Trinket Banks is at the end of her rope. Someone is killing witches on Jagged Grove and her mother Bilda is missing. When Angelo - the sexy, annoying head of the ASS - throws her off the island to keep her away from the investigation, she does the only thing she can - enlists the help of her friends to sneak back in, solve the murders, save her mom, and stop the real killer before more witches die.
But this is more than a few simple murders. This is a war, and Trinket might be the only one powerful enough to save Jagged Grove from a madman - even if she has to get married to do it.
This is BOOK THREE in the Jagged Grove serial. These books are best read in order. Genre: Paranormal cozy mystery Length: 55,000 words
A great read. Her mother is missing and wanted for murder. She is to be banished to earth. Can she find a way to stay? Is there a war brewing and if so who is leading the enemy? Can she do anything stop the war? What will it cost her? Which male will win her heart? Will her mother be okay? Will the war be averted? Bear in mind that this a continuing storyline and none of the books are standalone. Glad that she is finally getting her fighting spirit in this one and stopped the pity me party.
This was a fun and cozy series. I got quite frustrated with some of the editing, 4 sisters / 3 sisters and whether Louise existed or not as an aunt. Trinket was well written as was Jones and Angelo. Bilda was pretty frustrating to read and came accross as a bit bipolar, but Rain and Glade were fun and in the whole I really enjoyed the series. Happy to read more if it appears!
This story kept my attention. Loved all the happenings, however, I am frustrated with how some of the characters are mentally challenged. They are idiots. I don't want to continue this series because of that. It's too frustratIng to deal with anymore.
There aren't quite as many egregious grammatical errors in the third book, which is a relief. The plot is good, the characters are good. Could use a good proofreader. You're/your, too/to, they're/their/there issues.
Witches are being killed and Trinket's mom is the main suspect but she has disappeared. It's up to Trinket to find her and deal with a who has never been in her life
Comment #1: Please find an editor for your ebook. There are so.many.type-o's. Comment #2: There is so much whining from Trinket in this book it is almost unbearable. I found myself asking why I am still reading this series?! But then I remember.... Comment #3: Jones. Jones is why I am still reading this series. I love this guy. And mad props for how many times he comes out and tells Trinket she's being a little snot, because she is. Granted, that really doesn't stop her but.... Comment #4:
I found this series entertaining, there were some funny moments. I really liked Jones and Angelo but Trinket was at times annoying and selfish, but I at the end I believe she learned what's important. I hope there's a book 4, I would like to know what happens between Trinket and Angelo and how Rachel is taking it. Also I would like to read Jones story and hopefully his happily ever after.
I loved the series but it should have been one book.. there was a lot of spelling mistakes and near the end when the marriage ceremony takes place, the paragraph where they drink doesn't make sense. Good author very poor publisher
Character is whiny and selfish. Found her boring and has no real personality. She is not likeable This series was a waste of my time. Was hoping it would get better. Did not happen.
