Elena’s world is turned upside down when her aunt reveals secrets regarding Elena’s life and then she finds herself mated to bears who will fight over her in this captivating paranormal romance.
The reader can’t help but get drawn into the story as Elena visits Avrey and her mates looking for answers only to be claimed by Logan who seems to be just like all the shifters she’s always heard about and then there is his brother Caleb whom she’s just been mated to which has emotional turbulence flowing from the pages as Elena isn’t ready to accept anything about shifters. The chemistry sizzles and the sex scenes are hot but this relationship is in a downward spiral as the twins fight over Elena. Strong compelling characters demand your attention while the fast paced plot captivates readers with suspense, turmoil and romance.
Not only is there lots of exciting tension between Elena and the twins what with all the fighting and all but someone’s decided that Elena just might be the ticket to getting something they’re after. The scenes are well written and capture the imagination while the intriguing events draw the reader in and refuse to let go.
I was completely enthralled with Elena’s story as she just grabbed a hold of my heart and refused to let go but wow how lucky is she to end up with two sexy bears for mates. I can’t wait to read the next Dawnclaw Alpha story, as it seems that the danger to the clan isn’t over yet.

"Surprise your a kitty shifter"
This book is amazing you will love it! The story line will grab you and sink its claws into you. The characters are fantastic.

When her and her cousins were little a they were captured and magical bracelets were put on them to stop them from shifting. Elena's cousin Avery was the first one who had her bracelet removed and found out the truth. Now Avery is mated to the Leader of the Panther Nightfall clan plus the Leader of the bear clan Dawnclaw. Elena's Aunt sends her to Avery when Elena gets to the Dawnclaw clan head Quarters she is met by Logan a Bear shifter. He is rude ,dominating, and to full of himself so why is she so attracted to him. Logan is determined to have her and make her kitty purr lol. Elena must learn to shift so she can control her panther before it controls her. So Logan's sexy twin becomes her mentor now she has two sexy Bears who want her and she wants them. The Nightfall clan and the Dawnclaw clan have joined forces. It is a good thing as they are still having trouble with the Bloodmoon clan who had held Avery hostage. You will love this spine-tingling suspenseful and steamy hot Romance!. It is a must read book and series!

Great continuation of the Dawnclaw series. The first three are dedicated to Avery, Nathaniel and Riley. They continue to make appearances in this newest book. Possession is focused on new faces. I liked Elena. She's facing a complete shift in her life. Everything is now off kilter and meeting twin brothers that both draw her and make her want to run isn't helping. Logan is rude, crass and pushy. He's also intense and wants Avery no matter how she protests or tries to push him away. Caleb is sweet and kind. Offering Elena understanding and encouragement. He too longs for Elena, she's his mate and no one is going to keep her from him not even Logan. I was impressed that Caleb saw beyond his own pain to what it was that Elena needed. When the brothers stop focusing on their anger with one another and focus on Elena things turn around. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

Things are definitely heating up in a good way!
Great storyline. I am really enjoying the intermingling between the shifter breeds. The interwoven dynamics make everything so much more than every other shifter story out there right now. I'm a little concerned how the panther pack will ever get back to full strength if they keep mating with the bears though. Hopefully, there will be even more twists and turns that will bring the panthers back to full strength and then some. I can't wait to see what happens next!!

What a smoking hot book! With sexy shifters and one stubborn young lady. I thoroughly enjoy this book! Series and Author!

I didn't enjoy this addition as much as I liked the first three. I just didn't feel the connection between the characters.

Nice, quick read
This book is made up of 4 parts - each of them good reads. One piece of advice, skip past the first section. Read the three parts that come next, then go back and read the first part. The book is set up as a story (first part) and then the cousin's story.

In Possession we are thrust back into the shifter world surrounding Clans Dawnclaw and Nightfall (bear and panthers shifter clans respectively). This series has been about Avery and her relationship with Nathaniel and Riley so far, but in this book we are introduced to some new characters. Elena has always thought she was human, and has never had a reason to think differently, when he aunt reveals some very shocking news she is sent to Clan Dawnclaw and Nightfall to meet her cousin Avery. Before she can meet Avery, Logan (bear shifter) intercepts and makes his advances known. He wants to get to know her in a very...intimate way. Elena is VERY wary of being a shifter to say the least. Logan certainly doesn't help things with the way he embodies her stereotypical beliefs. When she is FINALLY convinced to give her shifter side a shot she meets Caleb who is Logan's opposite in almost every way. When she finally shifts she is shocked beyond belief and immensely overwhelmed. To top things off there may be a traitor in their midst. Can Elena come to terms with shifter life? Will she accept tear the brothers apart or join them together? This was yet another great addition to the Dawnclaw Alphas series! It did leave on a cliffhanger, you have been warned. I love Ms. Wright's world of shifters and the way these characters have fears and uncertainties, but with enough courage and pushing they can conquer. I also loved our new dominant males we were introduced to because they were pretty much opposites, but complimented each other very well. I cannot wait to see where we are taken next!!

Possession, The fourth book in the Dawnclaw Alphas series and it's Hot Hot Hot. How would it feel if you found out you were different, special, but needed to adjust not just your way of thinking, but also your way of life? Being a shifter is not something Elena welcomed. She had lived with misconceptions about shifters all her life. So imagine having to accept such a drastic change and two mouthwatering male specimens fighting for her affections. The author, Athena Wright has again pulled the rabbit out of the hat, gifting us with a story that is every girl's fantasy. It also felt so good to meet up with Nathaniel, Riley and Avery again, albeit on the sidelines. But damn, the new kids on the block are something else. Did I say this book is Hot? Guess I did, but I can't say it enough. I was gifted an ARC of this book in return for an honest review. Might I stress how looking forward I am to the next one?

I recieved an ARC in return for an honest review, well what can i say, Athena has done it again with the continuation of the Dawn Claw Alpha Series, Possession, Eleana has been brought up as a human and that's just the way she wants to stay, but her body is telling her different, she meets Logan and Caleb, twin bear shifters who turn her world upside down, this story is not to be missed, it can be read as a standalone but i recommend reading the first three books so you get the full picture, Avery, and her mates Nathaniel and Riley make an appreance in this book, they were the focus in the first three, so it is nice to keep up with their story also, i am so looking forward to the next in the series, Well done Athena keep them coming :)

I love this series!!! Possession is the 4th book. It was so exciting! Ms. Wright is an awesome writer! Her characters are drawn out and the plot is very imaginative!! Caleb and Logan are just to die for! Elena thinks so too!!!! I loved this book! Thank you, Ms. Wright, for a very entertaining book!!! On to the next~~~

Elena has just found out she's a panther shifter after believing for 19 years she was human. After hearing all of the horrible stories about shifters, she in somewhat of a panic mode when her aunt sends her to learn about shifting. When she realizes that she has met her mate, the panic sets in and she tries to refuse the bond. Will she ever just "let go" and free her mind?

This series leaves you waiting expectantly for the next book to see what's going to happen. Not usually a favorite but the story being told is complete there's just more to come.

Normally I don't like a series to change characters after three books but this was really good and I enjoyed it immensely.
