The End (A Brit in the FBI, Book 3) by Catherine Coulter & J. T. Ellison | Summary & Analysis

Bestselling author Catherine Coulter teams up once again with fellow novelist JT Ellison for the third installment in their FBI thriller series. The latest caper involving FBI Special Agents Nicholas Drummond and Michaela Caine in their race against time to save the world from Islamic terrorism, high-profile assassinations, and bombs with the capability of destroying the western world with one massive explosion.

After following a possible bomb threat, FBI Special Agents Michaela “Mike” Caine and Nicholas Drummond find themselves at the scene of a massive oil refinery explosion, risking their own lives in the search and rescue effort. Up until this point, the group Celebrants of Earth (COE) had remained small scale, bombing only unoccupied oil refineries in their efforts to convince the United States to stop relying on Islamic oil supplies. But the fatalities that have resulted from this latest explosion have put COE on the map as a terrorist organization themselves and the special agents speculate a new player has entered the game.

This book is frighteningly good! The authors' theories on the Middle East seem spot on. Of course, it doesn't hurt that Nicholas Drummond and Michaela Caine are wicked smart and appealing. Coulter fans will love it.

Great great book -- I missed meals reading it. AND got up earlier than usual to read. Too wonderful -- two of my favorite authors co-writing. I'm in heaven.
