I had been anxiously waiting for A Winter's Date ever since I finished It's A Date. Once I started reading, I literally couldn't put it down!!! I read it all in one sitting!!
This book has everything you could possibly want in it; love, romance, sex, drama, laughter and family. The writing flows so smoothly.
I was so happy for Noah and Heather. Getting to see how much they have grown together. Both of them overcoming obstacles and growing closer together. I don't want to post any spoilers, but I will say that Heather and Noah are my favorite book couple ever!!!!!! I absolutely can't wait for the next book to release in the series!!!!
Between an life altering accident and a world changing meeting with family, Noah and Hannah are riding quite the emotional rollercoaster. Through it all their love just gets stronger and they learn what forever really means for them.
I so love these two together. They are scorching hot and definitely win the best use of a lollipop EVER. Noah uses the naughty words out of his mouth spectacularly. Seriously. Sizzling. I absolutely loved this part of their story.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
First things first. If you haven't read the previous book, It's a Date, do not read any further. You definitely need to read that book before reading this one. So go to Amazon (or your ebook vendor of choice), buy it, read it and then come back to read my review.
Well our Greek god, Noah Ryan, is back. He has settled in London with Heather and all is well. At least that is what I thought when the book started. You guys! These two just can't catch a damn break! I won't give any specifics, but it results in the two of them going back to New York and Noah making a VERY big step towards discovering his past. He finally meets his birth parents and that is such an important event. He is still holding on to his anger of what Mae did (can't blame him) and doing this, with Heather right at his side, is important. It also helps that Heather happens to know them (remember that little bomb they dropped on us in the last book?) so she is able to soothe any doubts he has about them.
This book is super emotional y'all. Noah and Heather go through A LOT, both good and bad. A lot of tears are shed, but through it all, their love stays intact and is stronger than ever. You know how everyone knows at least one couple that you can't help but roll your eyes at (or is it just me?) because they are just SO IN LOVE and want everyone to know it? Yeah, that's Noah and Heather. They are still PDA-ing it up, steaming up windows and dirtying the sheets as much as possible. But it's adorable and I love them. Heather & Noah = #relationshipgoals
I love the secondary characters in this series. At one point we get the whole gang: Dani, Brannon, Coen, Dillen and Lana (Coen's new lady) all together for a wonderful surprise getaway that Noah puts together to surprise Heather. It was great to see them all relaxing having a great time, but that unfortunately that ends when tragedy strikes. Like I said, these two just can't catch a break!
The end of this book...GOOD. LORD. Let's just say that I was happy that I was home and not in public when I read it because I ugly cried like it was my freaking job. So make sure you got the tissues handy, you're gonna need them.
And while we are given answers to the questions we were left with after the first book (i.e. How does Heather know Noah's birth parents?) They give us even more to ponder by the time this book finishes. It's not a classic cliffhanger, but it follows the first book in the sense where we are left saying, "Hold up! What?" But now I have a question for the author and it is this: WHEN DOES THE NEXT BOOK COME OUT?
I fell hard and fast for Noah & Heather in It's a Date and have been anxiously awaiting their return. You have to read the first book in the series or you will be lost (don't worry, it is totally worth the read). Epps and Brummer once again captivated me with the balance to their writing. It was equal parts charming, heartbreaking, hopeful, funny and sweet. To say I devoured this book is an understatement- I was late for a meeting because I didn't want to put it down.
A Winter's Date picks up right where the first book ends- with Heather in London chasing her dream and Noah chasing both of his. It didn't take long for heartbreak to hit. My heart was in my throat when the depth of the tragedy was revealed. What I loved was that it brought Noah and Heather closer together when it could've pulled them apart. They turned to each other and their love only grew. Noah's patience and gentleness sealed the deal for me in this one. He was such a giver when it came to Heather but he also knew when to push her. And Heather, really came into her own and knew when to push Noah right back. No more so then when she stood by his side as he took a leap that terrified him. There is a great give and take in their relationship that makes it very relateable and easy to root for them. And as their love grew the chemistry and heat factor escalated as well. WHEW- these two really know how to steam up the sheets, and shower....
I absolutely LOVED Noah's surprise for Heather. He went all out and gave her something she had always wanted but never really thought she could have. And he involved everyone who mattered them them; their family. They were all there Dani, Brannon, Coen, Dillen and Lana. It was so fun to share in their joy and exuberance. Just as things are looking up and that Noah and Heather are about to have the happiness they've worked so hard for another tragedy befalls the group and leaves them all reeling.
With all that I loved about A Winter's Date there were a few times where the text seemed a bit repetitive. That being said, it didn't detract from the overall enjoyment of the book. My heart was pounding through the last bit of the story. WOW! I am still breathless and heartbroken and not sure how everyone is going to fare going forward. I am now biding my time until the next book in this series will release.
I received an ARC in exchange for a honest review on my blog (Pretty Little Book Blog)
Seriously if these ladies rewrote the phone book I would read that thing cover to cover and fall absolutely in love with it! The latest book in the Date series is incredible. You have all the fun moments of It's A Date, smexy times which involve a certain kind of candy and Heather's insatiable addiction to nail polish and the color pink (But who dosen't right?) there are amazingly romantic moments that feel cinematic in scope and there are some dark moments which really surprised me! This was a book that I was counting on to be a light, romantic adorable romp of a book and while parts of it totally are there are some parts that you are reaching for a bottle of pink moscato and trying to not bawl your eyes out. This book had my emotions all over the map and I went along willingly because well see statement one I will read anything these ladies write and because the story is fast paced and draws you in, in the first book I got invested in these characters and wanted to know how things turned out for them, we see the next chapter of Heather and Noah's story in this book and the major cliffhanger from It's A Date is explained (Thank goodness!) I like how this book did not directly pick up in the same scene that we left the characters in from book one, it eases us back into the story before all our questions are answered. And from that moment of lift off you had better hang on to your seat because you will get carpal tunnel syndrome from trying to get to the next page quickly. . . Especially toward the end of the book. I freely admit that I was frantically scanning ahead to make sure something wasn't true that I had to go back and reread the ending a couple times. So sue me but it's hard to read y'all with your jaw on the floor that's all I'm saying! ;) and now I am moving both of these books to the must have print copies of list!
You have to read It's A Date book 1 before you read Winter's Date. Winter's Date picks up right where It's A Date left off.
That being said have your tissues ready.
Noah's and Heather's journey continues on it's roller coaster of a ride. Heather dancing her heart out for the ballet. Noah studying for the bar exam. They fight their way to spend time together. Their relationship is like any normal one really. They fight, they make up. Oh boy do they make up.
They have their own little family going on. Between Heather's sister and her boyfriend. Noah's close friends oh and let's not forget about Dillion. Heather's crazy roommate. They all are a close knit circle who look out for each other.
In Winter's Date there is drama and lots of it. There is crying, there is love making, there is partying. This will have you on the edge of your seat yet again.
Some things are answered in this book that left you hanging from It's A Date. My jaw dropped. Never would have thought that. I cried in the begging and I cried at the end. How does J. Epps and S. Brummer write like that and not have tears flowing? My heart was in my throat when I was finished. There was a time where I had to put my kindle down and walk away for awhile. The anguish Noah and Heather go through in this book will tear your heart apart. Jess and Sasha literally ripped my heart out of my chest with this book.
The ending!! Yeah the know how to leave you hanging. Get ready for a fantastic read, an emotional one too.

This book is more than deserving of its 5 blue raspberry suckers.
A Winter's Date was amazing. I loved the first book in the series, It's a Date, but this one was even better. The writing from book one to book two was improved from its already great state, and the story picked up where it's predecessor left off and continued its flawless flow through every twist and turn, rise and fall, that Jess and Sasha constructed.
Heather and Noah, along with their friends and family took a firm hold of my heart and refused to give it back as they went through their highs and lows. There were moments of laughter, moments of sadness, and moments when the hotness factor was off the charts. Their relationship is one that you can relate to, it's not forced and it's so real. And the support and bond between them and their friends/family are what people dream of having in their own lives.
I can't wait to see what happens in the third book. If this one was any indication, I'll be left staring at my Kindle wondering how long it'll take before I can pick up another book again.
Without a doubt amazing! I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book after reading It's A Date, and it by far exceeded my expectations. Geez my emotions were all over the place. One minute I'm swooning hard at my Noah (yes I said MY) and the next I'm bawling my eyes out. I freaking love the chemistry between Noah and Heather! Can we say hot as hell! I'm never looking at a sucker the same way again. Just saying. Noah and Heather grew so much in this book. Obstacles were conquered, relationships were mended, past hurts healed and an even more intense love grew between these two. You ladies nailed this one. Let me just say this, I am literally over here dying for more!!!! Totally on pins and needles for the next step in their journey. A Winter's Date was definitely a five star read for me. I highly recommend this book and am extremely excited to see what these wonderful authors bring us next.
After reading It's A Date, I was left wanting more of Noah and Heather's story. I couldn't wait to get my hands one A Winter's Date. A Winter's Date is not a standalone, you must read It's A Date first.
In the beginning Noah is with Heather in London. Crazy Alexis is there too. OMG Alexis really showed how crazy she is in this one.
I was hoping for some more happiness before we got sadness. At about 9% we are hit was some tragedy and then it get worse before it gets better. I loved how strong Noah is even when you know he has to be falling apart inside.
I loved reading the sad and happy parts of their story. The ending took me by surprise. I didn't expected the heartbreak at the end. It's very crazy heartbreaking ending. I can't wait to read the next one and see the characters do next.
Oh Noah......... Did you meet this amazing male specimen in It's A Date? Well he is back! Our Noah and his brooding storm really brings it for this book. Heather is his woman and he is going to do whatever it takes to keep her. Our pretty amazing ballerina is as great as ever of course. This book took me on one hell of a ride of laughter, heart, tears and anguish. There are some crazy surprises in this book that you will never see coming. What can you hope for in this story? Read it because I am not spoiling it for you.
A fantastic second book in this DATE series. There's more classic Noah, the plot thickens, the writing is tighter, and the ending leaves you feeling as if you've been in a train wreck.
Too much over the top drama. How many times do we have to read about Noah's monstrous cock? The first book was so good, then this one took a nosedive. The repetitive sex scenes could have been deleted as they were unnecessry filler. Heather just got So irritating that I couldn't sympathize with her. Here's hoping the authors can salvage the story in their next book. I'll wait until it is free from amazon.
I received an ARC.This book was phenomenal!! I don't even know where to start. This book had sexy times, laughter, friendship, and family all into one. I loved how once again Noah showed his dominant side but was so, so sweet. I love how sassy his little ballerina was at times. I had several favorite parts that made me say, "oh my", and laugh my tail off. I could not put this book down!!
OMG! This book was great. I couldn't put it down. I love Heather Noah and all the other characters. I still can't believe how it ended. Can't wait for book 3 and to see what happens with Heather and Noah. I still would love to see Heather kick Alexis butt. Thanks Jess and Sasha! Team Heather and Noah!
The is an ARC provided by the author for an honest review
This is the second book in the series and it finishes with a clifhanger.
Absolutely fantastic WOW WOW WOW HOT SEXT A MUST READ! This book is worthy of 5 stars.
This book starts almost where the last book finishes. In this book we find out more about Noah's past and his family, Heather and her ballet career and more of my favourite characters. This a love story that has you reaching for the tissues on more then one occasion and its a rollercoaster of emotions. There is Drama, sadness, arguments, deception, joy and most importantly love and some really hot sex scenes, there is not much you want in a book. This book is again, like the first book, written in duel POV's. Although the book may centre on Noah and finding his family Heather goes through the ringer along side of Noah and how they cling together and strengthen each other. So so so much happens in this book that I felt it just didn't end for Noah and heather.
It was greatly written dual POV's, there was not any violence and had lots and lots of sex scenes, which is where the negative is. We see much more of Noah's dominance which is hot but I felt that the hot sex scenes took a little over the book. It seemed every other chapter had a sex scene and it became a little repetitive which took away the enjoyment of the story. I found Noah and Heather said 'I love you' every other sentence when they talked which again became repetitive. There were only a couple of scenes that I felt didn't need to be there, only the fact it was set up for a sex scene. Those are the only negatives I found with this book. We see more of Dillon and I love her, I found I connected with her the most, more then Heather. I loved her personality and they way she is with Heather and with Noah.
This story, for me is better then the first book because it goes right into the story and it's a page turner. I can't wait to read the next book because this book ends on a clifhanger and I need to know what happens next and how everyone is doing. If you want to know what I mean read the book, because although I found some negatives with it, the book is good enough to ignore them to get to the main story.
A Winters Date is the beautiful, poignant, enchanting and enthralling second book in the Date Series. Jess & Sasha have captivated me with yet another exhilarating installment following Noah & Heather. My emotions are currently swilling through me in a turbulent mess. I've laughed, I've cried both sad and happy tears, I've screamed and hugged my kindle. But most of all I've sat here reading over the last few chapters making sure I did indeed read it right. My heart and brain are thunderous organs right now battling against each other wanting, no, needing to know what happens next. I have so many questions I need answering, I guess they don't call J&S the mind f**k queens for nothing!! Yet again I fell head over heels in love with Noah. His intensity is thrilling and his dominance is on fire! The Greek god is even HOTTER...honestly!! He can brew up a storm around me anyday! A cold shower would have come in handy a few times while reading too!! Jess & Sasha's writing is wonderful and allows you to become fully immersed in the story. Every word sits deep and ignites you down to the very fibre of your soul. As a writing duo they mould together and compliment each other perfectly. I look forward to the next installment!

After reading it’s a date I couldn’t wait for this book and it doesn’t disappoint. You have to read book one of Noah and Heathers story or youl be lost as it starts where it’s a date finishes, once again I was drawn in hook line and sinker to their world. Its emotional and gritty, passionate and sexy.Questions left unanswered in book one will be answered but in this new instalment there are ups and downs twists and turns and I cant wait to see what happens for them next!! I loved this second book the authors have done it again their writing is flawless, the story emotional, touching and funny. The characters I loved even more.Youll need tissues, maybe even a moment or two to walk away and come back to it and be prepared for the ending!!
Noah and Heather can overcome any obstacle and have their relationship come out stronger. They have a love like any fairy tale you could ever read. Amazing, mind blowing, and addictive are just a few words I would use to describe this book. This book was one of the best reads of 2015 for me. I love the characters and how the story line draws you from beginning to end. You will never feel like you need to skip ahead but you will find yourself rereading sections it's that good. I laughed, I cried, and I drank a lot of wine. Amazing book I can't wait to read the next one. I don't want to post any spoilers you just need to read this book.
I didn't even realise this book had be released. I've been waiting for this instalment for awhile. Loved it. These two ladies always put me on a roller coaster with my emotions. Love the ups & downs with Heather & Noah's relationship. Once their relationship was back on track & Heather was recuperating, I was thinking how smooth this book was going. I laughed, there were a few tears, it's steamy, frustrating, made me extremely happy then BAM. My heart was ripped out towards the end. You can never get to comfortable with the storyline. Wow, I can't wait for the next one. Jess & Sasha are two very talented Authors. Great series......
This is a fantastic follow up from the first book It's a date. If you loved the first book like me you will love this follow up as much as I did.
Heather is still dancing 24/7 and Nosh is studying like mad. They are a normal couple they argue they make up but oh my God they are so in love and I'm tune with each other .
This novella truly is a beautiful love story. Questions from book 1 that you wanted answers for are answered. Heather and Noah have their close knit family around them.Heather's sister and her boyfriend,Dillion and Noah's close friends.
I can't say to much more without giving away any spoiler. Just make sure you have tissues on stand by if your weepy like me.
Wow. Wooooooooooow! That was the most unfortunate ending ever! As if Heather and Noah hadn't been through enough already lets just keep taking from them!? No!!! I'm sad about it yes, but I feel that ending was so unnecessary! It was like kicking a new born puppy.... twice! No. Just no! Oh and how that total b*tch Alexis basically was let off the hook for what she did!!?? ARGGHHHH!!!! She better die in the next book. If this whole "unfortunate" business is going to continue then let her be run over by a bus or something because I'm not okay with her getting exactly what she wanted (minus Noah) after what she did! Hell to the NO!
I have read book one in this series and it was a unique romance story it was sweeping and both light and dark in its view of the central characters relationships, and this second book in the series does the same which i am very grateful for. In this story their relationship is seriously tested and it is beautiful and romantic as well as tragic and you go through the emotions reading this book. I love the way he ballerina and the fighter are both each strong but delicate at certain points in this series. Very worth a read :)
This book will take you on an emotional roller-coaster ride! You will laugh, cry and want to hurt some of the characters. I am sad to be leaving Noah and Heather land but I will definitely be looking for the next book! Noah is amazing! To bad all guys aren't like him lol but Heather is sweet and caring and they are really the perfect couple! They have both lost a lot but Heather has lost so much I cannot wait to see how she recovers from this last loss! I give this book a 5 out of 5 stars and highly recommend reading this! Great job J. Epps and S. Brummer!
Wow. Just wow. This is the second book in the series by J. Epps and S. Brummer and it was simply amazing. I loved this continuation of Noah and Heather's story. There were so many ups and downs in their story that it keeps you captivated by every page. Their love for each other is something that people dream of and I loved the other characters in the story as well. The ending absolutely killed me and I can't wait to read the next one to see what happens next.
A Winters Date will will leave you wanting more! Ryan and Heaters relationship is never easy but at no time do we doubt their love for one another, it true and it is raw. Together they grow as individuals and as a couple.
Despite tragedy they support each other and get through it.
I love them, I love the story and after the last line was finished I was overwhelmed with such emotion.
