This was absolutely awful.

Zach is working constantly and always cancelling plans with his wife and kids for work. Rather than put his family first he's more worried about his pride as a man and making sure he doesn't let down Randall, a family friend that wants him to run his company.

He sees how much it's hurting his wife and how his young children barely recognize him when he comes through the door because he's rarely home except to sleep. BUT HE DOES NOTHING TO CHANGE THAT!

When his wife is offered a full time position he gets furious with her for not consulting him since they agreed she'd stay home and rise the kids till pre-K. He basically accuses her of being selfish and how dare she not call him first rather than Randall (the son of a bitch was on a 4 day business trip) and then storms out of the house. Mind you he had just once again cancelled a get away with his wife because he had to work.

Well FUCK YOU you misogynistic piece of garbage. Go fuck yourself you absolute good for nothing son of a bitch. The heroine was a complete and utter doormat and kept apologizing and yet he never had to apologize for how he put his family 2nd to work?

I found him to be abusive and a misogynist wanting her to stay home and verbally berating her when he was the one at fault. This was not romance but an example of a controlling and abusive relationship that anyone should want to stay away from. He wasn't too tired to wake up early to fuck his wife but he would be too tired or busy if she needed to discuss important matters with him?

It didn't matter to be that he ended up having an epiphany after their big fight by then because I needed a major apology. A surprise trip doesn't make up for hurtful words and ALL the broken promises that he never seemed to feel were that big of a deal anyway. It was just a bandaid and i felt like Moira was way too forgiving and understanding when it came to Zach but not the other way around.

This author should be ashamed of herself for trying to pass this off as romance.

This short story is complete sexy yummyness that melted me in big puddle of goo.
“Moira and I were created and exist solely for the benefit of each other. We are a team. We are one. We are love.”

Marriage, just like life, has its ups and downs and is in constant change. No two days, months or years are the same. What usually begins as a couple soon expands to a family with children and careers that require time and attention that take away time from the two people that started their a new life together.

Moira and Zach are not exception and if you add a bit of miscommunication, some fear and frustrations and the man that even though is now belongs to modern society had lived most of his life in the jungle and we get a Christmas that’s bound to be a bit Uncivilized.
“I had dreams that I realized were unfulfilled… It was wrong of me to have them and not discuss them with Zach first and foremost. He’s my best friend, my confidant, my mentor, and my biggest champion. He’s my soul mate, the yin to my yang, and the universe created him solely for me, and I for him.”

I just loved Zach and Moira in Uncivilized with their arousing attraction and spellbinding love and Love: Uncivilized is the perfect addition to their story. It’s delicious even when they’re having the normal troubles married couples go through trying to balance their shifting lives while keeping their connection in the forefront.

I completely understood Moira’s feeling of neglect and simply not being number one in Zach’s priority list. It was great how she pondered, weighed and even understood him when she started working again. The same goes for Zach, I got his desire to succeed for him and his family while struggling with guilt because he did place his family second to his work more often than not. But even if their bond is shaken it’s still soul deep and strong. With patience, understanding and unyielding love they’ll find their happiness that will melt anyone’s heart.

** Love: Uncivilized is a follow up novella to the book, Uncivilized. While it can be read as a standalone, it is best appreciated after having read Uncivilized first. It is told from both points of view, filled with lots of steam hot sexiness and swoon worthy moments.

Confession time, when I signed up to read and review this book I didn’t realize it was a novella to another story. I just knew it was Sawyer Bennett and I love her writing, so I signed up immediately. That being said, I loved it and now I just want to read Moira and Zach’s story.

Love: Uncivilized picks up with Zach and Moira eight years later. They are married with children, living the dream and their happily ever after. Look I am not a fan of stories like this, I prefer to go into my bubble and pretend that things are always good and happy in my romances. So, I was crazy nervous to read this – even knowing I hadn’t read their original story – I still wanted to my happily ever after.

I was completely wrong in my fear, because this story just made this couple more endearing and real to me. I completely fell in love with these two. Moira and Zach are not perfect. They have insecurities and issues, but I loved how they worked through them and in the end choose to fight. I love how despite their issues they never questioned their love and commitment to each other and their family.

This novella was absolutely perfect and I do think reading Uncivilized first would just make me love it so much more. So while you can read it as a standalone, I will warn you, it will definitely have you reaching for their original story!

Love is a lovely Christmas bonus novella from Sawyer Bennett we catch up with Zach and Moira who have been married for eight years and have two cute little kids.

There is trouble brewing in the Easton family home, life is getting in the way with Zach working so many hours they never spend anytime together and they are just existing. Moira goes back to work and this causes even more tension between them. Zach is feeling left out of the family and even their sex life has become boring.

With Christmas coming can Zach and Moira find some Christmas magic to reignite their relationship in and out of the bedroom and re-connect with each other.

I enjoyed catching up with these two they still have their sizzling moments, we can’t have a Sawyer Bennett story without the sizzle. I recommend this to anyone who loved Uncivilized.

LOVE. I have so much love and appreciation for Sawyer Bennett. She simply is an amazing author who continues to write beautiful love stories and LOVE: UNCIVILIZED really captured this sentiment to the core. I love when authors surprises readers with a follow-up novella that allows readers to get a glimpse of what happened to their favorite fictional characters and I couldn't be more thrilled to catch up with Zach and Moira. Love takes place eight years later and Zach and Moira are happily married with their two beautiful kids but along the way, that sizzling connection that they shared had a few bumps along the way. Zach is constantly busy at work and staying late. He is missing out on quality family time. And Moira is a stay at home mom who misses teaching. As they go on through the monotone motions of life, they both realized that they need to get back that spark and connection that made them Zach and Moira. Can Zach and Moira reignite their devotion and love for each other?

#LoveUncivilized

I absolutely loved this novella because it's so raw, honest and exposes the reality of any marriage. Zach and Moira could easily represent any married couple with children. Sometimes we got so busy with our work that we fail to see the really important things in life. Like quality time with the children and making more an effort to appreciate and be there for your significant other. I love that Ms. Bennett exposes that yes Moira and Zach are soulmates but they are humans who can easily make mistakes. But rest assured Zach and Moira still have that burning LOVE and spark to set hearts racing. What else can I say but go read this sweet, touching, and raw novella. Be prepared to fall in love all over again with Zach and Moira. Thank you Sawyer Bennett for this beautiful, uplifting and inspiring love story.

Yum! I love these two. Even when they're struggling like hell. Love: Uncivilized was a quickie novella and one I totally devoured instead of mowing the lawn this afternoon. I loved catching up with Moira and Zach now that it's been 8+ years since he left the wild jungles of the Amazon for civilized life in the US with Moira. They're married. They have kids. Careers. And bumps along the way as they try to balance it all and not lose the passion and connection that brought them together so many years earlier.

It's not a fluffy Christmas read but I still loved it. These two are having a hard go of things. Feeling neglected and hurt because of busy scheduled. I loved seeing them work it out though. Pulling each other out of funks and trying to make things work even if it was a bumpy ride. And gah the ending totally made me cry. Zach and his alpha male self totally pulled it out and got it right. There's some yummy sex and some sweet moments mixed in too. This one is definitely for those who have read book one, Uncivilized. I wouldn't suggest reading it as a stand alone. Definitely need to know these two and what they've been through for the full impact.

This book proves again that Sawyer Bennett is dynamic writer who knows how to traverse difficult emotional terrain with insight, compassion, and drama. Love: Uncivilized is the follow up novella to last year’s Uncivilized. That book explored sexual boundaries in the context of bringing back a man raised in the Amazon jungle to civilized life. The relationship between Moira and Zach was primal and edgy. This book explores what happens during the Happily Ever After.

There are so many truths in this novella. Truth #1 – Marriage is hard. Even this fairytale couple experiences drool-worthy, frustrating, disappointing and fearful moments. There is one particular section in the book where I became so angry; I literally cursed Zach with a four-letter word. Zach and Moira’s love is so beautiful because of its purity. They are so forthcoming with each other, no subterfuge. However, even in the strongest marriages, fractures can occur. This book has painful moments because it is so real, moments of heartbreaking unease that makes your stomach dip because you realize that something so seemingly solid may not make it.

Truth #2: Couples must remain vigilant against erosion. Erosion in a relationship is insidious. Mistrust sneaks in and nibbles away at confidence, openness, and benefit of the doubt in a marriage. The issues they deal with are authentic and scary because the troubles are so normal.

Truth #3: Couples must have the courage to communicate. The only way to overcome obstacle is be truthful with one another. And I love the fact that Zach and Moira accept nothing less. Whew!

IN A NUTSHELL
Sawyer Bennett hits a vulnerable spot with this book. Zach and Moira deserve a revisit. I highly recommend this story.

Thank you to the author for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

I had to read this, to check whether Zack and Moira are still humping like bunnies.
Now they are married and they have two small children.
So definitely they do NOT have time and they do NOT hump like bunnies.

Zack has a job boring as hell managing his godfather's stores, Moira is the typical stay at home mum with her ups and downs and her unfulfilled dreams.

I actually found this book better than the first one and I could relate to the characters.

Love (Uncivilized book 1.5) is an ok Novella set 8 years after Uncivilized where we find Zack and Moira married with two little ones. Did I love the jump into the future showing us what the couple was up too absolutely was I satisfied No. While I still loved the couple, I preferred the uncivilized Zack because the business Zack was boring. He worked so hard which was totally understandable but the drama was mainly from him always cancelling plans and missing dinners with his family which made me very sad for the couple. Overall while I loved the glimpse into the future, the story was boring.

Oh, swoooooooon (and slap, because seriously, Zach?) I love this author, these characters...and these types of stories—what happens after happily ever after?

For Zacharias Easton and his wife of eight years, Moira, LIFE happens. With two kids and increasingly busy lives, they're finding it harder to spend time together—and that means, things aren't as they once were...

This sexy, smart and quick little novella was excellent. Because it was so real, and yet still had a healthy dose of fantasy man and smokin' hot sex. Zach and Moira aren't perfect, but they're still perfect together, and the challenges they face are ones that ALL couples face after years of marriage and kids and responsibilities take the initial shine off.

But the shine is still there. At least, for me with these characters. I felt as in love and as connected to them this time around as I did in the memorable and incredible Uncivilized, and even though I wanted to knock some sense into Zach at times, and encourage Moira to open up at others, I still wanted to just be with these people. I wanted them to be real—and for them to prove that true love CAN stand the test of time.

I think I need to know that it can. In fact, I know that I do. And romance readers know that it's hard sometimes, when everything is so right, to relate that to real life. But with this book…with the book you can. And you do. And that's why I love these types of stories. And this author. ~ Beth, 5 stars

“When did our lives get so hectic?”
“It’s your fault,” she says with a small laugh, followed by a quick sip of coffee. “The minute your sperm punched through my egg, it got hectic. But I suspect this happens a lot to marriage when kids and life get in the way.”

And isn’t that the TRUTH! Those of us married with children know that more than anyone else. I am a huge Sawyer Bennett fan, but I think Uncivilized has been my all-time favorite story from her and I was freaking excited to find out we were getting a special glimpse into Zach and Moira, eight years into their marriage.

I was even more excited that the nearly perfect couple had issues that the rest of us deal with on a daily basis; making time for one another. This story was so relatable and I loved every minute of it! It was a quick, sweet, sexy read.

I really loved that we still saw some of that caveman in Zach.

“He silences me with a kiss. A hard, brutal kiss followed by a low growl only I can hear. ‘Get your ass in the fucking car, Moira. The sooner we get there, the sooner I can fuck my wife, okay?’”

But I also loved seeing his more modern side. I loved being able to connect with Moira. I adored seeing the children they created. And knowing that all couples struggle—even perfect, soulmate worthy, fictional couples—gave me that glimmer of hope that we will all be ok. This is a MUST READ for any fan of Uncivilized! ~ Tiffany, 4.5 stars

~~~
This short, sexy follow-up to Zach and Moira’s story hit me right where I live. I’m not going to lie—I had a little bit of trouble relating to Zach and Moira in Uncivilized. I felt like I never really connected to the characters, and while they were hot as hell—no question—I just never developed a strong emotional attachment to them (which is unusual for me, when it comes to Sawyer Bennett’s books). I approached this novella expecting more of the same, and then proceeded to have my emotions walloped by this honest, sometimes sweet, sometimes heartbreaking (always sexy) look at married life.
Zach and Moira’s struggle to balance family and career without losing pieces of themselves and important parts of their relationship along the way was like a chapter out of my own life. I was invested immediately, and found myself rooting for them to find a way to make things work, to take back their marriage. If I was a little disconnected to Uncivilized, I was perhaps a little too emotionally connected to Love: Uncivilized!
Like I said, this hit me right where I live. The evolution of Zach and Moira as individuals and as lovers rang so true to me. It was emotional while never losing the intense heat and chemistry that was so strong in Uncivilized. I’m so glad I read it, and so, so glad that Ms. Bennett wrote it. It took a storyline that seemed a little far-fetched and turned it into real life. I was glued to my Kindle, loving how Ms. Bennett showed us that, sometimes, even real life (difficult as it may be) can be the stuff that fantasies are made of. ~ Shelly, 4 stars
Uncivilized is one of my favorite Sawyer Bennett books (and it’s seriously the HOTTEST one of hers yet), so I was incredibly happy when I found out that there would be a sequel novella! I absolutely LOVED Moira and Zach in Uncivilized, so Love: Uncivilized was a total treat for me. I adored reading about them again, this time as a married couple with children.
It’s been almost eight years of marriage for Zach and Moira, and with two kids and Zach’s blooming career, this couple isn’t spending as much time together as much as they wish they could. Zach is working crazy hours to prove his worth to his uncle, and Moira is left home with the kids, but she’s itching to go back to work. She also misses Zach like crazy, because even when he’s there, he’s not really there – but they still love each other something fierce, and she has no doubt that they’ll get through this bump in their marriage.
That is the Zach I miss the most on those nights where he’s too tired to do anything past snuggling into me tight. My primitive, controlling, domineering man that focuses all of these egocentric traits on giving me pleasure, protecting his family, and making us happy.
The issues that Zach and Moira and their marriage face just felt so very REAL. Sawyer Bennett did an incredible job with making this story so very relatable. Zach and Moira are not a perfect couple, because no couple ever is, but the love they have for each other, that connection that they had from the very moment they met, is still there. I loved getting this glimpse into Zach and Moira’s married life, experiencing their struggles alongside them, seeing them work their way through problems together.
We got lost for a bit, but when it boiled right down to it… Moira and I were created and exist solely for the benefit of each other.
When you finish a book, sometimes you just want to read MORE about your favorite characters, you know? Love: Uncivilized is exactly that ‘more’ that I wanted from Moira and Zach. If you loved Uncivilized, you don’t want to miss this follow-up novella!
Uncivilized was my first ever Sawyer Bennett book and it made me an instant-for-life fan. It really created a monster. One that resulted in me devouring all of her books since I put down Zach and Moira.
Life has been good for Zach and Moira but balancing it all has left a void in their relationship that isn’t quite as easy to fix. Zach’s world changed when he met Moira and being the man to give her everything and not let anyone down is driving a wedge between them. Love, is a glimpse into the life of a uncivilized man – turned civilized and might just need to get back to those primal roots to reclaim the woman he loves before the distance is too great to close.
I was so excited to get more of these two and as much as I was looking forward to a five star experience, I was a little sad about the struggle of these two. It was breaking my heart completely to see them so distracted with life and from each other. And although it wasn’t explosive in the way that my first experience with them was, it was heartwarming at just how far Zach had come in this series. I loved it, I really did, but part of me didn’t expect this story to be so much struggle to find that balance. But I can say that it hit so many truths that couples face as they evolve from sex-crazed lovers to parents and to becoming so involved in the work aspect of their lives that things get shoved aside and taken for granted.
This was about a 4.5 star read over all, I just wished we got more of the happy times with Zach and Moira after they realized that they needed to reconnect.
I have to say, if you have not read Sawyer Bennett yet, you are missing out. She is a must read author, her books will not let you down and with each new release, I find myself devouring it and wanting her to release ten more just to keep me satisfied.
This is the follow up to Uncivilized, which I only found Ok, but this was short and free…so, I figured why not. Love Uncivilized picks up eight years later. I’m assuming they’re approx. Z-35 and M-37-ish now. Zach and Moira are married with two young children. Zach is now #2 at Cannon’s and a workaholic which is causing tension in the marriage.
I actually didnt like this book. I kind of hated that Zach turned into such a lousy husband and even worse parent. I didnt like the fact that he thought that by having crazy and long sex, his problems were going to be over. Hmm the long hours at work, the no having dinner at home every day ughh it just made me hate him. I mean I kept waiting for thebig fight and then him redeeming himself as a husband and most importantly as a dad, but it never happened.
Throughout the book he never expressed feelings about feeling guilty for not spending time with his kids. I regret reading this book because I loved the previous one and I had a different idea of him in my mind. And now I just think that by giving his wife a xmas vacation all problems are suddenly going to vanish??
Obviously I love this author and everything she writes but this book was def not for me.
I loved this Christmas novella! I didn't get to read it as soon as it was released during the holiday season, but it was perfect for reading around Valentine's Day.
Minor spoilers alerts!!!
It's now 8 years later, and professor Moira and her alpha husband Zach have 2 adorable kids, Cannon and Jaime. I loved reading how the kids were so much like Zach physically and how Jaime shared a bit of Zach's domineering traits, ha!
‘Two years separate them, but you can’t tell that to Jaime. She abhors being separated from Cannon and doesn’t understand that big boys can go up the stairs by themselves and sweet, little babies that toddle around like drunk monkeys half the time need to stay down with Mommy.’
Lately, Moira’s never sure which Zach will come home to her at the end of the day. Uncivilized Zach or CEO-wannabe Zach?
‘I want my wild and uncivilized man back who only had eyes for me. Now I’m lucky if his tired eyes can stay open long enough to give me a once over before he falls asleep.’ ~Moira
I have even more respect for parents after reading this novella. Moira and Zach have a hard reality check and finally acknowledge how much their relationship as a loving couple with an intense sexual bond was starting to suffer. CEO Zach was definitely guilty of taking Moira for granted one time too many. One of my favorite scenes was when Moira turned the tables on him, and he realized how much having her shut him out hurt.
‘We’ve always, always shared intimacy. Whether it’s me being balls deep inside of her, or me just holding her snugly in her slumber, Moira and I are at our best when we are touching.’ ~Zach
I liked that Moira took action first to shake things up – mixing things up in their sex life and going back to work part time. There is no sin in wanting to use your intellectual gifts, and arguably doing so makes you an even better spouse and parent.
‘I used to be so annoyed with Zach that he could just seem to forget all the ways in which our marriage was hurting, convinced that work was more important than I was. What I’ve come to realize instead is that it’s easy to let other things interfere, particularly when you find those other things to be a refreshing change of pace to your life.’ ~Moira
Zach’s youth as an adopted member of the Caraican tribe in the Amazon played a huge role in how he initially viewed the sacrifices that Moira made to make their family life work. Fortunately, he quickly let go of his traditional viewpoint and got his head in the game to be an equal supportive player along with Moira. In true CEO fashion, he made her an excellent PowerPoint presentation to confirm his support and commitment.
‘I’m making this vow to you.
To make you number one.
From this day forward.
Always.
If you want to work part time and keep the kids at home like you have been doing…
I’ll support you and that decision 100%, and I think it’s the best decision you could possibly make.
You’re mine, Moira, and that means your happiness is paramount to everything else. It always will be.’
I did a lot of commenting on GoodReads and highlighting in my e-book. There were so many wonderfully sexy (hello holiday Thanksgiving pre-prep scene!), realistic, moving and sometimes funny moments as they worked towards their HEA2.0. Many thanks to author Sawyer Bennett for giving us a little more of one of the most unique couples I’ve ever fallen in love with.
Hard to believe but eight years have passed. Zach and Moira now have 2 young children; Zach has a challenging career, and Moira's about to get back into the workplace after spending a few years at home with the kids. They are typical parents with busy careers/lives/children. The time they take for themselves has sort of been put on the back burner. It's all work and kids. And occasional moments of super-hot sex. But it's not enough. Zach and Moira need to take the time to work on their marriage, to communicate, to realize what is really important to them. They are still mad for each other, but...something is off. Can they figure it out before there's irreparable harm done to their marriage?
Well done and very believable. Zach and Moira have some problems, but I always felt that they could work it out, if they just communicated. But who has time when your life revolves around your kids and your very demanding job? So happy to see Zach step-up and make sure their marriage was the number one priority. I felt that maybe Moira could've made her feelings known a little bit better, but she seemed reluctant to rock the boat. And Zach was not the greatest mind reader. But it was clear that these two deeply loved each other, their lives, and their children. They just needed to find a way to make it all work. I loved reading their journey. I hope Sawyer Bennett revisits this couple much in the same way that Samantha Young gives us an update on Braden and Jocelyn (On Dublin Street) every so often. Now that would be something to look forward to.:) 5 stars
Love Uncivilized is the follow-up novella to Sawyer Bennett's Uncivilized. I recommend reading Zach and Moira's story from the beginning to truly enjoy this one.
Here's the thing. Marriage is hard and parenthood is harder. Balancing our own adult lives isn't easy and adding the fact that you need to keep your children healthy and happy just adds more stress to the mix. leave it to Zacharias Easton and his swooniness to do the trick!
Zach and Moira have one of the best relationships I've ever read. They're loving, patient and typically understanding of each other's concerns. When Moira decides to go back to the workforce, she's excited at the prospect but Zach's demanding schedule at work is hard for everyone to handle.
Sawyer Bennett doesn't disappoint with Love Uncivilized. We get it all in this super sweet and steamy novella. Moira's wit, Zach's love and dirty-talking are all present and accounted for. I would really love for even more of their story as its one of the best I've read this year.
It was a very pleasure to revisit Moira and Zack! I really loved their story and this novella was a real gift for me! ;)
Eight years have passed since their happy ending in Uncivilized and they have two adorable kids, Zack is a very successful and busy businessman (though in bed he is always our delicious uncivilized man XD) while Moira is struggling to juggle being a mother, wife and career woman. Of course, as every marriage, they have to deal with some difficulties but the author made a good job in making everything appear real without exceed in too much angst. The sex scenes were hot and sweet.
I hope we will get more short stories about this couple because I don't think I'll ever get tired of Zack and Moira! ;)
This is a follow-up novella to Uncivilized and it's raw, real, and hot as hell! After eight years Moira and Zach are facing the challenges of any married with children couple. He works too much, she's not satisfied with the stay at home mom role she's currently in, finding time for true intimacy is all but impossible. They both know the problems but the solution is a bit more difficult to come up with. One thing they do know is that the love and respect they have for each other will pull them through this tough time.
I definitely recommend this one but read Uncivilized first, you'll appreciate this one so much more.
This was a fun and sexy short novella. It was great to be back with Zach and Moira.
I enjoyed how they tried to spice up their marriage. Trying to keep it fresh and show each other their love.
Zach still has his sexy uncivilized ways with Moira which she loves beyond anything. She still knows how to push his buttons.
This was such a feel good novella and it only made me smile even more.
This was a really good, short novella and a great addition to Zach and Moira's story. Life after the HEA isn't always easy. Very sweet and steamy.
Love uncivilized by Sawyer Bennett ~ 4.5 Stars
*** Love: Uncivilized is a follow up novella to the book, Uncivilized. This was short, beautiful, sweet story. There is still plenty of sexy time. I think I fall in love with Zach and Moira’s love story all over again :)
This book can be read alone but I highly recommend you read Uncivilized first to get the back story. Uncivilized is a unique story, sexy, forbidden love. One of my favorite story I read this year!!!!! Super HOT too … Just take a look at the cover :) :)
How did things ever get to be so difficult?
Nearly eight years of marriage.
Two kids.
Hectic careers and major life choices.
Throw in sexual frustration, doubts, insecurities and one wild man not completely tamed by society, and you have a Christmas that’s bound to get out of control.
Zacharias Easton will show you just how uncivilized love can be.
The story picked up after 8 years. Zach is now a successful business man working for his uncle company. Moira is staying at home mom taking care their young children. Just like any couple they have to deal with life’s challenges. The up and down that normal marriage couples go through. Zach is dedicated to his work and often come home late. Moira is lonely and missing her husband everyday. Jealousy gets in the way. How do they find the balance in order to keep their love alive? I enjoy this book because it touches issues that we can all relate to. I often said I read romance and fiction so I can get away from reality but since this is a short novella and the drama does not drag on. It felt real. In a way, I feel like this is a nice long epilogue with a PERFECT ending to Zach and Moira’s love story.
Nicely done Ms Bennett. Thank you!
Zach and Moira are back! If you read Uncivilized, you'll have a a continued peak into the lives of favorite characters eight years later. Never read? Never fear. Sawyer Bennett has crafted a novella that is a complete story without feeling like you 'have to' read the first book. However, I strongly recommend you read Uncivilized as its a wild storyline with lots and lots of a uncivilized man.
After I finish a book where I've fallen in love with both main characters, I often wonder - what happened after their HEA? Did they stay? Did they have kids? Do they still love each other like they did? Here the reader gets a peek into fast forward eight years in a committed relationship. Ms. Bennett gives the reader a real story. You love each other but you get comfortable. You expect your partner to be there. But what if just 'being there' isn't enough? We get a view of alternating POV where making our significant other Number One isn't always easy.
I absolutely loved this novella. I felt like I read through a complete story start to finish. I really appreciated that the author wove the story where reading or re-reading the original story wasn't a necessity. But, do yourself a favor, if you haven't, read Uncivilized too.
Love: Uncivilized is a short novella, so please If you want to have the whole experience read "Uncivilized" first.
Read the Book photo: Read the Book ReadtheBook_zps933581fd.gif
In this novella we find our "uncivilized' couple and their HEA. Like any other marriage, HEAs are not that easy. You have to work for it if you want this HEA to last!
Great story!
