As Jess deals with the repercussions of Ravan’s latest earth-shattering actions, she soon realizes that not everything is as it seems. Being surrounded by the enemy on all sides, Jess quickly learns who has her back and who wants to stab it. Once she’s able to carry on with her God given mission, the stakes rise to monstrous proportions for Jess and the other vessels, forcing them to place their lives on the line for a world that is not their own. As events unfold, even Lucifer finds life on alternate Earth not nearly as entertaining as he thought it would be. His disappointment in Lucian’s plan grows exponentially with each catastrophe the princes of Hell unleash. Jess maintains her hope for Lucifer’s soul, however futile, as she witnesses his unease with the happenings on alternate Earth. Even though he professes to hate humanity, Jess sees a glimmer of hope for her friend and refuses to give up on saving his soul. God obviously has His reasons for wanting to protect this particular reality, and even though alternate Earth isn’t their home, Jess and her friends know they must do everything within their power to save it.

Once upon a time, a little girl was born on a cold winter morning in the heart of Seoul, Korea. She was brought to America by her parents and raised in the Deep South where the words ma'am and y'all became an integrated part of her lexicon. She wrote her first novel at the age of eight and continued writing on and off during her teenage years. In college she studied biology and chemistry and finally combined the two by earning a master's degree in biochemistry. After that she moved to Yankee land where she lived for four years working in a laboratory at Cornell University. Homesickness and snow aversion forced her back South where she lives in the land which spawned Elvis Presley, Oprah Winfrey, John Grisham and B.B. King. After finding her Prince Charming, she gave birth to a wondrous gift named Caylin and they all lived happily ever after.

The second book to the Harvester of Light trilogy will be available for purchase no later than December 2012.

Judgment begins moments after the cliffhanger at the end of Uprising (Book #2). Jess finds herself bereft of all her memories, and is told she is a friend to Lucian. Despite her suspicions that Lucian is hiding something, she does not see an out for herself.

This is where the book begins. Then, West provides action, adventure, and life-threatening confrontations. These plot points are very exciting! The important take-away lesson revolves around working as a team… allowing each person to play the part God meant for them to play. There is also sacrifice, grief, and heartbreak. It is definitely a tear jerking storyline requiring some tissues at the ready.

West really delivers in this final installment of the Alternate Earth series. The book is so enchanting. It is one of those read straight through books: imaginative, creative, well-written and compelling. There were, however, a couple of unresolved questions. Hopefully there will be another series in the future that begins just after Alternate Earth ends.

Judgement is a great ending to a great series. 4 3/4 stars

This was a powerful emotional ride thru the last book of the series of Alternate earth. This book has so much emotion with the characters and the story line. Strong tearful moments thru out the book but i found moments of humor with.. of all characters ...Lucifer! I loved it. this book was beautifully written for those of us who have emotionally attached ourselves to these characters,. for those of you who have yet to read it do yourself a favor and open the first book in the series , i promise you wont stop there , you will find yourself all to soon at the last page of book 3. I feel contentment in how .S. J. West ended alternate earth, perfect! I loved every emotion every character and their adventure to get back home to their families and friends if they can save alternate earth first......

Stunning

Get ready for a big fat ugly cry... The wrap up for the Alternate Earth Series was just stunning. Having read the whole series of Watchers books, this was by far the best yet. No spoilers but the story will rip your heart out and leave you with more questions than answers. Jess and Masons story is beautifully written and well thought out. I'm not normally a huge fan of books with the God factor played in. But Sandra manages to tactfully and tastefully weave this tale without shoving it in your face. Stoked for the Dominion series and Mae and Tristan's story.

**********Contains Spoilers**********

This was the best book of the Alternate Earth Series. This book starts where the last book concluded. Ravan aka Lilith tried to phase Jess into Heaven where she opened the sixth seal making Heaven silent for 30 minutes, cutting off Heaven from alternate earth forever how long since time moves completely different in Heaven and Jess has lost her memories because of this as she’s looking around she spots a man, it’s Lucien who tells her that they’re friends, that his name is Lucien and he tells her that they’re going to a party and phases her away but some part of her subconscious is telling her that even though Lucien tells her that they’re friends but it’s telling her to be wary of him as something isn’t right. I’m not sure if it’s Michael and something happened to their connection since she’s currently got amnesia. They arrive at the party and Jess notices that the quest of honour Malcolm spots her and his expression drops for a split second but it was that quick that she may have imaged it. It isn’t until Lucien is dancing with Jess which she feels really uncomfortable with how close their hips are that Malcolm cuts in and she finds out that they know each other and that when the action happens, meaning her husband and her friends are planning to come at the party full force to rescue her and that she should stand behind him and let it play out. She can’t remember her own name let alone her husband but when she lays eyes on one of her rescuers, he just seems that much more and that there’s something special about him so he has to be her husband. I loved how thoughtful Mason was when Michael suggested that they get some “matches”, he knew how uncomfortable Jess would be since she has no memories of him so he decides to collect their friends phones to show Jess their photos and videos that may help Jess unblock her memories. Man, time is ticking for Jess, Mason, the Vessels and the Watchers to find a way to stop Lucien and the Princes from sounding the final two trumpets to bring on the apocalypse to alternate earth. It’s an uphill battle and they start to wonder if they’ll make it back home before it’s too late. Be warned that a massive sacrifice in order to save alternate earth and to make it back home, which had me crying one moment and smiling the next so it was definitely an emotional rollercoaster. I enjoyed the wee teasers of possible future storylines for the Watchers Universe during the last couple of chapters of this book. I’m really looking forward to reading Mae and Tristan’s story next so I can see if Tristan has found a way to save his younger brother Jasper from their father’s clutches. definitely recommend this book, series, universe and author to everyone.

This book was bitter sweet for me. It was a pivotal point/time in this series where it was ending, and I would mourn the lost deeply. I have been a fan of this book series since discovering the author in 2015. I've been emotionally invested with each step of this journey, book by book, series by series. This book wasn't yet published after I had read up to this point, so I put the series down and waited. But this continuing story has a special place in my heart/soul, so I knew without a doubt I would return.

I have re-read the books before this one a few times: and before I decided to finally return to read this one, I once again went back to the first books (The Watchers Trilogy, and re-read enjoying the journey through each book series after that, including The Watcher Chronicles, Caylin's Story, The Alternate Earth Series, that this book is its conclusion), the characters, their lives and existence to this point; and I was drawn in, becoming intricately woven into their reality once again. It was like experiencing everything for the first time, and at the same time, it was like I was coming home.

I LOVE the way this author brings her characters to life and gives each individual character a full existence. She is absolutely brilliant in the way she creates her story as a whole but branches out with personal support and discoveries for every character, and just when you think things are finished, or wonder to yourself "I would love to know what transpired in that situation, or how that character would have progressed": she comes out with a side story about the characters to bring you further into their reality. The AMAZING thing is that even the side stories are intricately woven and detailed to flow effortlessly within the main book series so that you truly feel like you are living and breathing within their realities. I'm just happy that I am BLESSED to have the opportunity and privilege of this author and her artistic creative writings, forever a part of my knowing: and that this story, these characters, their journey continues through a few more books. I won't say until it ends because, for me, at least, them and their journey will never truly end.

I really enjoyed this series and thought the ending of this book was sad, but good. The way the characters developed throughout the story line was interesting as they were interacting with their counterparts. I do wish Lucifer would have been more involved, but I suppose his character was always showing up for brief moments. The Epilogue at the end really leaves you hanging and I am super excited to see what happens next, especially with Gods cryptic message, which is no surprise coming from Him.

The only downfall I found in this book was that sometimes it was hard to keep all the characters straight, since there are now two of each character (for the most part). It was helpful that Alternate Earth's Lucifer was changed to Lucian, so I could easily separate the two. However, I do feel like some of the side characters (Joshua, Slade, etc) were lost in the mix.

S.J. West truly writes great books, and has a vast imagination that really pours into his writing. I can't wait to see where this story takes me.

Review for Alternate Earth Books 1 to 3.

So, when it comes to these books I think they are well written and it was interesting seeing everyone's counterpart in the other world.

I liked seeing the continued relationship between Mason and Jess of course.
I'm glad I read it to find out that Lucifer made a deal with Jess to spend 1 hour with her on her bday and time with her on another day of the year.
I also like how we see that Jess's son baby Luke and Caylin's daughter Kate will be soul mates in the future.

In general, I did not care for the type of story as a whole. But, that is just MY option.
I loved the original Water's Trilogy, I loved The Watcher Chronicles more than I thought I would,I liked Caylin's story, and thought Sweet Devotion was nice.
The Alternate Earth series on the other hand did not just do it for me, and in the end I feel I could have skipped it, but I did find out things in this book that I think were intersting for the next part of the saga.

Triumph and tragedy

First let me say the more I read this series the more realize just how alike Malcolm and Lucifer are. It took love to help Malcolm and I hope someday Lucifer will get that too. Secondly, the sheer catastrophe of what occurs when alternate unearths Lucifer unleashes his hate, fury, and jealously on his planet had my heart beating wildly and my chest tight with anxiety. SJ's ability to weave a tale that evokes so much emotion is staggering. And lastly, the sacrifice that had to be made to save alternate earth broke my heart in both good and bad ways. There were times I wanted to throw my kindle across the room I was so frustrated and just wanted it to end. But I couldn't put it down until the story came to an end because you just have to know as soon as possible how it all ends.

Judgement ( The Alternative Earth Series, Book 3)

I couldn't put this book down at all today, I couldn't believe how they end up helping them fix the Alternative Earth!?!?! I cried, laughed, and experienced a lot of emotions with this series and am so grateful that S.J. West added it to her collection of books for this series!!! It sure made it come more alive ...
I cannot wait to read the next series in the collection of books called The Redemption series which starts with Malcom!!
I hope Malcom finally finds true love ❤️!!
Anyways, I definitely would recommend this whole series and make sure you read them in order or you will be really lost!!!
I hope you enjoy these books as much as I have !!

I love this series!

This was a beautiful yet tragic ending. Beautiful in the sense there was a happily ever after for some and they got to back home. Tragic because soo much devastion happened in alt Earth before things were resolved and in order to bring an end to the chaos a life was lost. Be prepared for so much chaos and devastation in alt Earth but Jess is a true badass especially when her and Leah join powers. Everyone really came together to save alt Earth. I love how the other vessels got to show their strenghts and use their powers to help in ways they never thought of. This was a great series, by far the most exciting series even if there was a lot of loss and tragedy.

ok, so my heart broke here. A death of a major character. Poor Jess is just trying to complete her mission in the Alternate earth with her husband and other vessels, she just wants to go home and carry on her normal life with her family. There are times it is doubtful anyone of them will live to go home at all. Jess is an awesome character. She is full of life, strong and will defend her friends to the world end if she has to.

This was a great end to Jess and Mason’s personal story. Yes they still show up in other books but not as the featured characters. So it was nice for them to get a happy ending. I really liked the trip to alternate earth and the new characters that were introduced. It was also nice to see some female watchers show up. I am ready for the next series.

Not an enjoyable read. Again I only read it because I want to read about Malcolm and Anna and don't want to miss anything significant that may happen on alternate earth. There appears little chance of anything significant happening. This series is about as dry as gray paint. Not even Lilith and Lucian can spice it up.

Amazing conclusion...

Words truly can not express how much I enjoyed reading the conclusion to this series. As usual West does it again, I am always amazed at the thought that is put into the plot and storyline because in the end it all comes together like a perfectly wrapped gift for readers to enjoy. Even though this is a work of fiction it reinforces my belief in God and that He has a plan for all of us. It may not be what we want it to be, but we have to have faith that He has everyone's best interest at heart.

I laughed and I cried and in the end I was left asking myself what would I sacrifice to save the world. I find that I can't wait to read what's next, as all the puzzle pieces begin to come together. There is not one thing I did not like about this series, it's just another piece of the puzzle that has fallen into place and I can't wait to unwrap the rest of the puzzle.

Great ending...

To an exceptional series. I have read every book in this "series". All the Watcher books and the Redemption books. All the extra add on books...I've read them ALL. I have loved every second of it. I can't wait to read the second series with Malcolm and Anna. I have no doubt they will be as exceptional as the rest of them have been. I recommend these books to everyone I know, and I will continue to do just that. These books have brought tears and laughs to my life. I have gotten lost in their story and have been transported to world's unknown. It's an amazing thing to find a book that can do just that. Praise to S.J. West and her remarkable skill at telling a story that grabs you and never lets go!

This is one of my favorite books out of all S.J West books. Just seeing Jess, Mason, her friends, and all the vessels go against the forces that they already had to go against in their own Earth, but just making the suspense much worst. Like when Jess got phased to heaven and she lost all of her memories leaving her weak to what the Alternative Lucifer said to her, tricking her to think he was her friend. But thanks to love her husband and her friends gave her, she remembers everything and with the help of her Earth Lucifer he helps fight the dark angels of the Alternative Earth. Helping Jess return back to her Earth with her family with her children waiting for her. Best Book Ever..

Can recommend a series, or rather several series that make up SJ West's genius. Between the Watcher's, Watcher Chronicles, Caylin's Story, Redemption and Alternate Earth series, I have fallen in love with every character. I have laughed, cried and help my breath until I turned the page throughout this series. I have to say SJ has leaped to be one of my favorite writers of all time. I can't wait for the Dominion Series to be done. I already have 'Awakening' pre-ordered.

I am a big fan of all of S.J. West's books but I have to say I was most excited for The Alternate Earth series. I was not disappointed, once again my favourite characters Malcolm, Jess and Mason proved why I love this series. The plot of the first 2 books in this series led nicely into this final book. Overall, I recommend this book, especially if you have enjoyed West's other Watchers series, you will love this one!!!

Another great addition to S.J. West's Watcher books!!! I can't get enough of this book series! The characters and fluidity of West's storytelling make these books so enjoyable and easy to read. Your heart will break over and over with both sadness and joy!!! I can't wait for the first book of her next Watch series, The Dominion series, Awakening!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

So many twists and rurns

This was another wonderful book about the Watchers. We find them on alternate earth, and it is in chaos! The Lucifer of this world Lucian is even worse then Lucifer. He is planning on destroying this world and the Watchers are determined to stop him.
This book is a great read, I couldn't put it down. Anxiously awaiting the next book!

Jess tries to regain her memories. All the vessels and the watchers band together to help her. They have to endure the results of the seals being opened and the trumpets being blown. Too big of a sacrifice has to be made and super sad. Absolutely enjoyed this book. Full video review on YouTube channel Adventures-IN-Print. https://youtu.be/bXutQ-ZF9qM
