Jennifer grew up in beautiful south Louisiana. Her earliest memories were in New Orleans. Living in “America's first melting pot” taught her to appreciate culture, cuisine, and music from a young age. Her lifelong fascination with Ancient mythology and Medieval folklore remains another influence on her writing.
She and her dashing husband, Japheth, live in Kansas City, Missouri.
A wonderful story about a Princess in Roman times. Varina, real name is Gwenwhyfar. Her fate was decided at birth and was promised to, Petronius a Roman. They married and life did not happen as it was supposed to. Petronius dies and that is the beginning of the story of two men who fall in love with Gwenwhyfar.
We have always wondered about Atlantis, was this a real place, is it just a fable? Real or not this story is full of wonderful places and things on the Shores of Forever.
Thank you Jennifer McKeithen for giving me the opportunity to read, enjoy, and give a review. Looking forward to reading the sequel, Atlantis On the Tides of Destiny
I first came across this on Wattpad.com, a writing website. Being a die-hard fan of historical fiction, especially works set during Celtic or Roman history, I was pretty excited to read it. And the book certainly didn't disappoint.
I was immediately drawn into the story and the characters and story-line intrigued me greatly. I literally didn't stop reading until I had read all that there was on Wattpad at the time. Beautifully told and well-written; it's certainly one of my favorites. If I don't buy it sooner, it's going to be on my birthday wish-list for sure.
I really enjoyed reading (or should I say devouring) the first book and look forward to the others in the series!
I was able to read a preview of this book while it was in the final stages of production, and I gotta say, I absolutely loved it!
I'm a picky reader in general, especially when it comes to historic fiction. But Mrs. McKeithen certainly did her research, and the Classical Era was skillfully-depicted. The characters, too, were well-rounded and likeable, and the setting descriptions were just lovely.
This was a refreshing world to sink into with a cup of coffee in the morning. The characters are charming. The story remains smooth and interesting the whole way through.
