This graphic novel is the adaptation of the Superman IV movie, which was the worst of the Christopher Reeve movies. The graphic novel is better, but the flaws of the movie can't be completely glossed over.

The artwork is variable - there are a number of artists who worked on the graphic novel - the Curt Swan stuff is the best, as would be expected from one of the best Superman artists.
