I’ve skimmed over this book several times, using it in workshops and for bits and bobs of inspiration, but never sat down and properly read it - I’m glad I did.

The work showcased is diverse and inspiring, my favourite probably being the night bus poem. I really feel that one.

The parallel drawn between poetry and comics using Scott McCloud’s ideas is really interesting, although just an introduction to the concept. I’d be very into a book of essay or something going deeper into this topic.
