Jackson Walker is anxious about spending a whole week in Red Creek, Kansas, with his newly discovered brothers. Will they be able to work as a team at the company they inherited from their dad? Can they even be in the same room together without getting into a dust-up?
What he has no concerns about, however, is the woman he’s fallen crazy in love with: sexy, quirky computer engineer Rori Hughes. But that changes when her family comes to town with an offer she can’t refuse. Jackson is more confused than he’s ever been in his life, including the day when he’d been just fifteen and learned his father had a wife—who was not Jackson’s mother.
Rori has major decisions to make, and she can feel Jackson backing away from her as he finds too many commitments that keep him away from town and out of her arms. His frequent nightmares concern her, but even more disturbing is the strange woman in town who has been talking with Jackson and going out of her way to avoid Rori.
As fall turns into winter, will Jackson and Rori find a way around their suspicions and insecurities, or will they find that their flash-fire romance has burned itself out?

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
If you read The Sons of Dusty Walker: Jackson, then you're gonna want to read Rori and Jackson. This fast-paced, very enjoyable read is packed with a lot of emotion, extreme attraction, want, need, heartache, hope, steamy love scenes, and then it all wraps up with a great HEA.
I loved these books and tried to read them in order, but alas, I would start one, then go to the next and sometimes were reading two at once. I didn't want to miss anything or read something that I hadn't for the book before. This is a continuance of the first book Jackson, Son's of Dusty Walker.
Jackson is a rodeo cowboy, he's traveled all over, but didn't know that his dad, whom he rarely saw, also had three other son's. When Dusty passes away, the four boys and sort of thrown together and told to get to know each other, but they do things a bit different and each take a week to learn about their fathers multi million dollar company. Jackson doesn't know anything about computers, but there happens to be a computer tech that works for the company....now if he can just get her to help him.....then the sparks fly. Rori owns an up and coming computer business. But she'd like to expand, them she meets Jackson and there is heat....... This book tells of the ups and downs in their relationship and there might even by an HEA at the end. Now, my question is....is there going to be a book about the Walker cousins????
When we left Rori and Jackson in their first book, both Rori and Jackson new that they had found the ONE. In their 2nd book, both have some internal dialog about things that makes both Rori and Jackson must confront their insecurities and suspicions that they came into the relationship with.
The doubt starts when Rori's parents come to town and gave her a present that they feel will get Rori closer to them in Kansas City. Since Rori didn't explain what she intended to do with the new store front, Jackson thinks that she is moving away.
As both parties go about their lives, each seem to be pulling away from the other. It thought it was a great story and a nice part 2 for this couple.
Find out if they can conquer their demons and have a permanent HEA.
You do need to have read the first book The Son's of Dusty Walker--Jackson first. Jackson is a rodeo Cowboy now living with Rory. That is when he is in town. With business, visiting his mom, a secret and the rodeo that is less and less. Rory is hoping to settle down the flighty cowboy but can she? This is an awesome story. It's short. Interesting, hot and steamy. If you like sex cowboys you can't go wrong with this story.
Ms. Alexander was brilliant with Jackson and Rory’s story. She gave us characters with depth and a storyline that draws you in. Real life struggles that make you laugh, live, love and um, yeah, cry. I don’t cry easily but with the fluttering of a blade of grass, I cried. This is one hot and sexy tale and best of all it is a fast and easy read. This is part 2 of the Jackson’s story and part 6 of the series. It can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend the series.
I loved this story as the last Walker brother finds his happily every after. It is uniquely written and has amazing characters with great interactions. This is a delightful series that encompasses the works of four talented authors. Fantastic read, don't miss out!
I loved this story of Jackson & Rori. Randi did an excellent job with this (as always). Jackson is not quite sure he's ready for the big commitment liking things as they are although he does have a few permanent surprises in store for Rori. It's not until they give each other some space and a visit from his mother does he start realizing how he feels.
'Rori & Jackson' (The Sons of Dusty Walker Book 6) by Randi Alexander is a great read. This is a wonderful addition to this collection. I loved getting to read more about Rori and Jackson. This story is full of passion, hot cowboys, family. Highly recommend to all fans of romance.
I just love four authors telling four brother stories. It's great idea for the story line. Alpha stubborn men and the right women who love them. u can't help but to fall in love with all four. great authors!!!
This series totally rocks. 4 authors coming together to tell 4 stories that are all linked by family. Randi, I feel in love with Jackson and Tori all over again.
