I read this short story in Fragile Things. I read this back in April and I'm just putting up the the single review. To be honest, I don't remember a whole lot from this. I wasn't really into it, but it was very creepy.

I did read that this started out as a dream Neil Gaiman had and it haunted him and he eventually put this into a story. It's also been made into a graphic story, but I haven't see that story, just read it as a short story.

Contain 3 comic form stories, the first one I've already read in one of his short story collections with creepy illustrations, the second about a man exploring imaginary worlds which is pretty awesome, the third how a man was blackmailed into writing a story in a funny Neil Gaiman style. I'm loving the little Humble Bundle stories.

Got this as part of Neil Gaiman's 2015 rarities Humble Bundle.

I liked the first one, Feeders & Eaters (though definitely not my favourite Gaiman). The second story was just illustrations without any text/words and maybe it's because I'm still -sort of- new to comics, but I really didn't understand what was going on.. Then the third one is super short and not really one I cared for.

I have no idea what kind of star-rating to give to this though, so I’m just going to leave it without.

This was a very short comic, but Feeders & Eaters was creepy, really creepy, and despite the shortness of it I really liked it. The other two went by too quickly to leave any impressions. Comics do that to me sometimes. I read so fast that they sort of just pass me by. But my general measure of how good something is, is how long the story stay with me, and if they don't stay at all then I can't have liked them very much. The titular story was really good, though.

I enjoyed this small comics immensely. I love when Neil is a part of his stories, it makes them more familiar.

Thing is, with short and irreverent pieces like some of the pieces in this, you can really get a sense of Gaiman's humour. That makes it enjoyable if not for much else.

I got this as part of the 2016 Humble Bundle.

It contains three short comics. The major one, "Feeders & Eaters" is a horror comic, a bit simplistic but actually not badly performed and with a lot of atmosphere. It's quite difficult to find in one of its original publications so I'm happy it was republished for this occasion.
The second, "True Things" is a two page comic about Alan Moore. I think it's out of contest here but it's not bad per se.
The last is a cute one-page by Mark Buckingham about Neil Gaiman. I wouldn't mind getting an ebook edition of Neil Gaiman Guest of Honor, but I can't say as a single panel it has much effect here.
Overall, not bright but worth your time as an avid fan, three out of five.

The title story is an efficient little tale of fate and ghastly appetites, good for setting a mood as October approaches. The affectionately satirical take on the cult of Alan Moore was cute too.

3 zgodbe. Pri prvi so mi bile ušeč ilustracije. Vse zgodbe so čudne - le zadnja, kratka, ki se nanaša na sodelovanje avtorja z ilustratorjem je normalna in zbavna.

A fun read and a fun romp. Not really much else to say about it.
(Might add a star in the future when I feel I've digested it a bit more thoroughly.)

This is a fairly rare graphic novel collection of 3 of Gaiman's short stories illustrated by Mark Buckhingham and released in ebook format as part of the Neil Gaiman's Humble Bundle (2015, 2016).

Feeders and Eaters - ⭐
First published in the October 1990 issue of Revolver Horror Special with the short story collected in Fragile Things: Short Fictions and Wonders. A chance encounter Trigger warning this has some super disturbing parts in it.

True Things - 2⭐ -
Originally published in The Extraordinary Works of Alan Moore. It's only 2 pages and I'm not sure I "got" what this actually meant?

An Image to Maintain... - 3⭐ -
Originally published in Neil Gaiman Guest of Honor, a promo item given during Chicago's Comic Con in 1993. A quick 1 pager, just 12 panels, showing how an editor effectively blackmails an author who has an image to maintain.

Feeders and Eaters: This is the best type of creepy. It's not the heavy handed horror of finding human body parts or a creepy old house. You can see something like this happening to you: running into an old acquaintance who has fallen on hard times and you are almost compelled to hear his story. The mundane details and not explicit descriptions of what has happened to this man make it so much worse and your mind is left to imagine things.

The title story is Gaiman's account of a spooky late-night encounter in a cafe (which has been dramatised); the second is about Alan Moore; and the third is a one-pager by Buckingham. Perhaps a little more refective on the nature of the artist's work than sometimes.
