This anthology contains some of Robert Mann's zaniest tales. Some were originally written for middle grades readers, but they are enjoyed by adults and children alike. "Saving the Bears" and "A Christmas Tale" have an environmental focus, although they are no less tongue-in-cheek than the author's other stories. Mann is the author of the novels The Master and Marmeladov and Where the Ice Never Melts. He has also penned literary studies, including What They Don't Teach You in School and The Song of Prince Igor.
