This book was very insightful, as well as helpful to what I'm after. I always found that to get the most out of any new thing, you must not form opinions as you read, rather to allow yourself the benefit to reason at the end of the read. Late it soak in before closing it out while reading to get the most out of it.

Confused, entitled neo-pagan nonsense. This does not describe Haitian Vodou. My advice if you are genuinely seeking information on the subject is to ignore any book published in the last 20 years that still insists on using the derogatory and frankly racist term 'voodoo' throughout.
