About the author

Stephie McCumbee is the author of several children's books geared toward teaching young children social skills. McCumbee has taught elementary school for the last six years and is currently pursing her doctorate in education leadership and administration. Stephie McCumbee is also the author of The Garden in My Mind, a 2014 Mom's Choice Award recipient. In addition to writing children's books, McCumbee has also published several literature reviews in the area of gifted education. She lives with her family in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina.
