If the author took the time to add some depth to the story, to the characters, and more detail, turning this into a novel then they would have an amazing story on their hands. But since not, this short story wasn't very satisfying.

There's so much potential here, so much. Just wish it was a bit longer. And if they had more detail then I think this would have been scarier. There is one moment that is spine chilling when you find out what's really going on but then it ends and the ending leaves you wondering if the guy did what he was wanting to do. At the end, I was feeling meh....

Crazy intriguing

I've read so much about weird customs and traditions but, this by far is the craziest. Inspired by pure imagination. A dysfunctional society, men marrying infertile women. But to have children, they bring women in from the outside. They proceed to get these women pregnant...After that, they have no use for them. But what they do to the innocent women is insane.

A book like this is rare, and for a short story it is successful. The plot draws you in, and the empathy I had for the main characters- the good character, with a conscience, and the poor, helpless, victim- is shockingly unbelievable.

This short story was terrible. It was so short that it never really establishes a plot or characters. It's very cryptic and doesn't really answer any questions. While it does have an interesting premise, the author takes absolutely no time to flesh it out or to compel the reader to consider the plot any further. If there was a bit more detail, it would be more thought provoking. This review is more detailed and thought provoking than the story (if we can even call it that) is.
