I’m dreaming of Nicolas. The kiss feels so real that part of me hopes it isn’t a dream at all, but then I feel a pain unlike any pain I’ve ever experienced in my life. I want to return to my dream—it has been so long since Nicolas has touched me, and I yearn for him—but I can’t.
The pain is so unbearable that I scream out for Nicolas and find he is at my side, the concern evident in his voice. I’m whisked away and it vaguely registers that the twins I’ve been carrying are about to enter the world.
With their birth, Nicolas and I are closer than ever; yet, we have so much to overcome and so much to figure out, and I’m not sure how any of it will end. I realize I love Nicolas, but I’m not sure he is capable of loving me back. His past is so troubled and his demons erupt without warning, causing me to fear I will be shipped back to Texas and left to pick up the pieces of my broken heart—alone.
Okay so I read the series in one go and I didn't realize it was in different parts
Overall, the drama was surrounding around accusations of Nicolas killing his wife by slipping drugs in her drinks. Our heroine and the surrogate to Nicolas and his late wife's children, Ana, is battling her feelings towards him. They both have a very strong attraction to each other. And the complexities of both characters keep you interested. One minute Nicolas is hot and the next he's cold as ice.
One problem I have with this series is that Nicolas clearly has anger management issues and he's quite violet even towards Ana. It's abuse at times. Strong warning to readers.
Ends with HEA. which I'm glad for. So Nicolas ends up proposing. They day of the wedding they get back the DNA tests. They tested to see if aurora was the mother for the trial. Turns out ana is actually the mom. Aurora lied about the whole process. She never gave eggs. So everything falls into place. The first degree murder trial was dropped and so was the custody one. And they got their HEA!

This is the 3rd book in the series so for that I give this 5 series stars
The author created so much drama and twists within this read that will have your head and heart twisting and turn at high speeds. The never ending words that come with prices that neither character could fathom was just twisty. However the final twist with this series was one that I for one didn't see coming but was hoping for if not one but two be theirs. If you have read the books you will know what this means if not I surely hope that you do. They are as a series amazing
When Ana agrees to be a surrogate for Aurora and Nicolas, it is because she is trying to earn money for her mothers chemo therapy. Tragedy strikes and her mother dies from a heart attack before she is able to get treatment. Around the same time Aurora dies from a drug overdose. Ana is afraid and alone and realizes the babies she is carrying is all she has left on her life and takes off. But her flight doesn't last long as Nicolas tracks her down and drags her back.
The star is being removed for the author's use of spanish that was just so out of place. You can have a latina character without have them speak sentences read like word salad, occasionally throwing spanish in there. It just frustrates me to no end. However the rest of the story was very good. Now that i am done raving, I loved the whole idea behind the story line. That characters struggled through what i image goes through the mind of a surrogate at some point. Would recommed
Carrying twins was trying but she stood by their father even though he as accused of murdering his wife. She tried to help but he felt she was making things worst. After staying in the hospital for months just to give birth there was nothing she wanted more than healthy babies. Turns out she was in for a life altering surprise.
Love the characters and the storyline. It was romantic and still sensual. Glad this was not drag out into a 10 series books like some other authors. Though it somewhat predictable but still happy with the ending. It was well written with few typos. Overall great story
This is a good read. All three parts fit together perfectly. I enjoyed the plot as well as the twists that occurred- a few surprises a long the way. It's a delightful mix of Hollywood higher society, the undertones and the resourcefulness of shrewd people. You will enjoy this but (sorry). What on earth was the last paragraph??? To me that took the slight edge off.
Oh Wow!! Double Wow :-) Just when you think you guess the ending..well don't. what a brilliant part 3. Never would have guessed. well worth the read Loved it all and miss Nico and Ana already. Brilliant story :-)
The ending was amazing!I wouldn't believe that's where the story line will end. Good job to the author. This is the first of many books I plan to read from this author!
Definitely worth your time to read. Although the word choice for some of the sexual scenes didn't quite do it for me, overall it was a really good read.
