Well it's the Minions, you have to be a bad or deranged person not to love them and even if that's the case you'll take them in as your tiny helpers.

Of course i adore them, and this book that actually introduces to us their initial story is great, but i have to admit something. Although i really liked it, during the reading process i felt awkward a lot and i'm not actually sure why.

It was funny, cute, with a nice and intriguing plot, but something was missing. What that may be? A lead character. The minions are adorable but they work better as awesome sidekicks rather than center-point protagonists.

Of course they had Scarlett Overkill, but she was so unlikeable and one-dimensional as a character, resulting to a monotonous storyline.
I would prefer it if she was more Gru-ish and if she had a hard time surviving her helpers rather than antagonising them.

As always i read this one with my ten year old brother, and he enjoyed it immensely even though he got a little bored at the tedious parts, so i bet it's the right choice for the younger crowd.

Per my 6 year old daughter, this book is good, but I don't like the ending, but the book as a whole was good.

MS Readathon 📚 Book 18

When I saw this one I had to get it. Being a big minion fan 💛💙

I loved watching the movies and thought we could read the book first before Phoebe can watch the movies.

Phoebe loves the minions in this book, can't wait to get her some more.

"His butt looked good. Real good"

Never have I read any litterature as incredible as this. I felt myself immersed in the spectacular craft, delving into the story and embracing the worldbuilding. I have not a single criticism to bestow upon this magnum opus. I wish my craft could be anywhere near this level of beauty. The characters were immensely in depth, with development that progressed dramatically and realistically.

In the beginning, we are introduced to the heartbreaking story of the minions, desperate to find a new master. This struggle was so emotional, and touches on real themes such as: poverty, trust and betrayal, communism, power, deception, environmentalism, AI ethics, and death.

When Bob said "King Bob!", I wept. I never thought I could feel so much emotion over a character. Every day I dreamed of being graced with the present of Kevin, Stuart or Bob. Scarlet was the world's most compelling villain and her complex motivation left me in awe. Lady Macbeth who? This is the true villainess, the master manipulator.

And when Queen Elizabeth II showed up, I clapped. It made me so broken up and sad at the realization that British people aren't real.

A true state of the art masterpiece. I felt in shock the whole time. You could say this work was sigma. Perhaps even a little skibidi.

Prepare yourself for a whirlwind of emotion and adventure as you delve into the Junior Novelization of the Minions movie! This literary masterpiece will take you on a rollercoaster ride of laughter, tears, and banana-induced chaos. From the humble beginnings of our beloved yellow misfits to their epic quest for a despicable master, every page drips with the essence of mischief and mayhem.

With prose as vibrant as the minions themselves, this novelization brings to life the zany antics and heartwarming camaraderie that have captured the hearts of audiences worldwide. Each turn of the page will leave you breathless with anticipation, as you follow the minions on their quest to find the ultimate villain to serve.

But beware, dear reader, for this journey is not for the faint of heart. With villains lurking around every corner and challenges testing the very limits of minionkind, the stakes have never been higher. Will our intrepid heroes triumph against all odds, or will they succumb to the forces of darkness?

Filled with humor, heart, and more bananas than you can shake a stick at, the Junior Novelization of the Minions movie is a tour de force of storytelling that will leave you begging for more. So grab your goggles, buckle up, and get ready for the ride of a lifetime. Minion madness awaits!

Venture forth into a world where chaos reigns supreme and mischief knows no bounds. The Junior Novelization of the Minions movie catapults you into a whirlwind of yellow-fueled frenzy, where every page crackles with the electrifying energy of adventure.

As you delve deeper into the narrative, you'll find yourself ensnared in a web of intrigue and deception, where nothing is as it seems and danger lurks around every corner. From the bustling streets of New York City to the exotic landscapes of far-flung locales, the minions will stop at nothing to fulfill their insatiable quest for the perfect master.

But amidst the laughter and the mayhem lies a poignant tale of friendship and loyalty. Through triumph and adversity, the bonds between the minions grow stronger, forging an unbreakable connection that transcends language and convention. Their journey is not just one of self-discovery, but of discovering the true meaning of family.

Yet, as the plot thickens and the stakes escalate, our plucky protagonists find themselves facing their greatest challenge yet. With adversaries closing in from all sides and the fate of the world hanging in the balance, the minions must summon every ounce of their courage and cunning to emerge victorious.

So brace yourself, dear reader, for an odyssey like no other. The Junior Novelization of the Minions movie is a literary tour de force that will sweep you off your feet and leave you breathless with wonder. Join the minions on their epic quest and prepare to be dazzled by a tale that will capture your imagination and steal your heart.

Skibidi rizz, buckle up, and hold on tight as you're about to embark on a wild ride through the Junior Novelization of the Minions movie! Get ready to skrrt through pages filled with banana-flavored chaos, where every sentence is a beat drop and every paragraph is a dance floor.

Picture this: the minions, those lovable yellow troublemakers, are on a quest to find the ultimate master, and they're not letting anything – or anyone – stand in their way. From banana peels to rocket-propelled cars, these little guys know how to make an entrance and leave a trail of laughter in their wake.

But it's not all fun and games in minion land. Oh no, there are villains lurking in the shadows, ready to rain on our yellow heroes' parade. Will they triumph over adversity, or will they be left scratching their heads (and their behinds) in defeat?

As you flip through the pages, you'll find yourself caught up in a whirlwind of slapstick comedy, heartwarming friendships, and enough banana-related mishaps to last a lifetime. It's a story that's as unpredictable as it is unforgettable, filled with twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

A perfect book for my 7 year old. He loves the Minions! There's humor, guns, and action... so what else could a guy need?

A lot of the book pretty much glorified evil (so I had to stop once and a while and put that in perspective), but by the end of the book evil got what was coming to it. And cuteness won the day.

This is a fabulous book for children who enjoyed the Despicable me movies. This is my son's first chapter book. It was pretty cut and dry and lacked a bit of depth but to get kids into reading I think movie to book editions are a great idea.

It is about an hour 1/2 on audio. Great for a family trip down to Boise. Papa Library was not a fan and was eager for it to be over. LOL 😂 Cason enjoyed it but agreed it was for a younger age group. It is a chapter book great for 1st and 2nd graders.

I love Bob the most because he is so adorable and funny. He also had a teddy bear named Tim.
I was surprised when scarlet overkill got flung super far. way over 100 miles which doesn't make sense.
I wouldn't change the ending at all. It's perfect.

First of all, I have to admit that I am a huge fan of the Minions. So when I saw that there was a junior adaption novel about the Minions, I have to admit, I was pretty much beyond excited. Plus the color photos made me even more thrilled. I was like a kid on Christmas morning when I saw the book.
I then decided to read the book. To be honest, as it went on, I got a little less excited as the book went on. I feel like the plot wasn’t really developed as well as what it could have been. Plus, it just felt so so rushed. Why could a bigger novel or longer chapter book been made?
Don’t get me wrong, this novel is great for younger kids, but if you are a big fan of the Minions like myself, then don’t bother with it. I feel like this book is too rushed—there are times when the plot could have been more developed than what it was.
I really liked Bob’s character. He is the smallest Minion. Plus, he carries around a Teddy Bear. Which makes him 20x more adorable than all of the other minions. I also liked how this novel tells the backstory of the Minions. I have always wondered where Minions come from, especially based on their language. Plus I have always wondered what they are doing when they are not with Gru and his girls. In turn, this novel does a great job in regards to character and backstory development but not so much in plot. I feel as if it was always jumping around too quickly or just jumping around too much, in general.
In conclusion, if you are a Minions fan, I recommend this book but only if you are cautious. I feel like it is too action-packed for just a few pages. I feel like in order to better understand the story in this specific case, you just got to watch the related movie instead of reading the book so the Minions and all their evil yet adorable glory can be both seen and heard.

Minions is a really good book it's about the third movie in the Despicable Me series . It's about 250 minions trying to find the right leader for them to follow but at the end they could not find anyone worthy enough for them. So most of them thought they were all going to die. And then three minions stood up and volunteered to find a leader. I'm not going to summarize the story. I would give this story a 3 out of 5 because if you read the book and watch the movie they are the same and I like to see the movie being a little different then the book.
Three characteristics that I like about this book is that the first characteristic that I found interesting in this book is the comedy. This book has great comedy and it was a really funny Book to read. The second character I found interesting about this book is that it had a lot of adventure in it. The three minions who had to find a leader traveled around the world to find a leader, for example they started their journey in Antarctica and went to New York. Last but not least the last characteristic I found interesting about this book is that they made a movie so I got to remember what I was imagining while I was reading the book and I like comparing my imagination to the real movie.

This book is a great story, the movie is also great but I think the book was a better way of telling the story. I think it is very brave of the minions to find a new master that's so many miles away. I feel that if you would read it to little kids they would like the story. The story is about minions who look for many leaders. Also they have so much courage while looking for their new leader. They take on challenges which makes the book more interested when reading it. The minions are brave to take out their own leader themselves. My opinion is this book is really great if you have really like minions because some people like more the minions then other people. If you read the book first and then see the movie it would be fun to compare it and see the difference. I really recommend it to people who love to read. I recommend it because it's a great book to read.

In my effort to stay current with 10 year olds, it is imperative to know the plot of the major summer blockbuster movie. I also am always in search of relatable content to make connections in teaching so I was quite pleased to discover that the book/movie is set in London. It actually depicts several landmarks with some degree of accuracy. It provides a good format to make comparisons between fiction and reality. I actually like some of the beginning plot points (famous historical potential villains to serve) They would make a good timeline activity! I'll be taking passages to have students practice close reading because so many of them will be interested in the story. Looking forward to creating my unit ...
