This is the chapbook of "docu-poems" which came out prior to the release of the full work in 2016: "Thumb Notes Almanac: Hitchhiking the Marcellus Shale."
These poems and nonpoems were written during the early months and years of gas well development in Susquehanna County PA, from 'thumb notes' and lines jotted down and posted on a wall in an old schoolhouse in Springville. Craig Czury hitchhiked up and down SR29, interviewing those who him them up about changes happening in rural NEPA, trying for an unbiased view of the industry and its effects on the local scene.
