Claude Frédéric Bastiat (29 June 1801 – 24 December 1850) was a French classical liberal theorist, political economist, and member of the French assembly.
A very powerful book even more applicable today than 150 years ago when it was published. Frédéric Bastiat uses such simple language and logic to refute and destroy socialism and all of its evils, and to promote liberty as the only morally correct principle for society. I very highly recommend it.
