I won't lie and say I didn't like this couples first book better than this last one. The tension and the heat in the beginning made for a great read. This last book there is a bit more relationship drama with danger following their every step. You have more feelings in this one and some tragedy that made some of it sad. Overall, Smith made this couples series for me. He just has that dark, brooding intensity that is hard to ignore. I think this author does that kind of hero well based off Alexander (first 3 books) and Smith.

The third and final installment for Smith and Belle, Capture Me obliterated me. There were a lot of loose ties and things to be settled and I could have never asked for more from author Geneva Lee.

Everything really comes full front as Smith must come to terms with his past, his demons, and holding on to Belle—his light admist everything-- while juggling her own baggage, while the two fight for their love... their own freedom...and their own redemption.

You really feel put into a tight space in this, as it’s truly decision making time, and sometimes doing what’s right can devastate you in the end.

I loved the camaraderie, the unbidden chemistry and regard that both Smith and Belle both hold for each other, and how much they’re willing to face and sacrifice for the other. They’re essentially, like a ‘ride or die’ type of love and will walk through the fires of hell to see that their love gets a happily ever after. Or die trying. Nothing will keep them apart. Nothing.

Author Geneva Lee did not disappoint!!

The drama continues to unfold.... Who isn't working for Hammond? I mean come on... This series takes you on a wild and exciting ride that you don't want to get off. The third and final installment for Smith and Belle, Capture Me obliterated me. There were a lot of loose ties and things to be settled and I could have never asked for more from author Geneva Lee. This book kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire story... but no surprise there.

I really enjoyed Belle and Smith's trilogy. I flew through the three books today.

The second half of this book seemed anti climatic after the craziness of the first half, and I would have really liked to have known who killed Hammond. Hammond seemed to suggest he wasn't the top dog. Seriously, is the mafia involved? I don't like ending a trilogy with questions unanswered!!

Random thoughts: I can't believe Belle's mom refused to even come to her wedding! Why exactly is Smith quitting being a lawyer? Lola seemed to be running Bless more than Belle was lol. I would like a book for Lola. (Not sure why Geneva makes every couple have a trilogy. I don't think it's necessary; one book would suffice.)
Belle Stuart was a great name, tbh.
I also would have liked an epilogue where Belle gets pregnant.

Capture Me is a fantastic conclusion to Smith and Belle's story - their respective pasts must be dealt with, and the outcome of those situations as well as the guilt Smith feels for tainting Belle's life will push them both to their breaking points, which means that the solutions to their problems may wind up separating them instead of bringing them closer together when everything is said and done.

There has always been two sides to Smith Price, and it was clear early on that even though he sold himself to the devil, he still remained a man of his word. Smith has always been an honorable and protective man and even though he committed heinous crimes, he never allowed his choices to fully taint him, and when he met Belle Stuart, he refused to let the darkness consume him, finding a purpose and a reason to live in her need to be conquered and freed by him.

But as much as Smith tried to shield Belle from his world, there's a price on both their heads, which means the action in Capture Me escalates quickly. Smith understands that's there only one way to defeat his past and that's to face it head on, which he'll willingly do if it means that Belle remains safe, but there's one thing that Smith didn't think about when it came to his plan and that's that Belle would not allow him to struggle on his own...that she would fight for him as much as he fights for her, which is not something he ever thought he would have again, and it's now something he can't live without.

Geneva Lee illustrates the passion, love, and commitment that exists between Smith and Belle in every action they do and in the words they speak. There's no doubt that they would willingly die for one another because they give each other everything that they've desperately needed for so long. Capture Me is the third book following Belle and Smith, and I was desperate to see what happened in this one after the events of Covet Me. There were lots of things I wanted to see, and this one did not play out the way I had expected.

I’ll be honest and say I wasn’t as crazy about this one as I had hoped to be. I certainly enjoyed it – there were some heavy topics involved and I was hit hard by the emotion – but the action of this one happened off-page. The fact these details mostly happened off-page disappointed me a bit, as there were lots of enjoyable elements that I would have loved to see play out on page instead. Despite this, I did enjoy the way everything came together and happily devoured it in a single sitting.

All in all, Capture Me was an enjoyable conclusion to this segment of the couple’s story. It wasn’t quite everything I had hoped for, but I did enjoy it.

The last one of the storry of Belle and Smith. In this book there was not as much action as in the second. A lot more drama between them but I loved how Smith treated Belle and took all the responsibility from her so she could mourn. And dam that enging was so pretty! I lovede this trilogy! The best of my guilty pleasure books.

It’s such a comforting series and I can’t believe I’m already halfway through. I think I enjoyed Belle‘s storyline more than Clara‘s and I’m curious how that might change throughout the next books.

4 stars might seem high compared to my other ratings, but I got what I wanted - an easy and entertaining read, wholesome moments, drama and let’s be fair, smut. So I don’t care that there still lacks depth and proper character development, that’s not what I expected.

Nunja... Eigentlich wollte ich nur wissen, wie es mit Clara und Alexander und vor allem aber mit Edward (defintiv mein Liebling in diesen Büchern) weitergeht. Beides war nicht allzu sehr der Fall, da sich alles um Belle und Smith dreht. Aber das wird sich ja wohl im unerwarteten siebten Band ändern, wie ich gehört habe.

« Capture-moi » est le sixième tome de la série « Royal Saga », mais aussi celui qui clôt la trilogie centrée sur Belle et Smith.
L’histoire reprend de suite après les derniers évènements du tome cinq. Belle était menacée de mort et Smith arrive au bon moment pour sauver sa femme.. Mais pas assez tôt pour réussir à en sortir indemne.
Gravement blessé, Belle doit être forte et faire preuve de sang froid pour le sauver. Aidée d’Edward, elle va tout faire pour que Smith ne soit plus en danger.
Seulement, leur temps est compté et même s’ils ont gagné cette bataille, la guerre est loin d’être terminée. Belle va devoir trouver au plus vite un lieu où elle pourra être en sécurité, loin de Londres, même si cela veut dire qu’elle devra trouver l’asile dans des lieux qui représentent pour elle plus l’enfer que la tranquillité.

Enfin on va savoir comment leur histoire va se terminer !
Dans les deux précédents tomes, je trouvais que Geneva LEE se focalisait plus sur la relation entre Belle et Smith que sur les autres éléments de l’histoire. J’étais vraiment frustrée d’avoir si peu d’éléments sur cette intrigue sombre et dangereuse que j’attendais ce final avec impatience.

En terme d’action, je suis servie car le récit passe vraiment à la vitesse supérieur dès le début.
La course contre la montre de Belle pour sauver Smith est plutôt palpitante, surtout parce qu’elle ne sait pas sur qui vraiment compter, ni à qui se fier.
Pendant les premiers chapitres, l’histoire est palpitante et stressante. L’auteur nous tient en haleine et j’étais ravie de trouver enfin cette adrénaline qui manquait dans les deux précédents tomes.

Malgré cela, je ressors de cette lecture pas entièrement satisfaite car tous les complots qui menaçaient le couple ne sont pas entièrement résolus. On apprend que celui qu’on pensait être le grand chef ne l’est pas vraiment, que d’autres tirent les ficelles et sont encore plus dangereux. Alors même si l’histoire concernant Belle, Smith et ce méchant est définitivement clôt, j’ai trouvé que cette intrigue manquait finalement de profondeur. J’aurais apprécié que l’auteur développe plus ce côté de l’histoire, surtout qu’elle avait matière à faire.
Au final, on en ressort avec le sentiment que l’auteur a choisi la facilité pour résoudre ces problèmes.

La romance a encore une fois la part belle dans « Capture-moi », jetant de l’ombre sur le reste de l’histoire ( malheureusement ).
Cependant, Geneva LEE nous présente le couple plus fragile qu’à son habitude, ce qui est au final plutôt plaisant puisque l’on aborde des sujets qui n’étaient pas vraiment développés avant. On se penche plus particulièrement sur le passé de Belle, qui est loin d’être rose. J’ai été attendrie par son vécu et par sa fragilité qui finalement devient une force pour son couple.
Par contre, j’ai été un peu dubitative face à son comportement parfois très dur envers elle-même. Les phrases qu’elle se dit à elle sont souvent cruelles et je me suis même demandée si elle n’allait pas finir schizophrène.

La fin est quant à elle simple et facile, un peu comme le reste de l’histoire.
J’attendais certaines scènes avec beaucoup d’impatience, notamment le face à face final et autant dire qu’il n’était pas à la hauteur de mes attentes.
Les derniers chapitres sont eux tout en douceur et mettent du baume au coeur et le sourire aux lèvres pour laisser enfin en paix nos personnages.
L’auteur nous laisse quelques pistes sur d’éventuelles nouvelles histoires, nous faisant cogiter et nous demandant qu’est-ce qui pourrait bien leur arriver à leur tour.


En conclusion, « Royal Saga, tome 6 : Capture-moi » clôt la série sur Belle et Smith avec plus de douceur que ce que l’on pouvait s’y attendre. Geneva LEE nous montre le couple sous un point de vue différent : plus fragile, plus soucieux, plus humain. Cependant, il manque du développement en ce qui concerne toute la partie plus sombre de l’histoire et l’on ne ressort pas complètement satisfait des décisions que choisit de prendre l’auteur pour mettre fin à certains problèmes.
En tout cas, même si l’histoire de Belle et Smith m’a moins convaincue que celle de Claire et Alexander, je suis curieuse de lire ses prochaines histoires notamment s’il s’agit de celles d’Edward ou de Georgia.

Un livre à lire pour la conclusion, si vous avez aimé les deux précédents tomes.

Das Buch setzt direkt am 2. Teil an. Nach den Ereignissen im Hotel sind Belle und auch Smith verletzt und flüchten vor dem korrupten Hammond, der ihnen immer ein Schritt voraus zu sein scheint.
Sie suchen Schutz in Belles alten Zuhause, wo diese direkt auch mal mit ihrer Vergangenheit konfrontiert wird. Hinzu kommt, dass Belle und Smith jetzt verheiratet sind, aber wie viel kann ihre frische Ehe schon ertragen? Es gibt noch einiges, woran die beiden in ihrer Beziehung arbeiten müssen - vor allem in jeweils anderen und starke Liebe zu vertrauen.

Nachdem mich der vorherige Band so im Dunkeln zurück gelassen hat, wollte ich natürlich unbedingt wissen, wie es weiter geht. Ich hab einige eigene Theorien aufgestellt und einige Fragen sind da aufgekommen. Der 6. Band geht auch gleich mal mit einer spannenden Sequenz los und diese Spannung zieht sich in den nächsten Kapiteln auch etwas, sodass ich es sehr aufregend fand und die ganze Zeit selbst mit Smith und Belle mitgefiebert habe. Das ist Geneva Lee mal wieder mehr als gelungen. Zwar hat sie dann zum Mittelteil etwas geschwächelt, hat zum Ende hin aber zum Glück nochmal etwas von der anfänglichen Spannung zurück gebracht. Auch, dass die Entwicklung der Beziehung von Smith und Belle nicht so einfach abgetan wurde und dennoch eine große Rolle gespielt hat, hat mir gut gefallen,
Was schade war, dass mir manche Szenen des öfteren mal ziemlich schnell abgetan worden sind, was auch etwas an Belles widersprüchlichen und leicht verwirrten Charakter lag.


Charaktere

Wie gesagt, war Belle mir hier wieder etwas zu widersprüchlich und ihre Handlungen waren für mich nicht immer ganz so nachvollziehbar. Im vorherigen Band war das wieder etwas zurück gegangen, weshalb ich auch etwas milder gestimmt wurde, hier konnte ich darüber dann aber doch nicht mehr hinweg sehen, da es den Situation die Glaubwürdigkeit genommen hat. Der riesen Fan war ich von ihr sowieso nie, und ich glaube, das wird so auch nicht mehr eintreten. :D Trotzdem finde ich die Beziehung, welche sie mit Smith hat, insgesamt wirklich schön und freue mich auch für beide, dass sie ineinander die Partner fürs Leben gefunden haben.

In diesem Band hab ich wieder das Gefühl gehabt, Smith nochmals ein Stück weit besser kennen zu lernen. Er hat ja auch des öfteren die Angewohnheit, seine Dominanz zum Vorschein bringen zu lassen, kann auf der anderen Seite aber auch wirklich liebevoll sein und versucht es stets, der doch manchmal ziemlich sturen Belle recht zu machen, weil sie ihm wirklich alles bedeutet. Mit seiner Entwicklung vom ersten Band zu diesem, bin ich wirklich zufrieden.

Die Nebencharaktere wie etwa Clara, Edward, Alexander und noch vielen weiteren haben natürlich auch hier nicht gefehlt und für einiges an Abwechslung gesorgt. Bei Hammond dachte ich schon, dass seine Story etwas zu leicht abgetan wurde, jedoch hat Geneva da zum Glück noch den Bogen gezogen.

Der Schreibstil von Geneva war wie gewohnt ziemlich einfach, dennoch gut gehalten, sodass ich schnell voran kommen. Sie versteht auf jeden Fall etwas davon, einen Erotikroman die gewisse Spannung zu verleihen.


Fazit

Insgesamt war ich mit Royal Forever ziemlich zufrieden. Die Entwicklung von Band 4 bis zu diesem hat sich auf jeden Fall positiv gezeigt und es wirkte nicht mehr ganz so oberflächlich. Belles Entwicklung ist meiner Meinung insgesamt einfach noch zu schwach gewesen, sodass ich sie nicht ganz ins Herz schließen konnte, da dadurch manche Situationen etwas zu unauthentisch herüber kamen.
Es war wieder spannend, romantisch und natürlich auch erotisch - in dieser Mischung ein guter Abschluss.

Geneva Lee est douée pour faire grimper la température, mais alors on peut également voir à quel point ses cliffhangers sont intenses. On peut dire que le tome précédent se terminait sur une note d'incertitude et également de nombreuses questions. En commençant ma lecture, j'avais envie de retrouver un univers familier et c'est avec beaucoup d'attention que j'ai vécue des moments difficiles avec nos héros.

J'ai trouvé cette suite très bien menée l'intrigue n'est pas aussi présente que je m'y attendais, malgré tout, les émotions sont au rendez-vous. L'auteur aborde avec émotion un aspect plus personnel du passé de nos héros tout en conservant la gravité des tomes précédents. Le début démarre sur une note un peu plus sombre et c'est avec beaucoup de sang froid que Belle va gérer la situation. De son côté Smith va nous montrer à quel point il aime celle qui est désormais sa femme, cet amour qui va également être le moteur de ses décisions et on réalise qu'il est prêt à tous les sacrifices pour protéger sa femme.

Face au danger, ils vont faire le choix de s'éloigner de Londres pour se remettre des épreuves qu'ils ont dû affronter. L'auteur va choisir de s'intéresser à l'histoire personnelle de Belle qui jusqu’ici n'avait été que partiellement évoqué. Alors qu'ils vont garder à distance les problèmes de Smith, ce sont les démons de Belle qu'il va désormais falloir affronter et Smith est mon héros. C'est marrant comment Belle qui est une femme intelligente et même si elle a un côté soumise, elle ne se laisse pas faire. Alors que lorsqu'il est question de sa famille, elle a une capacité à se laisser marcher sur les pieds, qui m'a toujours rendu triste. Alors voir que dans ce tome, c'est un peu la revanche, moi ça me fait doucement jubiler.

Alors oui l'intrigue se résout un peu rapidement, mais en même temps on voit que l'auteure n'a pas dit son dernier mot. Le danger est toujours présent et le doute reste présent. Étrangement on ressent moins le côté monarchique, mais l'histoire est très touchante notamment parce que nos héros vont devoir affronter la réalité et qu'elle peut être très dure. On s'intéresse beaucoup plus au lien amoureux et même si les scènes de sexe restent très présentes, c'est beaucoup plus intime dans le sens premier du temps, nos héros vont devoir survivre à la tempête ensemble et malgré la souffrance, ils seront plus forts à deux.

En bref, même si cette série, n'est pas un coup de cœur c'est toujours un très bon moment de lecture. J'ai l'impression qu'une page se tourne avec Bella et Smith, certes nous les retrouverons dans le tome ultime, car ils appartiennent d'une manière ou d'une autre à l'intrigue, mais vraisemblablement cette conclusion devrait se dérouler au cœur du palais. Très curieuse de découvrir ce que ce dernier opus nous réserve.

Capture-moi est le sixième tome de Royal Saga, mais également le dernier sur Belle et Smith. Loin de faire redescendre la pression, Geneva Lee en a fait l’apothéose de ce couple qui nous réserve encore bien des surprises.

J’étais très impatiente de savoir comment allaient tourner les choses. Je ne suis pas du tout déçue par ma lecture. Cet épilogue m’a passionné par ses rebondissements et son final à la hauteur de leurs aventures.

Lorsque vous commencerez ce livre, il ne vous faudra que quelques secondes pour vous remettre dans le bain, plutôt sanglant soit dit en passant. Vous retrouverez un Smith largement diminué et une Belle au sang froid exemplaire que vous admirerez pour ses prises de décisions risquées, mais toujours dirigées par amour pour son homme. Vous vous méfierez de la terre entière, redoutant la tournure des événements surtout en ce qui concerne la sécurité de Belle. Vous aurez d’ailleurs très rapidement l’impression d’être plongé dans une ambiance chaotique où les menaces et le danger règnent en maître. Vous n’aurez besoin que quelques chapitres pour vous rendre compte que le pire reste à venir.

J’ai vraiment aimé ce dernier opus. Je l’ai trouvé attrayant, fort, violent, mais également évident. En effet, au vu de ce que l’on apprend du passé de Smith, il ne pouvait pas en être autrement. Belle et lui vont devoir se battre malgré l’ambivalence de leur vie et leur instabilité émotionnelle. Il reste encore tellement de secrets entre eux !

J’ai adoré l’atmosphère lourde qui entoure notre couple, cette tension toujours aussi palpitante, cette épée de Damoclès au-dessus de leurs têtes et surtout cette impression que chaque chapitre m’apportera un nouvel indice, un nouveau coup d’éclat. Je trouve que Geneva Lee a vraiment maîtrisé son histoire, elle a réussi à me tenir en haleine jusqu’au bout. J’en suis même arrivée à préférer cette relation à celle de leur prédécesseur.

Je n’oublie pas le lien unique qui les unit et notamment la fusion explosive de leur corps. Comment occulter cette ardeur, cette frénésie, cette flamme qui les consume en permanence. Belle et Smith s’abandonnent totalement à l’autre ce qui donne lieu à des ébats torrides. C’est d’un érotisme brûlant.

Capture-moi est donc un roman qui clôture à merveille cette relation aussi passionnelle que risquée. L’implication d’Alexander, Clara ou encore Edward apporte un plus certain à l’ensemble. J’ai hâte dorénavant de savoir ce que nous réserve le tout dernier tome impliquant tous les protagonistes de la saga. Le rendez-vous est pris pour le 17 août !

„Royal Forever“ ist der sechste Band der Royal-Saga von Geneva Lee und schließt die Geschichte von Belle und Smith ab.
Dieser knüpft unmittelbar an die Geschehnisse seines Vorgängers an.
Spannend und fesselnd ging es weiter.

Mit der abwechselnden Sichtweise von Belle und Smith findet man sich sofort mitten im Geschehen wieder.
Während zunächst Belles Sorge um Smith deutlich spürbar ist, wird auch nach und nach die Verzweiflung der vorherrschenden Situation deutlich.
Der Autorin ist es gut gelungen, die Gefühle zu übermitteln und den Leser gefangen zu nehmen.
Der Schreibstil ist leicht und angenehm, sodass man gerne mal zwischen den Seiten versinkt.

Nachdem „Royal Dream“ und „Royal Kiss“ schon auf eine Korruption rund ums royale Haus hinwiesen, in der auch Belle und Smith verstrickt sind, deutete alles auf ein spannendes Finale hin.
Die Autorin sorgte hier noch einmal für jede Menge Höhepunkte, die viel Spannung erzeugten.
Dabei folgte allerdings eher eine Katastrophe der Nächsten und waren mir so schon wieder zu viel des Guten.
Die eigentlich bedrohliche Situation, die schließlich über drei Bände aufgebaut wurde, löste sich dahingegen beinah in Luft auf.
Davon war ich zugegeben ein wenig enttäuscht und verwirrt.

Neben vielen dramatischen Momenten, gibt es auch wieder innige Momente zwischen den Hauptprotagonisten und einige Szenen im Kreis ihrer Liebsten und ein tolles Wiedersehen mit bekannten Protagonisten, wie Clara, Alexander und Edward.
Die erotischen Szenen sorgten zwar für prickelnde Schauer, rückten allerdings weitestgehend in den Hintergrund.

Zwar wies „Royal Forever“ einige langatmige und übertriebene Szenen auf, bildet aber dennoch einen guten Abschluss der Reihe.
Vor allem das Ende konnte mich dann wieder vollkommen überzeugen und ließ mich einen Moment den royalen Traum träumen.

vier tage, drei bücher, eine geschichte. ich habe diese drei wundervollen stücke innerhalb vier tagen verschlungen. ich kann euch garnicht sagen was mich so an die reihe angekettet hat oder was mir so richtig gut gefallen hat und was nicht. ich weiß es selber nicht- & das ist genau das problem an dieser rezension. es gibt nicht viel zu sagen außer: lest es und vielleicht gefällt es euch od ganz im gegenteil ihr hört direkt nach band eins auf. sowie ich es jetzt beobachtet habe (nach 6 bänden) sind die bände immer so eingestuft:
band1- erotik
band2- entwicklung der liebe und geheimnisse
band3- für immer und ewig + action
ich liebs. ich liebe smith- wie besitzergreifend er ist und ich liebe belle- wie sturköpfig und stark sie ist. und ich habe es unfassbar gefeiert wie alexander und clara und vorallem edward vorgekommen ist, da hat man sich doch sofort wie zuhause gefühlt. mehr kann ich auch nicht dazu sagen. es ist viel dark-romance und viel gefährliche lust und das alles ist auch was ganz neues für mich aber meiner meinung nach hat es geneva lee aufjedenfall hingekriegt, mit ihrem tollen schreibstil [was auch wsh der grund ist wieso ich ihre bücher immer so verschlinge], die story so gut zu verpacken und diese „heiklen themen“ so gut wiederzuspiegeln, dass ich eig so gut wie nichts auszusetzen habe.
die bücher bzw die reihe ist wrk nicht jedermanns typ also würd ich einfach vorschlagen; probiert es selber aus und bildet euch eine eigene meinung darüber 👍🏻😂

Esse livro finaliza a história da amiga da clara, belle, que havia terminado com o noivo e de smith price la vai para uma entrevista de emprego com ele e a atração entre eles é instantânea. Ela aceita o emprego, e com o desenrolar vai mostrando que ele tem um motivo oculto para a contratação dela. Eles vão se envolvendo cada vez mais e acabam junto. Ele é dominante e ela vai se descobrindo uma submissa. Ele tem negócios escusos com Hammond, que matou sua ex mulher e está tentando se desvencilhar dele. Ela acaba virando alvo dele e ele tenta afasta-la para protege-los. Só que ele não consegue ficar longe e quando ele vai atrás dela em NY quando ela vai para tentar um acordo com uma revista para sua loja bless, eles voltam a ficar juntos e acabam se casando escondidos de todos para hamond não descobrir. Quando voltam para Londres, hamond descobre e acaba a machucando (o irmão da ex mulher que queria vingança contra ele quase a estupra ). Ele a salva e matando cara. eles se escondem na casa da mãe dela por um tempo, até que ele possa se livrar da acusação. Lá ela descobr que está grávida, mas perde o bebê. A situação em Londres fica resolvida e eles voltam mas ela ainda está mal pela persa de bebê, mas ele fica ao lado dela até ela estar melhor e enxergar que ele também perdeu. No fim o livro é lindo, mostra como ele faz o casamento para ela no palácio no para dar a ela o casamento junto aos amigos que ela não teve. Tema: dominância, passado sombrio, aborto

The epic finale for Belle and Smith! After the crazy cliffhanger from the last book, I was really interested to see where Geneva took these characters as well as the secondary characters! This book was the best conclusion to this set of books where we really got all the answers, we needed that we got in both books, as well as made sure there was a happy ending for almost all of the characters. We see Hammond get what he truly deserved, but also what happened with him posed some questions for me surrounding what else he was hiding. I loved that Belle and Smith were very “ride-or-die” with each other, and they also really supported each other as well as protected and stood up for each other. This was a great series and I can’t wait to see what else and what other characters Geneva brings to the front!
