(Zero spoiler review) 3.5/5 Of the hundreds and hundreds of books I've reviewed on this site, I don't think I've come across a single one of them with a score as low as this. Sure, you always run the risk of a low score when the number of reviews it has received is quite low, but still. There is no way this book deserves to have the lowest score I've ever seen on this site. It's far from perfect, but it's far from a complete and utter failure either. You could certainly pick at various aspects of the writing and art. And whilst the narrative can be a tad vague at times, and the sequential component of the art is a bit of a miss, I still found myself drawn to this one. There was a maturity in the execution on both fronts, making it a rather endearing little tale, more than the sum of its parts. The final arc going from colour to black and white was unfortunate, but overall, a solid, if unspectacular read, all things considered. 3.5/5
Pretty bad. It seems like 90% of Alien comics are complete garbage. Strange, as it has SO much potential and a fantastic creature. The artwork here was ok, but the use of colour was horrible. Made the whole thing look garish. Also, the end is missing, so yet another thing that pulls this down. Not that big a deal though, I don't care what happens to any character in this anyway...
