The world is full of mysteries. Despite the fact that people are living in a high-tech world, with many advances in science and technology, there are still many unsolved and unexplained crimes that occur over the centuries.
It’s quite sad and truly horrible to know that there are people who have the stomach to commit these crimes. What is more frustrating is the fact that some of these crimes don’t appear to have any motive and are committed just for the fun of it. Others are killed simply because they are at the wrong place at the wrong time.
People become aware of the many gruesome crimes that occur due to being publicized in the media. Unfortunately there are still many of these crimes that are left unsolved and however sad it may be, some of those crimes may remain as cold cases forever.
People would like to think that these killers will eventually be caught and brought to justice. But that is not always the case. Some of these murderers elude justice for years even for decades and in some cases they are never caught and simply take that secret to their graves. The mind of a killer is often hard to understand and even harder to get inside of.

I did not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing this book. While I receive free books from publishers & authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review. Only an honest one.
A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. 10 very well written true crime stories (book). They were all very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. They all could also make another great true crime sequential movie, PP presentation, or better yet a mini TV series or even a documentary (True Crime; American Crime Story; Investigative Discovery). There is no doubt in my mind this is a very easy rating of 5 stars.

I chose this book because of its synopsis; I also chose it because I am interested in human behaviour, the thought processes, why people do what they, as well as true crime. Sometimes, I even find myself wishing I had become a profiler or investor so I could help capture and put violent offenders away. The ten brief stories in this book tell of some terrible crimes, murders - some still unsolved. I cannot imagine doing anything violent and ghastly against a fellow human being. It is actually frightening and sad what some humans are capable of.
Good history U even remembered some of the cases mentioned in this fine book. I will look forward to reading more of Brady Claytons writings. Thank you.
This book contains ten brief chapters of cold cases covering a wide time span. I remember the Girl Scout murders in Oklahoma, but I was not familiar with the others.
The writing is poor, as if English is not the author's native language. Otherwise, the cases are organized and told in an easy-to-read format. Despite the errors, I continue reading books by this author.
