"You don't have to be human to need therapy."

All Skyla Wulf ever wanted to be was a psychologist…to humans. Unfortunately, the down-turned economy made therapy more of a luxury than a necessity to most humans these days. With her student loans racking up interest, she decided to take on clients that most of us would need a psychologist after seeing. Zombies, werewolves and gargoyles make fine clients. It’s the Fae she needs to watch out for.

The Dr. will see you now.

Reading and writing are my passions. I was extremely creative as a child, inventing my own worlds and languages with my very best friend. When I found books that could hold my interest I devoured them in a day and craved more. I've always been partial to fantasy or the paranormal but I love books that have some elements of humor and romance. You can't be too serious. Royal Affliction came from a dark time in my life when I needed an escape, and I created my own. I found that I what I had created was something my friends and family loved but I didn't quite have the writing skills at the time to put it on the market. I took classes and read books in my effort to make this book something I could be proud of. I worked hard to learn just what I needed to mold my work into something others would love. This series, created from my own darkness, has blossomed beautifully since that first draft seven years ago. I am still attending college. I achieved my Bachelor's degree in psychology with magna cum loude honors in June of 2015 and I am now working towards my Master's in mental health counseling degree for graduation in June of 2017.

I hope you enjoy this series, and I would love to hear from you, so my email is: Quartessa@hotmail.com.

My fantasy book series: The Anti-Princess Saga is about a woman of another species and her journey to find her place in either of the worlds she lives between. It is a tale of self-discovery, revenge, romance as well as humor. In my own way I blend her world into our own reality.

A true treat to read! From the opening paragraph, I was hooked and thrilled to be along for the ride. Dr. Skyla Wulf has very normal aspirations: to help people with their psychological dilemmas and make a living. In a recession, these apparently are both challenging goals, yet she succeeds...well sort of. She definitely helps people, but the bulk of her earning power is derived from "other-worldly" clientele. Her escapades dealing with paranormal personalities is hilarious and a welcome break from the mundane.
Bravo Jennifer Marsh! I won this book in a Goodreads giveaway and am SO happy I kept the envelope in which it arrived because it came directly from the creative author herself. Thank you, Jennifer for a fun-filled adventure that I know I'll be re-reading and sharing with my friends. Can't wait to read the next installment in the Dr. Wulf series!

Dr. Wulf's practice services human and paranormal clients, albeit with separate entrances, receptionists and waiting rooms. While the main story line encompasses the Fae clientele, the vignettes of her sessions with other paranormal are delightful. I am looking forward to the next title in this new series.

Funny, engaging

I enjoyed this book. I read it through in one sitting. It had its funny moments, but there were times I just wanted to smack Skyla because she gets inclined toward baditudes at the most inopportune moments. The secondary characters were utterly fantastic. The collection of 'friends' she acquires are fun and entertaining. The twists in the book were both surprising and unsurprising. You know the feeling, you expected something, but it turned into something else, and it made much more sense than what you expected: surprising and unsurprising. I'm not sure where the author goes from here because I liked Killian even though he was technically the antagonist. He had moment of assholeness, but being a jackass doesn't make someone unlikeable. So, wherever the author is going with him, I'm definitely sticking around the find out. Because. I. Liked. Him.

Faezed and Confused is a really cute paranormal book about a young psychologist who because of economy is forced to include clients that most humans do not even know live. Her clients inclue Zombies, gargoyles, werewolves, vampires and Fae. Things are going ok until she mistakenly says the wrong words to a Fae. Now she is being forced to do things she does not want to and learning a side of the Fae she would rather not know. Faezed and Confused is a clean book that everyone who likes paranormal will love.

This is totally unexpected, quite humorous, and thoroughly enjoyable. I knew the cover was cute but I never really expected what I would find between the pages. I am still not sure that her father is who they portrayed as her father. With the possibilities of shape shifters, I strongly felt that the shadow man was a contestant in that field and some people came totally out of left field. If you want to smile while you read, I can't recommend this book enough.

I won this book through Goodreads and really enjoyed it. It has some fun characters, but I wish the story had been a little less predictable. My fav scene in the book is the sandwich one that just killed me. I would recommend it if you want a fun and fast read and if you enjoy paranormal fiction. Thanks for the chance to meet a new author!

This book was great!

Being a professional therapist myself and a big reader of urban fantasy, i had to give this book a try! I'm glad I did because it's fabulous and has left me wanting more!
