***A beautiful, fun love story about an unlikely couple in the Napa Valley wine country. This is a short BWWM novel with NO cliffhanger, NO cheating and a HEA.***

I am on a Mia Caldwell kick right now, slowly reading as many of her books as I can. So far this story is my least favorite. I was worried that the story was only being told from the perspective of the h but eventually we hear from the H. It is a solid story...charming but not riveting....and for some reason it seemed dated.....like it was written in the 90s???
This heartfelt story kept me glued to the pages as I cheered for this couple to get their chance for a happily ever after. It is a well written story with dynamic characters that I enjoyed connecting with.
Yet another book that end at the 80% mark. However I actually enjoyed the first 30% of this book.. I actually laughed a little bit.
BUT it wasn't enough.. I didn't really feel a connection with the characters...and it felt like the author needed to find a reason for the wife to be a bad person.. so we wouldn't feel bad the quickness of the moving on period or maybe so the reader wouldn't like her at all of course she was the "villain"... in other words... it was predictable.
I would recommend book this book for someone who is taking a short trip and just need something simple to read.
There are a few errors in the book. But I found the story to be sweet all be it rather uneventful. This book stirred no emotions in me. Both main characters are very sweet and likeable. I guess I prefer more drama or action but if you like simple and sweet you may enjoy this book.
TOSS UP- I must say the best part about this book is the hero's POV chapters. If it weren't for those, I would have bailed early on. Predictable plot and ending. I struggled to finish it.
Love the characters, the story started off a little wordy but it started to pick up and get interesting. You get romance, intrigue and just a delightful read. Highly recommended for the romantic reader.
Another wonderful book by this author. I think I am hooked. It really gives me all I look for in this type of book. I think I will read it again in the near future.
This was a good read. We all deal with things in life that make us want to becomes a better person . This is a story about a young man who lost a wife.
It was not bad nor was it great. I am still in wonder of what makes a man hire a woman who does not know anything about children to be his child nanny.
