I really enjoyed this book. It had a lot of plot twists and turns. The story developed in ways that I never would have anticipated. I LOVED the author's use of human eye color. I have never seen that explored before and I thought it was very original. I also enjoyed following two narratives side by side as the story unfolded as it kept me intrigued. I almost stopped reading a few chapters in because I felt so sad for the characters. I'm glad that I didn't though because the author was intentionally setting up depth for the character that I really enjoyed later on. There are so many nail biting developments that it is hard to put the book down. Excellent read!
Hands of Fire is a fantasy story focusing on 2 characters: Kiin and Ariana. I thoroughly enjoyed the story. I thought the Characters were well developed and I found myself rooting for them as they plotted their way about the city. Christensen ties up the arc pretty well but does leave room for a sequel which I will be waiting pins and needles for. I acknowledge this review is extremely subjective, the book is not without its flaws but I rate books on how much I personally enjoyed reading the story, and without a doubt I enjoyed the adventure.
