The country is broken. The borders have been breached. And only Nathan and his prepper compatriots have a chance to put it back together. The long-predicted Coronal Mass Event transformed the U.S. into an irradiated Stone Age, populated by gangs and victims. But Nathan has been a prepper all his life… and he’s been helping the few who are still strong and smart enough to survive. The fighting doesn’t stop. Troops from Europe and China are invading the coasts; U.N. thugs are controlling the remnants of the U.S., while the broken Congress throws out the Constitution and moves to confiscate guns and ration food. Nathan must make it back to his redoubt where his family and other preppers are waiting for his leadership … and along the way he must keep safe the children he's rescued and Jasmine, the love of his life. The world – what’s left of it – will never be the same. The Ultimate Prepper’s Adventure Classic continues!

Nathan Owens and his ragtag group of children continue their hazardous trip across the US trying desperately to get to Nathan’s Idaho redoubt. As they come across others with the same determination to survive without giving in to the control of the government they glean disturbing information regarding the state of the nation. Their only hope is that patriots will be able to destroy the oppressors and take back the country under the doctrine of the Constitution.
Watson’s third novel in the Dark Titan Journey series, Finally Home, takes Nathan and his group through some of the harsher areas of the country both geographically and politically. Evading capture or death has become their norm and keeps the group constantly stressed. As the title suggests they do make it to Nathan’s camp but not before facing some of the worst situations yet. Not everyone will come out unscathed.
Again, Watson brings out my emotions. I genuinely felt their terror. He had my heart in my throat and almost had me in tears.
I’m not sure what it is lately about books later in series. But, the proofreading is sorely lacking. There are way too many typos for this to have been published. And, while I truly loved this book and the entire series I cannot give it 5 stars because of the need of editing.
Please tell me there is more books coming in this series
I am absolutely in love with this story. You have to read it. If there are not more books in this series, I'm going to go into a deep depression. I couldn't put it down. Bravo Thomas Watson
My biggest problem with this third book is the assertion that the government knew about the CME and capitalized on it to rid themselves of people not deemed useful. Not only that task would be nearly impossible but they were somehow colluding with foreign governments - would those governments not be struggling with their own societal breakdown due to the CME? Just seemed very far-fetched to me. It did have a lot of action and I still like many of the characters (especially John). Not sure if there is a big four, but there are a lot of unanswered questions. Will Emma ever get potty trained? Will Chip ever talk? Will Frank be safe in Yellowstone? Will Amanda learn new swearwords from the Idaho group?
Worse of the series as dialogue and character development became awful!
I've enjoyed this series however reading the third book almost made me quit reading. The third book picks up again with the main character and supporting cast trying to cross a ravaged war torn America. The author's writing in detail in action is very engaging and enjoyable. However he took the time in the third book to really do character development with the main character in the sporting cast of children that he's been watching. Here's where the book fell apart through the first 120 pages were awful. He repetitively went over and over why the world is a bad place and you have to look out for bad people. Some weird stick about mind control and men being powerless was a cute gimmick. However in a warm-torn world that he built none of that remotely seemed credible to the story and weakened the characters to utter stupidity in a belief that they may actually think it. It wouldn't have forgotten bad if there were just a few mentions of the old trope however it was 120 pages of referring back to it and characters reacting to it, was just pure awful writing. The middle of the book was pretty straightforward and just traveling from a to b. The end of the book redeemed itself with good action and a good emotional conclusion, but the stick, from the beginning, was brought back and it would literally take away from enjoying the book. I understand what the author was going for and it would have been fine for a couple of pages of dialogue and be done with it. Instead the author tried to make the protagonist who is a survivalist and loner whose logical and clear-headed and knowledgeable about the world into some ridiculous idiot when it comes to situations of young people or women, and none of that makes sense because of his social ability with nurses and multiple relationships that he's had throughout the first two books in his life but the author is already told us about. It's a good series and I already bought the fourth book however if this book number three had been the very first book I would never have even tried to read more of the series.
Another fabulous book by Thomas A Watson. Witty, heart breaking, fast paced. This is the fourth time I've read this series & it doesn't get old. I highly recommend everyone to read his books they are outstanding. Thomas please write another book I'm getting withdrawal symptoms lol
This one was like blue with no helicopter then the luv of children and cod amazing!!!! The teaching of war and supplies had a softer touch than blue you have the moral of infinite love in different aspects of different series
Finally Home is the wrap up to the Dark Titan series. What a way to end a trilogy! Having followed this set from the beginning, I can say that I was not disappointed with the conclusion.

I loved this book and was hanging on every word, and finished it in one sitting. The plot was exciting, with shocking plot twists and very compelling characters, that leave you hungry for more, bring on the next one please, Chris Abernathy's narration was great.
I can’t say enough good things about this series...Nathan is a post apocalyptic Superman!. So much to learn from him while the action flows! I never want this series to end!
I absolutely loved these books. I have read all four and hope there is a book five coming soon or in the works. I have purchased all four and will enjoy rereading them in the future.
Buying all these books after a new release. Too good not to have in my library. The characterization was outstanding and the humor, oh the humor. Stunning book!
Loved the series! Read it three times. As a retired SF guy I was a little but heard we weren’t portrayed cooler but there are some douches in every organization🤪
I loved this book and all it's characters. This whole series is great. I would recommend this book & the complete series and several other books from this author to anyone. Thomas A Watson is a great author. I have read or listened to several of his books. Thomas A Watson
Excellent ending to a terrific trilogy! (although I hope there might be more)
Nathan and his 'family' continue their journey towards his home. They have all seen action and everyone has had a taste of the violence that has been unleashed in the chaos of this world. They just want to get home...
Fast-paced with plenty of survival lessons thrown in, this book was another fantastic read from Mr. Watson. Any reader is sure to share laughs with the characters, tremble with their suspense, and empathize with their losses. The whole 'Dark Titan' was a wild ride. Very well done!
Nathan is a survivalist that picks up kids on his way home. Many things I like and some I did not. The character development was very good with the kids different types of personalities.
It's a good and entertaining read certainly.
The relationships between the government and patriots is certainly interesting. Foreign troops in our homeland invited by our government is perplexing.
Mr Watson does it again! A great thrilling read. I finished this book within 48h. All the book's by this author I have read have been amazing, I read the whole series of the Blue Pague within a week. Now impatiently awaiting the 4th book of the Dark Titan Journey!!
I recommend ALL Thomas A. Watson books! If you haven't read any hurry and buy one and you will be hooked!
This is a greater story. Can't wait for the next book. I am glad Nathen got home. I hope all of the oath takers will fight not kill there own American.
So few books really engage the reader , but this whole series grabs your throat at the beginning and doesn't let go. Even after the last page, it took quite some time to come back to reality
Have now read this series at least 4 times, I still do not understand how this incredible writer does not show up on search list in Amazon. Thomas A Watson I am in total awe of your talent you create incredible roller coasters in words. Thank you
