A new series of short stories in HM Ward's Sexy Ferro World
When billionaire Sean Ferro crosses my path it's my job to destroy him. His crimes are horrific and there's no way I'm letting him walk away from them. Whether he wins or loses in court is irrelevant. I'll destroy any chance he has at a happy life when this is over, whether he lands in a jail cell or not.
The arrogant bastard is more beautiful than I thought. He sits there, day after day, closed off and quiet. Dark hair pushed out of his face, and those blue eyes staring into space, unseeing.
I assist the prosecution and twist his silence into apathy, steadily twisting the image of a broken man into a disturbed monster. I destroy him completely well before the end of the trial. Society hates him. And so do I. But one night will change everything. One chance encounter shows me my mistake. This isn't something I cant change, so I offer the only thing I know he needs--me.
H.M. Ward continues to reign as a NEW YORK TIMES bestselling author who surpassed more than 23 million books sold, placing her among the literary titans. Ward has been featured in articles in the NEW YORK TIMES, FORBES, and USA TODAY to name a few.
Can I say book hangover? HM Ward has a way of weaving us in and out of her characters feelings and emotions. If you have read any of the Arrangement series, this set is a must to see why Sean is the way he is. Sean learns what he needs and craves to set him free from his pain. A chance encounter with Paige, the woman that painted him as a monster will change is life forever. This is a must read. This series was a real eye opener to who Sean was and how he got to where he is now. Thank you Holly! another Awesome book
I'm done with HM Ward and the Ferro family. I figured with this one just being 3 books that she couldn't mess it up but honestly I don't see the point to any of these three, we didn't learn anything new about Sean that we didn't already know about from The Arrangement. I don't even care enough to read any of the other Arrangement ones that are due out. That story should have ended many books ago but she just keeps dragging it on with so much filler and nonsense.
A few thoughts as I finished MANWHORE #3. Intense, honest, book hungover to say the least come to mind. HM Ward manages in three short stories to bring a lot to Sean’s backstory. There are only a few authors who have really thrown me when reading their series, and HM Ward is the best out there! MANWHORE #3 (and really MANWHORE #1 and #2 combined) was so good that I haven’t been able to pick up anything else. I seriously ate these books up. I loved that I wanted to and had to finish this book. MANWHORE #3 floored me. Where MANWHORE #2 took me to one protagonist’s edge, MANWHORE #3 took me to the edge and brought me back without leaving us completely hopeless. Great stories evoke feelings, whether they are dark or light or in between and she did it all, which I absolutely love. This series will want you go out and pick up up all the rest of the Ferro storyline books. Absolutely perfect!!
Manwhore 3 delivers an epic ending to the fascinating prequel of Paige & Sean's story! The moment Paige dominates and exposes Sean's vulnerabilities, she knows it's only a matter of time before Sean turns the tables on her. The thought both exhilarates and terrifies her simply because she knows he's holds the power to break her. But using the word "break" to describe what Sean does to Paige is a complete understatement! When Sean pushes Paige beyond her comfort zone, she's forced to deal with her past head on, instead of trying to escape it. The experience leaves them both in an odd state of satisfaction.
I'm stunned beyond belief at the emotions this 3rd volume evoked! I swear, my moral compass is useless when it comes to Sean Ferro. Somehow, he seems to break right though the barriers and forces you to see the light in all of his dark. H.M. Wards depiction of Sean is simply amazing!
"There's nothing to think about. It's an instinct. Act on it. Do it !" And so the challenge began.. What a gripping insight to what made Sean the man he is. I finally found empathy and understanding for everything Sean has gone through. I was so touched by Paige and her past. She has had a hard life as well and has always considered herself a monster. She was no such thing, just a victim of an unfortunate & cruel life changing event. I have to say, I'm glad these two found each other because they needed someone to understand them both. I also believe Paige absolutely kept Sean from being a monster :) Thank you HM Ward for doing a wonderful Sean beginning with great justice..
From beginning to end this was awesome! The intensity was off the ricketer scale. As hot and intense as it got, it also had moments of sincerity and understanding. You get to see how two people totally f'ed up can come together face their demons, then go about their own ways
I have to admit if this is ever a show or movie I can wait to see what the neck wear looks like
This is super hot - Paige is on the prosecution team trying Sean for his wife’s murder. When Sean and Paige run into each other things heat up. And they discover that things aren’t always black and white.
Paige and Sean are both running/hiding from horrible incidents in their past. Will dangling the other over the edge help them to back away from their own cliff and begin to heal??
At the conclusion of this series I'm convinced the title is more of an oxymoron than a description of the version of Sean we see. I went into this series thinking I would not see any type of emotions from Sean, only someone who used women for his own pleasure and not caring about them or their feelings at all. I got the total opposite. The story is about a man and a woman who find if they push each other out of their comfort zone they not only find peace in themselves, but they help the other one find peace as well.
This series of short stories helps give us a little more insight into the man Sean is with Avery in the Arrangement series. I found so many ah-ha moments, and so many "I knew it" moments as well in this series. I now see Sean in a completely different light. Right after finishing reading, I felt myself wanting more of Paige's story. What happens? Does she get her HEA? Is she able to move on? Then I remembered the saying that people come into our lives for a particular reason and season. Paige and Sean found their reason and can now move on.
Well done Ms. Ward. I was absolutely blown away at the first sentence. You have completely changed my views on the Arrangement series that I have been reading for over a year now! I now see Sean as more than the control freak who shows very little emotion, he is a broken man trying to protect himself and find peace. No other word than amazing!!!
Sean Ferro. Sigh I swear I knew this story was going to be a big ball of crap because beautiful broody Sean is now scary throw you in a box and throw away the key until you’re about to pass out Sean. Thank you so much for that Paige who is now permanently on my poo poo list.
So Paige discovered some dark stuff in the club with Sean while trying to “help him” work out his demons or something. Well at first Sean doesn’t want to take that dark road to subjecting your subs to their worst possible fear, but as the court case went to a close Sean had to do something to get rid of the pain inside him.
Seriously Paige you suck so my butt. Why couldn’t you keep your emotional problems to yourself! Ughola so sad. I mean I know Avery loves Sean and that deep deeo deeeeeeeep inside that sexy body that comes across as unfeeling has a tiny warm teddy bear somewhere in there, but for real we all know how long and hard a journey it is for Sean or Avery to find that lovely bear. Thanks for nothing Paige you suck.
Anyway, Manwhore was a great short little bunch trilogy of novellas that go over how Sean Ferro sexy pantie dropper we read about in The Arrangement series became the “monster” everyone sees him as.
Another heart breaker Ms. Ward so thank you for that.
Am I wrong in thinking that I seen somewhere that this was only a 3 serial book? The ending leaves it open for more, this was a very good serial I must say, however we are suppose to see more from Sean from this 3 part serial but I feel that we learn more about Paige than anyone, the first serial was a lot about Sean however the second and this one seem to be more focused on Paige.. Do I mind? Not at all, why not? Because I love all Mrs.Ward(s) books and serials, this was no different, and I really liked the fact of Miss. Black being in there, however I wonder... Was this the first time her and Sean met? Or did they already k ow each other.. I have to admit I'm happy Paige was able to get over her thingy and that Sean helped her, but I want to know how he became the way he is, it wasn't Amanda's death that did it to him, you don't go from a ( what appears to be) loving husband to a guy who likes to take you to the edge of sanity and have sex with you, within the span of his wife's death and a murder trial.. I would think it would take more time to develops his particular tastes... Idk.. Questions questions questions... Happy Reading!!!
In this third and final part there is lot going on...we definitely get a better understanding of Sean.
He and Paige embark on something, a way of healing each other from the events of their pasts and it's a refreshing and compelling read.
There is some difficult scenes where Paige has to endure her worst fear and Holly wrote this with such passion and sensitivity and I relished in these brilliant scenes. The book gave both characters some peace especially Paige.
Some might say that H.M.Ward is a one trick pony as most of her books centre around one family but it's very clever that the characters provide so much inspiration to the author to continue to delve into their lives past and present and the continuity in the books is flawless and I for one am so excited with each new release.
This series is really one for the true fans of The Arrangement series.
This whole series was amazing, I really like how H.M. had told us about Sean's life as he was on trial. Paige and Sean are both struggling with something that is terrorizing them, Paige is trying to figure out how to help Sean but he says that it's not helping him. On the other hand, Sean has figured out how to truly help Paige. We all so find out how Sean and Ms. Black know each other. I really like getting to know the back story of the Ferro's. As always, H.M. Ward has held our attention with this series. So, if you're not a fan yet, you will be once you pick up one of her books. You will want to read all of them.
Will the Real Sean Ferro step forward. In the last part of Manwhore 2 Paige attempts to try and help Sean break thru his pain. In Manwhore 3 Sean returns the favor and does help Paige. What of Sean? This book as well as one and two, give you a much better understanding of why we know the Sean Ferro of today. Tragic, sad and I'm still a big fan. PS, re-introduction into Avery's pain in her side.
What a great ending to the Manwhore short stories by H.M. Ward. You totally get to see Sean Ferro in a different light. My heart broke a little more for him in this book. It also broke for Paige as we find out about her story and the demons she is fighting . I was very emotional reading this book. Two very broken people manage to bring a little light into the darkness. I highly recommend you read this series and the entire Arrangement series.
Another great series ending from Holly .....loved how vulnerable Sean is in this volume and how he learns to embrace his pain ....god I Love Sean ....also loved the ending with Paige.. I truly recommend this series to anyone yes its short but it will introduce you to the Best series ever The Arrangement that continues to follow Sean in his life ......also if you havent read any of the other Ferro books you will want to now....I swear best obsession ever
Perfectly imperfect. Sean and Paige have reached an understanding but will others be as forgiving? Has Paige learned what makes Sean tick? Can she break this billionaire manwhore? Can Sean accomplish what Paige suggests? Can he master his pain? Can Sean fight his way to freedom? H.M. Ward has finally given me an ending that doesn't leave me banging my head on the walls! Epic. A must read!
I've shown him what he needs to feel ! I've shown him how to gain some respite ! I've shown him my darkest secret ! Only time will tell, if he will use that secret, that weapon I've given him against me. The trial ends and the new Sean Ferro is reborn. Can I be reborn? Or will he condemn me to live even lower than I was before?
That's who owns Club Noir!!!! WTH mind blown but then again it !takes sense! He's here... Paige has done it she's freed Sean in a way he needed and she did the same for him. If it was for her I honestly dont think Sean would be able to be the way he is with Avery. I commend Paige and think this was vital for Sean's story and getting into the mind of a Ferro just a little bit more!
This book is meant to be a short story and a look back into Sean Ferro's life. The third installment is where you really understand where Sean's need of control comes from. It is a bit dark, yet still very much in HM's style. This series can standalone, but I recommend reading The Arrangement series to fully understand this character.
Another character from the Arrangement series shows up in this installment of Manwhore. Remembering that this book is before the Arrangement series this is the book where Sean tries to figure out what his vices are. When Paige tries to show him he doesn't want to believe that it will help him. So how will this end???
Omg I actually was really shocked at this one and I've read ever HM ward book possible. I kept thinking oh my god it can't, he can't, omg he has!!!! I was freaking out and questioning everything I've read about Sean so far then...... Holly managed to do what she always does and I realised I was blind sighted eek! It's a must read and it 100% clears the air for Sean
This book was so much more than I expected. I love love love how we finally know how Sean got started with his fetish of release. This book answers so many of the questions we have lied to find out. Great job Holly you sure know how to keep us on your toes. #urawesome!
Wow, I always wondered how Sean and Ms.Black path had crossed before. It was obvious she has a thing for him. Did I miss out on how he beat the chargers of murder. Did Paige help him? This pre story to Sean's life was helpful to Arrangement series. Good short story.
This series was ok. The only thing that I learned about Sean's past is how he became the person he is in treating Avery the way he does during sex. The book covers for this series were misleading. They make it seem like Sean and Paige were having a passionate affair. The only thing that I would like to see if a story on Ms. Black and how she became the person she currently is.
From beginning to end this was awesome! The intensity was off the ricketer scale. As hot and intense as it got, it also had moments of sincerity and understanding. You get to see how two people totally f'ed up can come together face their demons, then go about their own ways
After everything I liked this ending. Yeah she didn't get the guy but she also found herself. They found themselves where they least expected it. At least they are sorta free now from their past. Main thing is that now we know where Sean gets his Dom-sub fedish from ahaha.
Just when you think he is completely broken and in a self induced darkness, you see the gentle side of SEAN. Think it's not possible, read this installment of Manwhore! You also get the unique opportunity to see how women can truly break and make a man into who they are! Wholly ironic situations!
Love Paige and Sean's short ass story. I mean, super short. Like it wasn't enough, luckily, i can start reading the arrangement again where I left off. Even though I knew their ending wasn't going to be a HEA, it still hooked me in.
