When Samantha’s sister goes missing, all signs point to supernatural foul play. Her fellow Air witches won’t help, leaving her with one miserable choice—to beg for assistance from Dion Hebert, the odious weretiger Alpha she shot down months ago. In front of his pack. What’s a witch to do?
Dion can’t believe Samantha has the nerve to come begging after she humiliated him in front of half the supernatural Underground. He agrees to help in exchange for the one thing he’s always wanted—Samantha Avira. Naked. Wrapped around him in every delectable position he can imagine. But since the witch humiliated him publically, Dion wants the sex to be public too.
The thought of getting naked with Dion turns Samantha on, as much as she tries to deny it. The thought of getting naked with him in front of everyone leaves her part aroused and part horrified. When Dion makes good on his end of the bargain, Samantha’s deepest, darkest desires are unleashed. And the result is pure, sexy magic that can’t be tamed.

This was an amazing novella. The story was beautiful, written that just kept you reading. The spicy scenes were just enough detail that you knew what was happening.
Before I Read The Novel: Sexy cover art, unique characters judging by the description. I could like this.
In The Novel: Half way into the novel, I am barely interested in it. It seems boring as all get out. Nothing exciting has really happened. Sam's sister Kari is an idiot and seems to me, she will always be one. Dion is some sort of weretiger gang leader, who has a cock bigger than godzilla. It's so far fetched!
Side comments: (as I'm reading the novel) - Why is it that all men, even in novels are pigs and why the heck must they use the word 'tits'. It's not attractive, at all! - Yeah, Kari needs to be spanked, she behaves like a stupid child. - Paradise pussy? Did we really just GO there? wtf.
In The Novel: Yeah the novel certainly wasn't my cup of tea, there was way too many overpowering factors. Including witches, weretigers and other shifters, it was just too much for me. I can't say I'd ever read this again.
SUCKAGE!: The fact this could of been an awesome novel if the author didn't go off her rocker and add so many things it felt crowded.
Cover/Title: I love shifter books so there is no mystery why I picked up this book. The title said it all for me.
Characters: Sam is one of those strong heroines that I love to read about. Her sister is more of a spoiled brat and not as interesting. Dion is hotness personified.
Plot: Sam's sister is kidnapped and she will do ANYTHING to save her. I don't want to give away the story so I will let you read to see what she agrees to.
Overall: I love shifter and witch books so I was looking forward to this one. It was a bit of a letdown. Don't get me wrong, the book was good. However, there is very little use of magic and there is no shifting happening. Despite the fact that her sister is kidnapped, that wasn't the main focus of the book. The main focus was on Sam & Dion's relationship and a whole lot of sex. Not that sex is an issue. I can handle smut as much as the next woman but I like a bit more to the plot. Maybe if the book was longer then it wouldn't seem so centered on it. If you like smut, then this book will deliver.
Samantha turned Dion down and humiliated him in front of his pack so when she turns to him to help find her missing sister, he wants a little payback for helping her find her sister. I thought his proposal as his pay for helping her was wildly over the top, especially when she's worried about her sister and just wants a little help. But she agrees and he does find the sister who is a bit of a mess.
After that drama is over, it's all about Dion and Samantha trying not to get too attached as they spend time together. But when Samantha is put in danger, Dion will let nothing stand in his way to save her so he ends up being a nice guy.
I didn't like Dion at first but as we get to know him, we see he isn't as bad as we first thought he was, which was nice because I don't like it when the hero is a jerk.
This novel is so very good. Hilarious with a wicked sense of humor. Dion and Samantha are really made for each other only Samantha can't see it. Dion is a were tiger with connections around the city. Samantha, an air witch, needs help to find her sister fast and Dion comes to her rescue. In return Samantha owes him big time. The payment? Read and find out! The story does have a HEA.
I loved this book. I think it was well written and was a great story from the first page to the last. It has enough content with enough spice to make things interesting and never boring.
Samantha and Dion do not necessarily like each other, but Sam needs Dion's help. Throughout the whole story you see their relationship starts to flourish and become what it ended at.
I will definitely be looking to read more from Anya.
Sam is half air witch and when she comes home to find her house destroyed and her sister missing, she goes to the one person she humiliated in front of a crowd of people and has to ask him for help. Will he find her sister will their feelings get in the way, or will sexy be the only thing that gets in the middle of them.
This is a Fun, Hot read! If your looking for paranormal fun, hijinks, and hotness; then you have found it! Come enjoy the Air Witches against the Weretigers! In more ways than one!!!!
I downloaded Alpha Exposed as a free book from Amazon. A surprising solid plot with two great characters. I liked this one more than I expected. I'm not much into exhibitionism or voyeristic, but this was a fun ride.
Family, love, enemies, villains, turmoil,...sex. This book has everything needed to be an addicting read. I breezed through it when I should have been sleeping. Definitely looking up more from the author 🖤
As far as shifter books go this one is So hot you might want to wear gloves and drink ice water while you read it! I can not wait to read more by Ms. Brenton!!
This story was great and very steamy. We meet an air witch who lijes a weretiger but because they are different spieces she thinks they xant be together. Can he win her over.
An Enjoyable read with complex characters, family drama, reformed bad boys. It's a shame the story is short and the characters and action are underdeveloped, it could've been a great novel, but just a little lacking.
Samantha is half Air Witch, and so is deemed inferior by the pure-blooded witches. No one is more important to her than her rather spoiled and mostly ungrateful younger sister. She is a successful caterer.
Dion is a tiger shifter and successful businessman and restaurateur though many consider him little more than a criminal. The paranormal community respects him as an alpha, except for a little witch he cannot get out of his mind.
When her younger sister goes missing, Samantha has no one to turn to to find her. Since she and her sister are only half air witches, and her sister has been known to complain about her life, the leaders of the witch community refuse to help. Samantha is forced to ask the help of the gangster she publicly humiliated a short time before. Dion wants both Samantha and revenge for his humiliation, and Samantha wants Dion in spite of herself.
I found both Dion and Samantha to be sympathetic and likable characters. Their misunderstandings and prejudices made for some interesting twists and turns in their love story. Samantha’s younger sister is a hard character to like. She is so spoiled and self involved, the reader will wonder why Samantha wants her back. The plot is full of interesting twists and turns, and provides an interesting look into the world that the author has painted so vividly. The erotically charged love scenes are particularly well-written.

I love reviewing books that I enjoyed and I so enjoyed this book. I loved the sparks that flew between Samantha and Dion. The running theme that seemed to run throughout this book was that not everything is what it seems. I know I know, SO cliché, but it’s true.
Let me give you a very brief rundown of the two main characters that we already know:
Dion is this alpha weretiger that runs the underground in the supernatural community and is this big bad ass man that has no compassion or any kind of morals. Makes you want to dislike him immediately. I know I was one of them.
Samantha is this half witch that no one in the witch community likes due to her heritage, or lack thereof. Her sister is someone that most of the community avoids because of her attitude.
I saw all this and I thought oh no, I’m not going to like this. This sounds really boring and annoying and who cares and why am I reading this? Right?
The characters had hidden depth and tender emotions that left me breathless and loving them even more. The book was funny and there were touching moments that I didn’t think the characters were capable of and I found myself giggling out loud a few times. My favorite line in the whole book was Dion calling Samantha “The witch with the tits”. I thought that was too funny. Only a male character would think of that and Dion is VERY male. Yum!!
Sam is an Air witch who previously humiliated Dion the local Alpha weretiger, but now needs his help to rescue her little sister. Dion agrees to help Sam... For a price. What follows is a hot story full of sex, lust and exhibitionism.
This is not a lot of book for the price, and I was a bit disappointed that it was so short. I felt that these characters could have easily carried a full length novel. The action was underdeveloped and I would have enjoyed seeing Sam use her powers to kick a bit more arse. The shifters in this book did not get an opportunity to shift, and I felt a bit let down by this. I expect these omissions were due to the length of the story and a compromise to allow more character development.
Despite my criticisms (and I was being very picky), I still really enjoyed this story. The characters were strong and assertive and the chemistry between Sam and Dion was HOT! The writing is of a high quality and flowed nicely. This book is well worth reading and I will definitely read more from this writer.
This is the first book by Anya Breton that I have read. It is also the first "erotica" book I've read. I wasn't sure I wanted to write a review, since I don't know the genre. But Breton has certianly peaked my interest in what this genre has to offer.
First, I chose this book for the cover art. It just looks amazing, and it certainly go my interest enough to select it. The opening of the book is very good as well. I was instantly curious about the plot of the book.
As a frist time reader of the genre, I had suspected it would be all about the sex, with little in the way of story telling. I was surprised to find a good story inside. The main plot point, was entertaining enough and certainly a great back drop to sexy stuff.
And, that is where Breton is really good. She has an ability to create sex scenes that you can almost see.
This book is worth three to four stars. Three stars for the story, but an easy four stars for the erotic parts.
I really enjoyed this story. It had a few twists & turns in it that kept you wrapped in the story. Sam was such a feisty woman & perfectly matched to Don. 3 Thumbs up
This book is funny in how the antics of two people wind up pulling them together. There is the kidnapping scare, then there are the public acts and finally the attack that solidify their affections. This book is definitely for the mature audience.
Alpha Exposed follows Sam, an air witch, as she discovers her sister is missing and goes to the one person she'd liked never to see again. Dion is a were-tiger who runs the underworld in their city. Sam had previously snubbed him in public, so when she goes to him for help, he makes it a condition to have sex in public to restore his reputation.
I liked Sam and Dion together, and the author definitely found her calling with the romance scenes. Sadly, I think the characters by themselves were lacking. I feel like Sam was shallow, she was either having sex or angry, no other emotions. I really did not like Kari, she's eighteen, she should know better that to make some of the decisions she did.
The plot had some giant holes that I just couldn't get over. Why wouldn't the air witches help Sam?? Who were the villains?
Overall, it was a solid romance novella, but that's about it.
