An easy read with some niggles - namely the heroine is apparently dating some dude who is out of town for a family wedding but he's only mentioned in one throw-away sentence and never mentioned again. There's also what I felt like was a piling on of the hero's Survivor's Guilt baggage towards the end of the story.

Some dated 2001 pop culture references are probably to be expected but comparing the hunky hero to Mel Gibson was an unfortunate choice (the infamous traffic stop happened in 2006). Which would be why I'm not a fan of pop culture references in current fiction - it can go spectacularly wrong down the road.

Half-a-step below OK. Neither great nor dreadful.

Alurnya maju, perasaan yg dipaparkan cuma secukupnya aja. Walopun masih kok cuma segitu? Tp cukuplah utk buku tipis... :)
