When Aiyanna Casilieris becomes stranded in a snowed in mountain cabin, the last thing she imagined was that she'd be welcoming a wickedly sexy intruder to keep her company. But within days, she's invited him to do so much more.
First instincts are usually right.
Falling for someone on the rebound is never a good idea. But Nathan Romero has never been one to pass up a harmless and meaningless good time. Even when it turns out the sexy stranger he's stranded with is a lot more innocent than he imagined.
Even before they're rescued, he finds himself asking for more time with her once they're out of there. As their relationship back in the real world intensifies, nothing surprises Nathan anymore. Not how fast things move between them nor even their talk of moving in together.
Anything too good to be true . . . always is.
Surrounded by friends and family who are all for the relationship despite it moving at lightning speed, Nathan couldn't be surer that what he's feeling for Aiyanna is the real deal. Things between them couldn't be more perfect. Until the unspeakable happens.
Could their love survive the most brutal of betrayals, especially when there's no denying it? Or was their rapid but perfect relationship really too good to be true?

My Thoughts This was dramatic. At times I felt like it was quite over the top to be honest. There were minor parts that took away my enjoyment of the book. The beginning of the book was really enjoyable and quite sweet but towards the end I was just quite annoyed and miserable.
The Fate Series has been a romantic series all about serendipity, and finding the person you were destined to be with. For those romance readers that believe in soul mates, fate, and that there are no coincidences in life, you will love this series! Uninvited was a bit different than the other books in this series. There was more suspense, darkness, and plot twists at the end.
In this book of the Fate Series, we get Nathan Romero and Aiyanna "Anna" Casilieris' love story. Nathan is still getting over the fact that the girl he was interested in, Kelli, ended up engaged to and pregnant with his older brother, Isaiah's baby. Therefore, he decides to head to Aspen to spend the New Year away from his family, and with his buddies instead.
Anna was suppose to spend New Years in a romantic cabin with her new boyfriend Jace. However, right before things got serious between them, she found out that he had slept with his ex-girlfriend. Now, she is waiting on her best friend, Scott, to arrive and spend New Years at the cabin with her.
An unpredictable snowstorm of mega proportions lands Nathan and Anna together at the cabin. As they wait the snowstorm out, they both discover a connection with one another, that neither have ever experienced with any one else. However, Nathan makes it perfectly clear to Anna that he is not interested in a relationship. While both Nathan and Anna agree to a temporary fling until the storm clears, they both realize they want much more from one another.
However, Anna doesn't want Nathan to feel any pressure, and Nathan doesn't like the fact that Anna's best friend, is a male, and he is also one of her room mates. When the snowstorm clears and Nathan and Anna decide to take a chance on love, there will be challenges, dangers, and manipulations that neither of them could have seen coming. Will their relationship survive intact?
Uninvited got off to a slow start for me. However, once Nathan and Anna left the Cabin, the plot picked up. This story really kept me guessing. Both of Anna's roommates seemed peculiar, and I understood why Nathan was suspicious of Anna's friends. I myself wondered, are any of these roommates crazy or are they just odd? It was fun putting the pieces together and trying to figure out the plot of the story. There was a big mystery that I never saw coming, and it added an element of entertainment to Uninvited.
Together, Nathan and Anna's chemistry and physicality with each other sizzled, and continued to grow. It was obvious that there was a reason that things didn't work out between Nathan and Kelli, because the way that Nathan and Anna seamlessly connected, outshone anything that he'd every experienced with Kelli.
As per usual, one of my favorite aspects of the story was seeing all of the major and minor characters reunited. I love the Romero and Moreno families so much, and always feel like I am a part of their circle. The family continues to grow, and it's so special to me that I've got to experience every one of these characters lives from the very beginning.
My Rating:
I give, Uninvited, by Elizabeth Reyes, 4 Fateful Encounter, Serendipitous and Passionate Connection, Obsession, Crazy Plot Twist Filled Stars!!!
This was a great addition to the series! Nathan is a hot fireman and is absolutely sexy. Aiyanna is beautiful and very sweet. Their story is very excting. Of course they have some of issue's that include Kelli (must read His to Guard) Selfies and Social Media, Let's just say there's a frying pan, alcohol, a few crazies and lots of sexy time. Elizabeth had me with anxiety but so worth it. LOVED IT!
Elizabeth Reyes brought the Fate series to an end in a really fun way. Uninvited was exactly what I expected. It was extremely fun and sexy. Aiyanna and Nathan's crazy introduction was cute and made me laugh. Their relationship was sweet and, of course, Nathan brought out the Moreno jealousy. (Oh, Nathan...I love how macho, overprotective and jealous you are -- just like all of my favorite Moreno brothers men.) What I didn't expect was the surprise twist Elizabeth Reyes had in surprise for the readers. It was crazy! It certainly surprised me! I thought I knew what was going to happen, but I didn't... Readers are going to love it!
If you're a fan of the Fate series, you're truly going to enjoy Nathan's story. It's one of my favorites of the series. I had so much fun reading it!
If you're interested in Uninvited, but haven't read any of the rest of the series yet, I suggest reading at least Rage and His to Guard first. Nathan makes appearances in both of those and his story is set up in them.
**I received an electronic ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.
So I havent been able to quite pick a favorite from the Fate series (theyre all just too damn good) it always seems like I pick a favorite just for the next to come out and im torn again lol. Uninvited was sooooooo (oooooooooo) good. once I started I COULDNT put it down. the whole time I felt like a detective trying to figure out where she was going and then BAMMM! TWIST! Lol (I was glad I trusted my instincts) and then she turns around and gives us that epilogue :O lol. amazing work once again Mrs. Reyes!
~1st but ~ It read as if it should've been Making You Mine 2.0
~2nd but ~ I never connected with the main characters.
~3rd but ~ Why is a gay man constantly viewed as competition and his sexuality second guessed?
~4th but ~ The psycho friend was intelligent all the way through yet stored her dastardly deeds online? With a timeline and everything?
It didn't annoy me until the above happened. So, it did annoy me. But not as much as other books lately and previous Elizabeth Reyes books. I see that as a win.
Elizabeth Reyes has been one of my favourite New Adult Romance author ever since i finished the"50 Street" series, and before that i had read some books from the"Moreno Brothers",only the books that are about Angel and Moe Romero though, which i totally fell in love with.
I chose to read last book in "Fate" series "Univited" cuz the plot appealed to me the most, and we gotta admit, the cover to this one are sexy as hell.
Nathan Romero and Aiyanna Casilieris was a very HOT couple, and i love the way they met and how they fell in love.Reyes did well with their growing sexual tension that nearly made even ME explode while i read,as to say,Nathan´s and Aiyannas chemistry was freaking sexy as hell.
I love the first part where they are stuck in the cottage together the most, and it is after they get out of there drama starts and i really suspected who the villian was in this one..and BOOM YA,I was right!
I fell in love mostly with Nathan`s character,he was a very smitten hero and his caveman Alpha-Romero jealousy is something that made my knees week for him.OH HOW I ADORE JEALOUS HEROES.Aiyanna was a bubbly heroine i truly liked. Her honesty and confidence in his love i admired very much, since she had gotten cheated on in the past. But i wouldn`t be surprised when Nathan always showed his love-sick puppy look when he was with her.
The twist near the end surprised me,and i was highly stricken with how thriller-like all had become and i was just confused between Aiyannas two bestfriends, but in the end i had been right!
The ending was adorable, where all the couples gather together and remember how they all fell in love with their soulmates.Great Job,Reyes!
Uninvited was so many things, the book seriously gives you the feels. Its MAGICAL!
Elizabeth Reyes has a way with words, her work speaks volumes. When you least expect FATE to find you it bites you in the ass. The magic between these pages, in the words that Elizabeth Reyes wrote, are something that the reader will experience from the beginning. The reader will feel all of Nathan's and Aiyanna's emotions, feel the passion, the intensity of his stare, visualize his smirks, feel the connection. The power of love is stronger than what Nathan can comprehend, but he will know the feeling of it and he will fight to keep it. Goodness, seeing Nathan in Uninvited had me falling for him.
Aiyanna has no clue what to expect on her getaway, but what she wasn't counting on was Nathan Romero. Wow, Wow, Wow! That week in that snowed in cabin was exactly what these two needed and their story is one that everyone should experience. This book is and EXPERIENCE!!! That twist!!
Good luck putting it down, you will be hooked from the opening line.
Genius!! Elizabeth Reyes gets 10 plus stars for this gem. God, how I hate to see this series end but what a way to end this series. BRAVO MUJER THIS BOOK IS SIMPLY...PERFECTION! You have truly outdone yourself.
Uninvited by Elizabeth Reyes Fate Series Book Seven Nathan Romero. Hunky firefighter. Middle brother. Bachelor—and just fine with that status, thank you very much. When he has a chance to join some friends...and hopefully snow bunnies...on a trip to Colorado, he takes it. A snowstorm sweeps all of his plans away and leads him down an unexpected path.
Aiyanna Casilieris's plans have certainly changed from earlier in the week. Instead of a romantic getaway...she's in the not-so-romantic cabin...alone. A knock on the door and changes everything. But is it for the better? Or worse?
The final bachelor in this Romero family gets his story. And what a story it is. Poor Nathan has already been set aside by one woman...for his brother (His to Guard) and now he is run through the mill in his own story. There are some real twists and turns in this book that had me not wanting to set it down until the end. **Sexual content and language http://justjudysjumbles.blogspot.com/...
This Fate series keeps getting better and better. Nathan and Aiyanna's story was so much fun to read. I loved how they met. Who doesn't have fantasies about being snowed in with a sexy stranger? Everything that happened in the run down cabin was great, from the way she greeted him when he broke in through the window to the bear incident. So funny. I liked their connection and the easy way they were together. It may have all happened fast, but that's the way it goes some times. After they returned to the real world, it seemed to be going great. Until it all fell apart. It was pure craziness, and I just couldn't figure it all out. Although, I had some ideas. It definitely sucked me in, and I didn't put the book down until I finished it. I couldn't. Seriously. Besides Nathan and Anna, it was awesome to see the wonderful Romeros again. I have loved all of these characters, and as always, I look forward to more.
Uninvited is book 7 of the Fate Series and features Nathan Romero, brother of the male leads of the previous two books in the series. Unlike with the previous book, I had no idea to how this book would play out but I quickly become absorbed into the story.
The first third of the book is predominantly just the two main characters of the book, Nathan and Aiyanna. Unlike some books, where featuring just two main characters for an extended period can make it drag, this story didn't. I think it's a testament to how good the story is that it felt like it flowed really well and I was engaged the entire time.
The story was gripping and included many twists and turns during the second half of the book. I was convinced I had it all worked out as to what would happen and the mystery that surrounded some of the secondary characters and their actions but I didn't! Lots of surprises along the way.
~*~ Won ARC from Elizabeth, so here's my non spoiler honest review ~*~
I KNEW IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gotta say this 7th Fate book is EPIC! its got Drama, Love, Emotional Rollercoaster and of course Sex ;) ;) I've said before and will say again each book in this series just keeps getting better and better with a hint of a dark element. #AwesomeJob
Thanks to you Elizabeth I can go to work like a Zombie since I couldn't put it down till I was finished .... at 4am!! Only got 2 hours of sleep! The whole time I was reading I visualised that pic you shared for my birthday **wipes drool** #LoveLoveLove #DontWantItToEnd #RomerosRule
When Nathan’s car is stuck in a snow storm he walks to a nearby cabin that Aiyanna is renting. Over the week stuck in the snow storm their attractions for one another grow and when they get home they keep seeing each other. This book has a lot of action to keep you guessing where the storyline is going and the takes you on a roller-coaster of emotions. Loved Nathan and Aiyanna!
Uninvited is the 7th book in the Fate series. All the books can be read as standalone but I would recommend you read at least the 2 previous books, (Rage & His to Guard), before Uninvited if you want to read the series.
When Nathan, decides to go skiing in Aspen, as opposed to staying home and celebrating the holidays with his family and there significant others he ends up stranded in a snow storm in a small cabin outside of Aspen. Anna, a young woman goes away for the holidays alone to nurse her broken heart and to make a fresh start for the new year. Anna, was supposed to be their for a romantic weekend with her boyfriend, before she discovered he was cheating on her. Now, she's sitting in a small cabin with no electricity in the middle of a snow storm.
Mrs. Reyes did it again! What an amazing read! This story was just as good as the others but more! I love all the Romero's & Moreno's! I love how each story has each one go through so much but always has a happy ending! This story was no different! I was just glad Nathan finally got his happily ever after! I'm looking forward to Lila!!
I enjoyed this book in the series, the romance and drama keep my interest all the way to the end. was nice to see more of the characters from the other books thru the story and epilogue was really nice, I will like to see a book for Sabian.
I really enjoyed this roller coaster of a story. I had to set it down a few times because I couldn't take it. What a creative and awesome imagination. Can't wait for more! Hope there is more!
All I could imagine from the first chapter was Flinn Rider and Rapunzel with the frying pan. Absolutely perfect. At times my stomach was in knots and I couldn't read fast enough.
Great ending. This book had everything... Humor, sadness, and an actual plot. Truly enjoyed and loved the book. Thank you for giving is their story and doing good by the epilogue.
New Years Eve finds Nathan stuck in snow in a freezing blizzard. Spotting a light he grabs his duffle bag and heads towards the cabin. Breaking into the cabin he gets hit on the head with a skillet. He wakes up to a beautiful young girl who thinks he could be a bad guy. He convinces her he is not out to hurt her and they ready the cabin for the upcoming storms. Turns out she was stood up by the boy who was going to be her first. Wonderful, funny, believable romance ensues. Like manyof Reyes books, they run into difficult and dangerous obstacles. Loved this couple.
4.5 rounded up to 5 Forever Perfect Stars. I really enjoyed this addition to the Fate series. All of Reyes' heroes are extremely similar and many of the stories follow a similar arc, but somehow it almost always works. She has a winning formula. I liked both Nathan and Anna and thought they had good chemistry and steam. Although I figured out very early who the true villain would be, there were still some twists I wasn't expecting from that person and there was a lot of fun build up and outrage on behalf of the wronged characters. Very entertaining. I would definitely recommend this book to any Reyes fan, it doesn't disappoint.
Perfect ending to a series. I'm glad Nathan got his HEA although there were a lot of twists in there. I don't think I have been so anxious while reading a book. I love the love story between Nathan and Anna. I wish I could find my own Nathan. You def wont regret reading this book and if you haven't read the other books in the series it doesn't matter. This one truly stands alone and if anything makes you want to know about the other siblings. Elizabeth Reyes does it once again. Steals your heart.
