Was this book perfect? No. But that's what I liked so much! I've done it for 15 years and let me tell you, while it's definitely my own little romance story, there's no HEA without issues. That's what this story is about. A lot of feelings come out in this tale and not all of it is wrapped in a pretty package. The plot was interesting and real. The characters are flawed but relatable. They have depth and even after two additional books and several years together they still have growth and lessons to learn. The message I got from this is that no matter how much time passes, you can't take your partner for granted and you have to continue to work towards maintaining your relationship. It's easy to get comfortable and lose sight of that. I will admit to being pretty pissed at Shaw a few times in the beginning and a little surprised by Cassidy's actions in the end but I enjoyed this ride because the author stayed true to who they are as individuals. These two have such great chemistry and trust me: that is not lost in this book (well... once they work through their initial problems lol). All in all an excellent series from beginning to end and it's bittersweet to see it come to a close. Safety: No OW/OM/Sharing, though there is a bit of voyeurism in this one. No rape/abuse.

Ah finally. The journey of Shaw and Cassidy coming to the end with a very big fat HEA. Like many real life couple, Shaw and Cassidy encounter couple issues. Parenting, balance between job and family, being good enough. And sometimes a vulnerability toward their own future.
Along the ways comes help. They are surranded by people who help them see and realize what is important. I do love how Miss Parker balance out the needs of family and commitment for work. I also lpve how Shaw finnaly be the man he destined to be and Cassidy to ne free of her own judgement.
They are a very dynamic and competitive couple. And this book is I love the most in this series. It is a very perfect ending.

Great ending to the series. We open 7 months after the end of book 2, and little bundle of joy being born. Then three years later where has all the passion gone...just like normal life they have to fight to get back to where they first fall in love. They do it with the help of amazing friends (who have all hooked up with each other between the books, and we don't get to see the HEAs happen) and two professionals (one is hilarious and the other is a like a domme). Overall job well done with an amazing HEA for Cassidy and Shaw and friends.

I'll admit I really struggled with this one; while I loved the first two books in the series I felt as if this final installment destroyed the happily ever after we were left with in Getting Rough. Yes, I am aware that real life relationships require work BUT I want the warm and fuzzies in my fiction not to be slapped in the face with reality :P I hate it when authors mess with the happily ever afters of my favourite couples :(
Shaw and Cassidy have lost themselves along the path of parenthood and in doing so have lost the passion within their relationship. I detested the references to their relationship being solely based on the physical. Don't get me wrong it is an important part of a relationship BUT in this instance it seemed as if it was the foundation rather than an extension of their feelings for each other.
Cassidy was uncomfortable relatable to any mother, the feeling that you take a back seat in your own life, although necessary it is jarring to be aware that your own needs are not as important as the little person you created. Especially so when you have a partner that remains in the same route as they did before becoming a parent. To be honest I resented the hell out of Shaw in this story, I felt as if he had regressed significantly to the man we left at the end of Getting Rough. While he is now in touch with his feelings and open about his love for Cassidy, his actions do not back up his sentiments. Although his drive to provide for his family is understandable considering his upbringing it did little to alleviate the negativity I felt towards him breaking his promise of spending time with his family and putting them first. It was difficult for me to separate my own experiences with my ex-husband and his terrible parenting skills, so I will admit I may be a little more prejudice where Shaw is concerned than the average reader.
While I liked the idea of relationship counselling to help steer Cassidy and Shaw back onto the right track, the sex therapy felt skeevy. It was at this point I started skimming trying to re-establish my connections to the characters as it became increasingly obvious my previous connection has been obliterated.
Coming Clean is painfully realistic in the way it shows how life can alter your identity and your relationships. Real life relationships require work and effort on both sides in order to succeed, being true to yourself and not settling for anything less than you deserve is the foundation of this finale.

This is the 3rd book in this series that follows the unexpected romance between rivaling sports agents, Shaw Mathews and Cassidy Whalen. This books follows the couple sometime later when Shaw and Cassidy become parents, with Shaw being the main bread winner of the house he feels pressured to give his family the security that he never had, and now that Cassidy is a stay at home mom she is feeling that they have lost the spark in their relationship, so they embark on a journey to reignite the passion and try to save their relationship with the help of an unconventional sex therapist. Loved it, love the characters and the story line is funny and engaging, and the sex will just blow you away. I would have liked to have seen how they dealt with Cassidy's pregnancy but all over I really enjoyed this series.

I remember Cassidy and Shaw fondly from the first installment of their story. Sadly I missed the second but when I saw the conclusion was being published, I had to review it.
I have to say, I did not enjoy the beginning of this book. I hate reading about discord and unhappiness and I was seriously considering stopping. However, I figured that the author had to have something good up her sleeve and I was not wrong.
This book started getting good about mid way through and by around the 3/4 mark, it was really hot. Just like the old Cassidy and Shaw! So good!
The ending is a bit predictable and the HEA is great. Overall an engrossing, steamy read with the type of closure in a series that is so worth the wait.

Following Playing Dirty and Getting Rough, Coming Clean is the very fitting conclusion to C.L. Parker's brilliant Monkey Business trilogy. If you haven't read book 1 or 2 yet and plan to do so in the future, you may want to stop reading now.
This one is the story after the happy end. Continuing seven months after the end of Getting Rough and then jumping ahead three years, we catch up with Shaw and Cassidy as they go through the motions of a relationship that has lost its passion and has instead become firmly focused on being doting parents and busy providers of financial security. Everyday life has taken its toll. While more serious in nature than the first two books, there was still plenty of humor and steamy sex in this installment. C.L. Parker skillfully combined reality many readers will be able to identify with, with some rather unorthodox and fun therapy sessions resulting in a very entertaining and suitable conclusion to this series. I've become quite fond of Cassidy and Shaw, their family and circle of friends. The characters were well-drawn, relatable, and likable. While this one wasn't my favorite book out of the three, I have thoroughly enjoyed the entire series and look forward to reading more by Ms. Parker in the future.

Huge disappointment.
The whole sex therapy thing was over the top and ridiculous and felt just plain sleazy and stupid. I absolutely hated their 'therapist', her meddling and the way Shaw and especially Cassidy practically fell over each other trying to please her.
There was also not much of a story beside the sex - and that bit of story that did exist was completely predictable.
So like I said, huge disappointment and absolutely not what I wanted from this final installment.

Book Review: 6 real stars!!
The conclusion of Cassidy and Shaw’s love is finally here. And it couldn’t be more perfect! From the first moment I got on with it, I instantly understood CL’s claims of this book being a more “real” one.
She was all I’d ever want.
Coming Clean is the third and last installment in Monkey Business Trio series and the finale in Cassidy Whalen and Shaw Matthews story. And what a story was it! In Playing Dirty, we were introduced to these super-duber passionate characters and saw first hand their throat-to-throat war over the partnership they both desired like mad. After, in Getting Rough, we saw Shaw follow Cass at her hometown intending to ask explanations of what she did, but he ended up find his light again and find his soulmate in her. And now, in Coming Clean, we get to see how going through the motions of the every day life, the routine and parenthood have made them lose sight of their love’s first foundations.
Chapter by chapter, CL took me into a very special journey allowing me to witness what made Cass and Shaw tick as a couple. And more accurately, a 21st century every day couple. As every relationship in the real world, so this one has to face problems such as the crazy ours of work, the exhaustion, the loss of the initial passion, the routine plus the baggage each fictional character has to have and the care of a kid. But what made this book even more unique and unacceptable to miss is the fact that everything lies with how they choose to deal with their problems and how hard are they willing to fight so to not lose the things that matter more to them; their family. Although, “give up” is an action unknown to them and the only thing neither of them can do so they get into the relationship-coach road. And THAT’S where a mix of emotions and faces made me undone.
Failure had never been an option for me, and it sure as shit wouldn’t be now.
For those who know what I’m talking about, I have to say 1 name; Dr. Katya. For those who don’t, this is the final push to start reading the book/series. So, back to Katya! I know I can’t say a lot from not wanting to spoil such an outstanding character, but DAMN. THAT. WOMAN!!! It was like she burn my mind and my being to the ground and rebuilt it with her own foundations, making me a whole new person and rethinking some things. As for her assignments? I guess I will follow her “suggestions” into the real life concerning any problems in my relationships. Because, once you read them, you can’t walk away and leave them inside this book’s pages.

This was one of the few times, if not the first, I actually cried while reading a couple’s fight. It just had that “something” and a certain desperation that pierced my heart and affected me deeply. It was just so real and devastating to see these lovers going through that that the tears couldn’t be hold back. And that happened every time I stumbled on a difficult moment for their relationship. Knowing them for two books in a row for their seizing passion, their inner strength and fight and now watching all these bad feelings life threw on them was a bit hard for me. But, if I sit and see it from every angle, maybe what happens in the third book was the key and the push they needed to overcome and deal with their issues both individually and together so they can have their very HEA in the end which they more than deserved.
My gaze never left hers and a single thought ran through my mind with utter clarity. This is where I belong.
My dearest CL Parker did once again magic, creating the finale every couple, fictional or not, want. She not only got to transport her heroes from the pages of a book into real life, but also added elements that characterize a today’s couples. Also, I got the feeling, especially in the end, that she was adding a part of her own life; but it may be my idea. Who knows? Although, no one can denies her talent on sucking you deep with her amazing stories. And I only wish her the best and to surprise us at some point with a story that will not only blown my mind off but also everything about and on me (you know what I’m talking about, my dear CL ;) )

This is my first book from this author and it is 3 book in series Monkey Business Trio
I just couldn't put his book down and it was different from other books and I like that.
Story was great and I was crying in some parts.I liked Cassidy - she is such good charachter,strong and independent women! And there were parts where I didn't like Shaw but at the end you can really see what great guy/husband and father he is! Overall amazing story

I have Loved, Loved, Loved this trilogy! Not one book was a disappointment at all, and this one was even better then the other two...if that is even possible.
We pick up roughly seven months after Getting Rough ended with the birth of Shaw and Cassidy's son Abe. It was definitely fun to see Shaw freak out while Cass was in labor.
Shaw and Cassidy love each other there's no question about that but it seems like their life has done a complete 180 since they had their son three years earlier its sad to say but the passion is no longer there. Rather than let their love for one another fizzle away Cassidy insists they see a relationship coach. A therapist that isn't a therapist, a relationship coach, and the love and support of their friends will help them through this difficult patch they are having.
There is also something big going down at Striker Sports Entertainment, we know that in the first book Playing Dirty Monty was retiring and that is when Cassidy and Shaw were in competition to make partnership at SSE, now it seems that Wade is ready to retire and that leaves a HUGE unknown to Shaw...will he be out of a job with SSE closing?....will someone be named partner?...will he have any say over who it is?...yep tons of questions and only one way to find out the answers to them, yep you got it - you need to read this book!!!
Although we don't get to see each of the friends pairing up in their own books we do get a HEA or HFN for each of them, Denver & Quinn, Landon & Sasha, Chaz & Demi, as well as Casey & Mia.
This has been a great trio of books but remember they MUST be read in order, they are not to meant to be read any other way. Happy Reading!

Loved this!! What a great way to close out the trilogy. This the third book in the trilogy that chronicles the journey of the relationship between Cassidy Whalen and Shaw Matthews and I recommend that you read all three in order.
This book picks up 3 years after Getting Rough. Shaw and Cassidy are still together but life is not as wonderful as they know it should be. All Cassidy knows is that she can no longer live this way. She would rather live without Shaw than with him without the passion and fun they used to share. Getting back to what they once had won't be easy but some things are worth fighting for!
This is a great, fun series that I would definitely recommend to everyone.

I received this from a giveaway on goodreads.
Because I won this, I had to go back and buy book one and two of this trilogy so I knew the whole story. I feel in love with book one, book two was good and this one was just okay.
I did not like how it skipped three years between books two and three. I missed the fire and the heat between these two. I just thought it lost the essence of who the two are..
Also, I was getting to the point in the beginning of the book, where I was just feed up with Shaw. Almost to the point where I didn't like him. I don't like that. Isn't the point of romance to fall in love with hero as the heroine does?

The last book is relationship book, not romance book, telling us even a couple, married, we do have our character to keep. Career, life, friends, hobbies. When honey become mommy, daddy, it hurts.

We all remember how the last book ended, right?
Cassidy and Shaw got their Happy End in Maine and Cass ended up pregnant.
Fast forward a few months, we hear a bit about how Shaw is very excited and afraid to become a dad. And how much he loves Cassidy et cetera.
Fast forward three years and we should see a very happy family...
Baby Abe is now a really cute and smart and handsome mini-Shaw toddler.
Cass is a stay-at-home mom and Shaw is still busy being the best sports agent the world has ever seen.
But all his meetings and travels and having to be there for his clients 24/7 is really taking a toll on the young family.
Cassidy's about had it with him.
She wants Shaw to be home with her and Abe more often. She wants their romantic sexy times back.
Ultimatum time. Either Shaw agrees to couples couseling or she'll take Abe to stay with her parents on the east coast.
Of course Shaw will do anything to save his family...
But someone telling Shaw what to do in the bedroom???

There's this really sad mood in the beginning.
Cassidy is not happy in the relationship. Shaw is way too busy with work to enjoy his family.
But once the therapists start suggesting things, especially sexy things. The fun starts again. ☺
This third book was really verrrry sexy!
It was fun to watch Shaw & Cass find their way back to what they once had.
I loved the way Shaw was with his son, only we didn't get to see enough of it, because he was constantly working :/ And then they had to send the baby to live with the grandparents for a while. Sex therapy at home = grandparent-vacation for Abe! ☺
I really enjoyed the book. The sex therapist was a bit too scary for my tastes, but pffff - it worked!
And I especially loved how it all turned out for them in the end. ☺☺☺

First off the three star rating is mostly my fault its a four star read but I've missed out on the previous books so there's some history here that I've missed out on because this book seems to pick off where the last one left off.
This left me feeling as if I was missing some vital bits and pieces that sort of fit into the story and characters and where they are in this installment. Since I lean so heavily on characters carrying the story I appreciated that despite the conflicts our h/h are facing they don't just throw their hands up and call it quits.
This allowed me to invest in the characters Cassidy and Shaw more. I appreciated that Parker understood and included some reality in this installment and it was interesting to see how they work through their issues together. Not everything is always perfect and movie film romantic at all times for the rest of their lives.
There are struggles and pains to deal with both separately and together as individuals and spouses and parents. Its a rather good read I just need to pick up the previous books so that I can get a fuller more complete understanding of this series.

First off the three star rating is mostly my fault its a four star read but I've missed out on the previous books so there's some history here that I've missed out on because this book seems to pick off where the last one left off.

My Thoughts
we find ourselves in a completely different time and place in the lives of Shaw and Cassidy and it's a bit surprising to see the leap that our author has taken here. Where things were finally beginning to settle, along with the nice surprise of a pregnancy, you'd think that we'd just jump right into the happy couple with their new baby and their amazing agent careers. Well, that's not what we get.
I think that we've now fast forwarded 3-4 years into the future and the life that they were living is so so different than the life that they have now. Cassidy has become a stay at home mom since she knew that being an agent would take her away from her baby too much and she wasn't happy about that. Then there's Shaw who's been made partner, and well life has gotten to be even more hectic. With all that, you know that there's going to be a lot of struggle, and that's exactly where we are.
They are so far on the outs, that i don't know that it's even possible for them to get back to a happy place. Shaw works so much that Cassidy feels neglected and has even packed her bags to go back to Stonington since there's no reason for her to stay in San Diego with him. That prompts the biggest hail marry ever and we end up seeing their fight throughout couples therapy.
We can all imagine that it's going to be a mess since Shaw is so self assured that he's not going to welcome it, and he doesn't. Every step forward they take, they take 2 steps back and it's an uphill battle that really doesn't seem likely to get better. They are even sent to an unorthodox therapist to work on their relationship and it's there that they finally begin to make headway, but to be honest, it's too little too late.
That's the story that we have here - one that shows how there was nothing solid for their relationship to be built on and that's what causes it to fail.
I have to say that i'm kind of baffled where this story took us. We only have glimpses of some of the characters and plot lines that made the other 2 installments good - but it was almost as like this was written in such a detached style that it wasn't necessarily by CL Parker. There were some really hot scenes that were like what others we've read, but i think that there was something different and in my opinion a bit off going on. I don't know.
At least what we have here is closure - we get an epilogue that shows us where the supporting characters left off along as where Shaw's life and Cassidy's life go now that things have settled. So, i'd say read it, and i'd love to hear what you guys think, since i'm on the fence.

4.5 Stars!
I barely got to 20% of the second book and I put it aside because it was not engaging enough. I went back to the beginning and I just could not stand these characters, so when I got this installment I was not holding out hope that it would be any different, but to my surprise it was and I loved it! Maybe because the message in this book resonates with me. It's not smooth or lighthearted, but is sometimes entertaining and laugh out loud funny and sometimes makes you think. It's like a handy guide on how to make your relationship work, if a handy guide came in over 200 pages.
Riding off into the sunset with your Prince Charming is not the end, like the movies would have you believe. If anything, it's actually the beginning. And for woman like Cassidy who fought for her success in a male-dominated field, being relegated to being a mom without Shaw's support is hard but she loves him and she's smart enough to know that they need the help of a professional to find their way back to each other.
For Shaw, not so much. He's got the woman and the kid, now he has to work to provide for them, something his deadbeat parents never did for him. In the process though, he's neglected the ones he's working so hard for and just like a typical male, does not think he needs any help. But he's willing to play along, especially when some of their assignments are of the sexual variety.
This is romance but it's also real life and any couple who wants to have it all and has struggled to balance work, family and a relationship has walked this path at some point in their life together. Shaw dealing with his past and getting rid of baggage that weighed down their relationship, both of them remaining open to each other and Cassidy reconnecting with herself and what made her tick were some of the things they needed to do, to re-ignite the spark between them and keep the magic between them alive.
I never, ever recommend reading a series from the end but with this series, I did just that and it made me see Cassidy and Shaw in a new light. I enjoyed them so much, their determination to make their relationship work and how far they were willing to go that now I'm ready to try the previous two books again.

Coming is a steamy and heartwarming conclusion to the Monkey Business Trio. What a conclusion indeed. I did not expect the book to be so emotional and raw but a also show different dynamic and build in the story. I have been a massive fan of this series when I started reading the first book last year and I am so happy with the way it ended. It was perfect ending to series that had my heart pumping and my eyes glued to it. I am always sad when I finish a series hat made long lasting impression on me and sometimes it is hard to let go. C.L. Parker really did a tremendous job in giving me series I just could not help falling love with.
Coming Clean continues with the story of Cassidy and Shaw. At first, I had thought that the story had ended in book 2 but I was mistaken because in Coming Clean, there was a clear story of what happens to a couple as they navigate through their lives together. It was definitely purely depicted. I loved that this book showed that couples do have problems even after they get their happily ever after. What the author was able to catch on was purely genius. Coming Clean had so much emotion pouring out. It was even better than book 1 and book 2 in terms of emotion because I was able to really moved by the story. That is the beauty of it that a story is able to move me like no other. It truly brought out the feels that I was actually shocked by it. Not only was it emotional but there were so many hot scenes that made my ovaries explode. Yep, they wanted to combust. LOL. I mean HOLY SMOKES, the sex scenes were hot. So hot that I had that there were EPIC LOL. Yes. Coming Clean was truly different and I loved it. It brought the swoon, the sexiness, the laughter, the emotion and also about surviving as a couple. IT WAS TRULY BEAUTIFUL.
I loved Cassidy and Shaw. Never have I ever had a couple I was cheering on more. There had so much chemistry that made Coming Clean very enjoyable. Both of them were dynamic characters that brought the story to live and I was so happy that I was able to follow their story from book 1 and see their happily ever after. It makes you feel so warm and fuzzy inside. All couples have challenges but I loved the strength that Cassidy and Shaw had through out their challenges.
Coming Clean was truly an amazing conclusion to the Monkey Business Trilogy and I am clearly going to miss it. It has become one of my favourite series.

Coming Clean is the third and final book in C.L. Parker's Monkey Business trilogy and, wow, this one was much darker than Books 1 and 2. It definitely took me by surprise since the first two books were filled with humor and light-hearted situations. This book tackled difficult life problems and set a different tone for the series. Although I would have liked the previous tone to have continued, I did appreciate the way the author was able to switch so effortlessly.
The naughty scenes were, indeed, very naughty and we did eventually get to a happy place that formed a perfect circle in the lives of our H and h. Overall, I loved the Monkey Business series. The characters were very well developed, the writing was impeccable, and the storyline was unique and intriguing. I'm absolutely looking forward to reading what Ms. Parker surprises us with next!

Received from NetGalley for a honest review. After the first book cliffhanger and the chase in the second book, I wasn't sure what to expect from Cassidy's & Shaw's story. What was left? The answer a lot! You know how we read romance books and the lead characters go back and forth fighting and running away from each other. Well, this is what happens after the HEA.
Shaw has everything he thought he wouldn't have and is doing everything he thinks he should be doing to keep his family happy. Cassidy is doing what she felt was right for her love ones but forgot about what she needed to be happy. She knows things need to change for everything to work out. For Cassidy & Shaw that means tackling all those problems, arguments and unsolved issues that they had in the first two books. (This includes some interesting therapy.)
Great conclusion!

Soldiered on to finish this book.
Cannot say that I had any enjoyment from same.
My opinion is that this series should have been a duet and not a trilogy.The first two books are recommended and the second book has an ending that doesn't need to be followed up.
This book has arguments , unhappy main characters, marriage counselling and a sex therapist.
Of course it also has a happily ever after with everyone's stories neatly tied up from 95% onwards.

This was a fantastic conclusion to the series. Ms. Parker takes you on an emotional ride. The blatant raw emotion pulls you in and you can't look away. It's a series worth reading.

Although I have not read the first 2 books in this trio, I was able to read, and appreciate, this one for what it was: one couple's emotional, erotic journey back to each other. Cassidy is now a stay-at-home mother of 3 year old Abe and Shaw is the provider, the one who is gone all the time working. They've lost their connection with each other and Cassidy is on the verge of walking away. It was a little heartbreaking reading of her pain as she lost both herself and Shaw a little bit more each day. Thank God he walked in on her packing for her getaway and she was able to give him the ultimatum they needed: go to couples' counseling with her or she was leaving.
Shaw, as I imagine most men, did not take to counseling well at first. It wasn't until their unconventional, rather adorable therapist suggested another unconventional, but not quite a real therapist, to aid them in their quest for healing, that Shaw was able to get into the idea of help. Of course, that was because it was a sex therapist they would be seeing. And damn, does this not a real therapist help them. Help them right into the most erotic experiences of their lives. Not only do they get to experience unthinkably hot sex, but more importantly, she helps them get back that intimate connection that they apparently shared from the very beginning.
I think what I love most about Coming Clean is the realistic approach Parker took. We've all experienced the dimming of the honeymoon phase of our relationships. It's never pretty, and it always hurts. Every pain, every tear shed, every bit of anger and hurtful word Cassidy and Shaw threw at each other is so authentic that I felt as if I were right there in the room experiencing it all with them. And then there's the ending, I absolutely love it! Sweet and with all the right people there with them.
I am now going back to read the first 2 books in this series because I absolutely love Coming Clean. It gets 5 sexy, emotional stars!

Coming Clean focuses on the post baby glow and excitement of Shaw and Cassidy’s relationship. At this point, Cassidy is still not working and has devoted her time to their son. Shaw on the other hand, is working very hard to prove that he deserve his job which he and Cassidy were fighting for to begin with. Unfortunately, his hard work has taken a toll. Lack of time with the family became frequent and the spark in their relationship has dimmed quite a bit putting what they worked for in jeopardy.
I just love how Ms. Parker ended this trilogy. She showed that happy ever afters doesn’t necessarily end at just getting the girl. No. Successful relationships take a lot of hard work and Shaw and Cassidy finds this out quick. Parker did an awesome job showing their struggles are as real as mine. I felt their pain. Parker also put a bit more heat in this installment. Definitely hotter than the previous book.
Cassidy’s character was consistent from the beginning. Even now that her role has changed, she is still very strong and independent. Shaw, well, is still very rough around the edges. And he showed a typical career oriented dad who can be oblivious about relationship issues. But he still is very sweet and thinks the world of Cassidy and his son. Their way of working things out is a little unorthodox, but the strong characters that they are, they pull through.
I cried, laughed, was hot and bothered, and I loved every bit of this installment. I couldn’t ask for a better ending to this trilogy. Kudos to a job well done, Ms Parker

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads, so here is my review.
Cassidy and Shaw are living the dream or so you would think. While Shaw is working as the top sports agent in the county, Cassidy is home raising their son. She feels as if he doesn't have time for them, and he doesn't see things that way. He is the provider and working is how he can do that. Cassidy thinks that maybe they need help by talking to an outsider. Shaw doesn't think that they are having any problems and talking to anyone will is the answer.
Shaw is fighting to keep his professional life going and wondering why Cassidy thinks they are having problems. So he will go to the relationship coach, but only for Cassidy. This was the perfect ending to a great series. I loved how it showed that not all relationships are sunshine and rainbows. Shaw and Cassidy will go through pain and heartache and needed the help of an outsider to help with some issues that both were not seeing. I hope there might be more of their friends but if not then that will be OK too.
Cassidy and Shaw are living the dream or so you would think. While Shaw is working as the top sports agent in the county, Cassidy is home raising their son. She feels as if he doesn't have time for them, and he doesn't see things that way. He is the provider and working is how he can do that. Cassidy thinks that maybe they need help by talking to an outsider. Shaw doesn't think that they are having any problems and talking to anyone will is the answer.
Shaw is fighting to keep his professional life going and wondering why Cassidy thinks they are having problems. So he will go to the relationship coach, but only for Cassidy. This is the concluding book to the trilogy - and it is great! You definitely need to read the previous books to get the story - and I would recommend them to you - they are both good reads too. My review assumes that you are up to date...
Whilst book one was all about the race to the partnership, and book two was all about them getting together and finding out they were going to be parents, book three is all about them getting to know each other - ie coming clean! It is a really clever way to tell their story, and the use of a couples therapist and the rather wonderful Katya, to get them in the right place is fabulous. I really felt that Ms Parker did a brilliant job of making the situation real - I would imagine every mother (and possibly many fathers) could read this and absolutely empathise with their lives as new parents and partners. It brought back some of the fun characters from previous books and gave us their news and views on the current state of affairs between Shawn and Cassidy. And the work situation that started it all is also a key player in a story. All in all, there is a lot packed into this book, which will satisfy even the most diehard romantic.
This is a trilogy that has made it to my re-read list, and I plan on reading again, all in one go - because inevitably I had forgotten some of the nuance, and because it is a fun and fulfilling story.

Cassidy and Shaw were once bitter rivals. Over time they became sexy lovers who still fought like crazy. Now they are expecting a kid.
I honestly though this series could have been completed in a duology before I got to the end of book 2. Because I really liked Shaw and Cassidy I was happy they had a continuation to their story and couldn’t wait to read what was to come next.
This was for sure different. Cassidy and Shaw are deep into their relationship and now have a little boy to add to their family. Things don’t stay nice and content long. Cass and Shaw are like any other couple still, they have major issues. I was very nervous from the prologue and then super annoyed a coupled of chapters later. I was cheering on whatever decision Cass was ready to make because man was Shaw frustrating. I loved the way Parker showed them being strong and working through everything after so much hesitation from Shaw. This was some real nitty gritty that after the frustration I couldn’t wait to see where things would go. There are still some hot moments that rival book 1 but also more.
I don’t normally like couples to go through so much after I feel like they have had enough but this was a good story that I truly appreciated.

Thoughts: I loved the fact that this story was about how once you find "the one" that there's still work that needs to be done on the relationship. It still has the HEA but it wasn't just the journey of falling in love but the choosing to grow and change to keep that love. Most stories don't get into the reality of keeping a relationship going and I almost felt like I was reading about my relationship with my hubby. We love each other but even after 20 years we still have past baggage that sometimes clouds our vision causing a rift. If you want to have a closer look at what happens in a relationship years after the honeymoon period then this is the trilogy for you!

I'm sad to see Shaw and Cass's journey end. It's like losing a friend. Having watched this couple go from enemies, to rivals, to lovers and now parents leaves me with a bittersweet feeling. Coming Clean is the powerful conclusion to a rocky and driven love story. Along the way Shaw has exposed more of his tragic past and become a little more open but his heartbreaking past is never far from his mind and remains a barrier to his future with Cass and his son. Falling in love was never the plan for Cass. Her fast paced career was well on it's way to the top when her emotions won out. She's sacrificed much and wants more than a distant lover and a brain full of what is. C.L. Parker, has written a story that is more mature than the others in the Monkey Business Trio series. Coming Clean is about setting priorities and discovering what's important before it's too late.
