HARRIS THORN... A BILLIONAIRE ROMANCE SERIES: BOOK 1
Harris Thorn is a twenty-seven year old billionaire playboy real estate mogul/entrepreneur living in L.A. He has it all. Beautiful mansion, several expensive sports cars, private butler, and a different woman in his bed every night. He came from humble beginnings and a troubled past to rise up to great heights and become a huge success. He has rewarded himself and taken plenty of time to indulge in a life of affluence, riches, and everything money can buy.
But there is one thing money hasn’t been able to buy for Harris: True Love. He has grown tired of sleeping with women who only want him for his money, fame, and status. He has never had the joy of being with a woman who truly wants and appreciates the real him. So Harris has decided to focus all of his time and energy into finding Mrs. Right. After a failed attempt at a relationship with a rising pop star, Harris decides to go undercover as an ordinary man. He has to see what is out there and he is determined to find the right woman who can accept him for who he is beneath all of the glamour of his billionaire existence. But what Harris isn’t ready for is the adventure of a lifetime. On his journey to find love he will have to face every single demon he has in the closet as well as harrowing adventures that will have him questioning everything about himself to find the perfect partner for life. And it will leave him asking the question: Is it really worth it?
I love the fact that Harris Thorn has decided to step out of his center stage, wealthy Life & revisit what being Normal is like again. I really love the fact that he, unlike so many Celebrities/Wealthy Individuals in our World, is all for finding a Down to Earth Girl, unfamiliar with the Glamorous Celebrity Lifestyle, instead of continuing to look for Love & Good People in all the wrong places... ie: His Social Circle. I truly believe if more Celebrities, Millionaires & Billionaires, tried on a Normal Person for size, as a Significant other, they'd be pleasantly surprised by how many of us actually exist, that would love them for who they are & not by how much money they have. They have no idea how much we could offer them, that they can't just buy or have their Assistants Buy for them.
I can't wait to read the 2nd Book!! Unfortunately, the Link for Signing up for the New Release Mailing List, to get the 2nd Book Free, wouldn't work. I hope it's fixed soon.
So far the story is pretty good. A super rich guy finds himself lonely and unable to find a suitable companion in his current circle of rich, famous, power and money hungry women. He decides to cancel all his meetings, buys a regular car and sets out on an adventure to find love as a "regular guy". Except I am not sure that he knows what a regular guy is...we'll have to wait and see in the next book.
Have a book stretched out over the length of a novel
This book is only half of the actual book. The second book is a part two. Which is ridiculous because there’s no end to this one it just stops in the middle of the book and then you have to get the part two. And this book was very drawn out, the main character was very egotistical, self centered, obnoxious.
He grew up poor, overcame his childhood and made himself into a billionaire. Now, he's bored with his life. He wants that one thing that is so hard to find. True love, someone who loves you for you, not what you can give or do for them.
It reads like some kind of drug induced nightmare. The fact that is a series of 6 books makes the story even more pitiful because of how long the author thought about it to write about it.
Hero is an alcoholic, druggie, billionaire who feels entitled and treats women terribly. Sleeps with women for sport and hires prostitutes who look like other women.
Undercover is a book that follows just the male’s perspective. There is not a good storyline, you think he’s going after one woman but that ends up being a dead end and he changes his mind every other page.
Harris is super rich has been looking for something and he is not sure yet what it. But his latest sleepover made him realize he needed something slower.
Another new author it kept me interested, don't usually read short stories well it went over quickly anyway,I think R.G.Winter is a author for the future,I would recommend this book
Honestly? I stopped believing the main character mid-way through, and I don't have the patience to read the rest of the series to find out if I may change my mind...
