I really liked the books. I loved the first one, wasn't quite as sure about the second one due to the rather bizarre storyline, but really liked the third book. They are very similar to Elizabeth Peters books about Amelia Peabody and her husband Emerson, which I've always loved. They are a good substitute for Amelia and Emerson since Ms. Peters has passed away, and we will have only one more book in that series. I hope that Kathryn decides to write some more books in this series. I enjoyed the twist of how Kathlyn finds the "pot of gold," so to speak, at her sites, and how she is able to tell the story of the people who have lived before us. She is a strong female figure, who stands up for herself as well as knows when to "play the game," which is nice to see in books.

Fast pace adventure romance
Wow these three stories are great. Love the settings in hot dusty deserts to steamy jungle. They have a real mix of antagonism, love, hate and greed. Throughly enjoyed reading these books would recommend

Couldn't put it down.
I Read all 3 books in a row. I Loved the stories and characters. Wonderful creative writing. Very entertaining definitely recommend

All I can say is WOW!
Absolutely loved this series. Action packed, romantic, mystery rolled into one. Stayed awake late on work nights far too many times because I couldn't put it down

Wonderful exciting reading
Enjoyed this set of books immensely. Full of action mystery with every page. Enjoyed the characters and the story lines were very interesting. Wanted to keep reading page after page.

December 29, 2018Another one I couldn’t finish. Very predictable and some of the words written (I.e. coming out of the characters mouth) are embarrassingly cliche.
