HE SEEMS LIKE SUCH A NICE GUY ...UNTIL ITS TOO LATE
Psychotic, sociopathic, and always charming Bobby Custer begins to crawl back up society's ladder. Along the way a variety of people have his number, but Bobby has a special way of dealing with them, all of them.
He's the friendly next door neighbor, the guy at work who goes the extra mile just for you, only there's always a price to pay, and baby, you are going to pay.
The average person, upon learning of his employer’s “heart problems, his apparently estranged wife, the rebellious daughter,” thinks, “Tsk, tsk, tsk. What a shame.” Bobby merely smells opportunity.
Admittedly, part of his “boundaries issue” is legit; the feds did ask him to poke around, and the feds are the good guys … right? But the angles Bobby’s working are for the benefit of only one Bobby!
He destroys lives and careers with precision, and mops up the mess with the woman closest to hand.
The dark cloud hanging over the DASH law firm swirls into a murderous tornado, dispelling any doubt about the lying, rapacious, psycho the feds have unleashed.
Hang on to your seat as you read Corridor Man 2, maybe lock the door first because you'll be awake in the middle of the night, wondering if he can get to you . . . and he seemed like such a nice guy!

The Dirty Lowdown "The author has nailed it. The all too dark side of our legal industry, and the type of character we're all too afraid to admit exists!"
The Corridor Man series is written by Mike Faricy and was originally released under the pseudonym Nick James.
I was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, I still live there as well as in Dublin, Ireland. I've been a soldier, freelance journalist, tended bar, sold designer cakes, owned a painting and decorating company along with a number of other schemes and scams. If that doesn't offend you I also play bagpipes with the Brian Boru Irish Pipe Band. All my books stand alone, read them in whatever order you wish. They are filled with the sort of oddballs we are all curious about, but wisely, prefer to keep at a distance. None of my characters will be saving the world from terrorism, international banking conspiracies or coups to take over the government. Rather, they inhabit a world just below the surface of polite society, characters with one foot on either side of the law. The circumstances they find themselves in are usually due to bad decisions, but bad decisions lead to interesting stories. They serve not so much as an example but as a warning to us all. Thanks for taking the time, happy reading.
Another really enjoyable read where Bobby continues on his path of devastating destruction. Bobby is definitely a man of many disguises, charming to many where he is able to work his way into their lives and then manipulate for them for his own desires, and for others he is your worst nightmare. This book carries on in the same vein as the first except that the pace really increases, I found myself unable to stop reading as the tension and excitement grew. Definitely have to buy book three now to see what Bobby does next.
Better than average for Mike's writing in this series. I liked the first book of the series, a s!ight departure from the Irish Detective series, and the Devlin Haskell series. This one though was too full of revenge. The disbarred attorney plays rough, eye for eye, life for life, getting vengeance upon everyone who did him wrong, via convoluted plots to deceive, duplicitous and capricious behavior. So far leaving a trail of dead bad characters. He is just as fiendish and reprehensible as the bad guys. I no longer feel sorry for him and his supposed “bad rap” and doing time in the clinker. If just picking up a book in this series they work alone, however, the author should leave the reader more substantial clues as to why certain characters are involved or why they are doomed. It's been a few months since I read the previous book, and had to over think back to the earlier book for the reasons for his attitude or why he is working both sides-for the FBI and himself.
Bobby Custer is a very very very bad person--one you want to stay away from if you meet his like on the streets. He will use you any way he can and then--well don't expect to live! I actually had a nightmare after reading this one. This is the second in this series and yes I did read the first. Although it can be read as a stand alone you really need to read book one first.
He comes across as the nicest and most caring person in the universe--until he isn't. And no one sees it coming until it is too late!! Appearances can be really deceiving and Bobby knows how to grab opportunities when they knock.
This book is not for the faint of heart--reader beware!! Another cliff hanger--and I probably will read the 3rd book--but I think I will wait a while!!
What a sociopath character. But, Bobby characteristic is Mike Faricy creative dark side. Very impressive Godfather wannabe . Corridor Man, very different from anything I have ever read. Different. . . Is the key word.
Bobby Custer is heading for a fall, someone that bad can't keep coming out smelling of roses, and does somebody in there remind you of Tubby Gustavson ?
If you don't read the first book I don't know how easy it will be to get into the story. Fortunately I did and found I had the same uncomfortable like, for a really unlikable main character! Very well written.
This is hard to categorize. It's not really horror, although I shudder to think of Bobby gaining any real power, He's not really an antihero, just a thoroughly despicable selfish charmer. There isn't really a plot. I just have a sick sort of fascination to see what will happen next.
