Black Women Scorned: A Sister's Struggle:

Rate this book
The day finally came that I could bring my baby girl home. It was a blessing how much my little girl smiled, in spite of what her stupid ass father had done to her. I thought that I’d lost my daughter. It still pissed me off that he could do this to his own flesh and blood because a bitch didn’t want you his ass; the bastard shot his own kid.
To make shit worse, I had to move back into the house with my mom and sister. Not that I wanted to, but I had nowhere else to go. There was no damn way that I could go back to the house where he shot my baby.
“Tiff, we are home,” I yelled out carrying Kia into the room to lay her in her crib.
“Sis, how are you doing? Mom, told me to tell you that she will be home later on tonight.”
“I don’t care when she gets home. I don’t have anything to say to her ass.”
“She’s still your mother.”
“Tiffany, open your eyes. She was screwing my baby father. Shawn shot my daughter; your niece, because your mother quit screwing him. Right now, I don’t care if she is my mother. I don’t have shit to say to her,” I snapped as she kissed me on the head.
“Alicia, I love you. But baby girl, you have to learn how to forgive. No one in this world is perfect. I can’t imagine the hurt that you feel, but baby, you need to try. Think about it, okay?” She turned and walked out of the room.
After listening to my sister, I thought about everything she said. Truth was, I knew that I couldn’t sit there and forgive my mom, hell, I couldn’t forgive either of them.

Decent

It was a okay story. It had the potential to be better. However history repeated itself when it came to the hardships that Lisa three daughter's Jasmine, Tiffany, and Alicia faced with the men in their life. As a mother Lisa did the unthinkable to Alicia that no mother should have thought about doing to their child. Alicia was dealing with the betrayal from her mother and the betrayal from what Shawn had done to their daughter. Tiffany didn't know what to do about her relationship with Antonio. She kept trying to fix something that was broken. Jasmine basically had five kid's because her husband was a lazy trifling bum. His extracurricular activities allow something tragic to happen that was unforgivable
