enough sense to quietly walk out, her mischievous side comes out of her, and her first introduction to Isaac happens. Of course most people don’t go into rooms where there is a naked man waiting for his masseur and your wearing nothing more than a robe but for Kennedy, this is just something she couldn’t stop. It was like fate was pulling them together. The sizzle in the room didn’t go unnoticed by either of them but this is definitely not a way to meet a guy. I do have to say the “official” meeting between the two was way more fun than the little prank in the massage room.
Isaac is a guy who Kennedy can’t seem to get away from and for some reason she really doesn’t want to. Finding the pull between them more than she can handle, Kennedy calls on her big brother, who also happens to be a famous rock star himself to get the rundown on Isaac. What she did get was way more than she thought. Isaac is a Dom, a rigger to be exact but Kennedy is adamant that she is not a sub. Too bad, every time these two are together she unconsciously submits to him. No matter how many times Isaac re-assure her, the thought of giving up control totally freaks her out.
When Isaac finally gets a chance to show her what he does and how it can be so much more than powerful than she ever thought. The chemistry between them is undeniable when they are in a room together. Add a little bit of BDSM into the mix and its scorching hot all around them. The connection is so strong that it pulled me in and I had a hard time putting the book down.
Ella did an amazing job with Isaac and Kennedy’s story. She knew just when to draw her readers in and how to hook them. Isaac and Kennedy’s characters had a connection that was irresistibly fun and piping hot all at the same time. This was my first time reading one of Ella’s novels but she has me coming back for more.

This story is BDSM at it's finest. Ella Sheridan is in a class of her own with this genre.
Jane Jacobs has lusted over her BFF's brother Vincent O'Connell for years, but it was not meant to be. Vincent made a decision 8 years ago that hurt them both deeply, but he felt it was the right thing to do at the time. She steps out of her comfort zone to come face to face with her inner desires, to be a Sub to a Dom. She seeks help from her friend Kennedy to hook her up with a Dom who can show her the "ropes" of the BDSM lifestyle. Kennedy convinces her brother Vincent to take on the task. It does not take too much to convince him as Vincent has always craved Jane and to be her Dom would be a dream come true for him.
But he insists he wears a mask so as not to let Jane know his true identity. He is afraid that if she knew who really was behind the mask, it would ruin everything. This is my first Ella Sheridan book and...it is what it is.
Super short and simple. Zero depth. I mean, it's not poorly written its just don't go into it thinking it's anything other than a few "scenes" held together by a kind of sketchy plot.
There are three characters. Jane, who wants to explore her sub-side, Kennedy her best friend who she asks to set her up with a Dom because Kennedy works in Vegas so obviously she knows one, or something like that, and Vincent, Kennedy's older brother, who she asks to, you know, help her friend out.
The level of Kennedy and Vincent's comfort in chatting about their sex lives is a bit eww. At one point he notes that, Jane wearing his sister's t-shirt, it stretched across her breasts in a way he never noticed when his sister wore it...um, well, good.
Anyway, again, not bad just not like good.
I'll probably read another if I find it at the library cuz it's super short and I'm falling behind on my reading goal for the year. So, try it for yourself and see what you think.

Ok so I was expecting a 50 Shades rip off, which this is thankfully not. Book stays fairly true to the D/s lifestyle emphasizing safe, sane and consensual play. Well done D/s scenes if a little more vanilla than I expected. Supposed to be the woman's first foray into the D/s lifestyle, but I expected the Dom to push her boundaries.
I also would expect at this level of play, the contract agreement usually covers condom usage. Most people that I know in the D/s lifestyle are longtime companions or part of a steady group of playmates so condom use is not required. With a new playmate perhaps condom usage was prudent, but since this was with a family friend, I would imagine the couple would opt to forgo the prophylactic. Safe sex portrayal is all and good, but this is supposed to be fantasy, and in my fantasy condom use is not required as STDs do not exist.

I love that Jane takes control of what she wants and makes it happen. Although she is insecure about certain things, she has a backbone and knows when to stand up for herself and say what she wants.
Vincent has realised he doesn’t want anyone else to help Jane explore her sexual fantasies. I love that he considers her feelings and allows her to feel safe.
Super short erotic novel, for only being a hundred pages or so, you get an insight into the characters past and their personalities.

This had all it needed for a short read and I liked the main characters. I liked how, because it was shorter than a novel, it focused almost entirely on them which made the end make sense. I will note, the one scene with the sister, in the middle of the book, threw me out of the story a bit. I get why it was there, but so much had been focused on the two main characters having that happen kinda threw me off. But I liked it. Will hopefully read others in the series as I get through the gazillion other books on my TBR. :D

Very steamy!
I enjoyed this, my first story by the author. The explanation of the kink lifestyle is pretty accurate. It would have been perfect if not for continuing to refer to BDSM as not normal. If you want people to accept the exploration of kink, then you cannot call it abnormal.

Short but oh so sweet…

You can't get away from true love.
He is 10 years her senior, it may have made a difference between 18 and 28, , but little girls grow up. It was out of their control from the beginning.

This was a wonderful book all about getting in touch with with you true feelings and that's just what Jane and Vincent did and discover that they were meant to be together,I enjoyed this book.

Great book, Ella handled the journey from a submissive thinking she/he will get satisfaction from submission through to the courage it takes to meet a stranger in a hotel in a strange city. Thankfully Jane’s courage for taking a big leap into the unknown was rewarded.

It’s different
It’s refreshing to see a good story. The characters are unique and funny. Both the hero and the heroine could use a little more depth, but aside from that I like it.

I enjoyed this story. The description of the sex scenes were spot on. Characters could have a bit more depth, but overall, they were fine for the storyline. I'm not into BDSM, but as I read, this was pretty hot!!!

I thought this was a really intense book with details of how the dominant submissive relationship works. I loved how both Vincent and Jane realized they were meant for each other after they had not seen each other for several years.
