This is a spinoff to the MR. Dark series and this is Tabby’s story. I have been waiting for her book to come and here it is {smile}
In this book, Tabby is running MJT Consolidated Holdings and she meets the new city councilman, Patrick McCaffery who is quite handsome and has a seductive air about him.
Their story begins when they meet up at an opening of the community center and they hit it off. They start going out but Mark and Sophie are understandably concerned , especially after the incident she had with her previous boyfriend who used her. Tabby is happy , happier than she has been in a while and things are going good.
Patrick comes across as nice and respectable. But there are secrets he is hiding-especially when it comes to Tabby. He is trying to clean up his past and he goes out seeking to be like the Snowman. There are some twists and turns in this story and the ending of the story ended on a super CLIFFHANGER—what is going to happen to Patrick and will it cause him and Tabby to break up? Just after they finally got together? I really am rooting for them because they seem so good together. I cannot wait for book 2 to come out to find out what is going to happen.

Powerful story! The chemistry between the characters is amazing. Tabby's strong, smart and sexy character sets the pace for this action packed storyline. Patrick may not be the perfect boy next door, but that doesn't stop Tabby. With the backing and support of Mark and Sophie she going to make difference eliminating the criminal element while building a better community. Patrick as the newest councilman is looking to better the community during the day while fighting the gangs at night. Being dubbed the amateur by the Snowman Patrick finds himself shot and unconscious. Just when Tabby thinks she ready to get back on the horse she finds herself back in the emotional waters ready to be dragged under.
I'm looking forward to following this series. I really love the complex story and characters.

Ambition. Welcome to the world of dark billionaire romance. Not new to dark billionaire romance? Well I guarantee that you are new to vigilante billionaires. I know I certainly am, and I've read literally thousands of books, hence the reason why I became a romance book reviewer. Ambition is a very new take on a billionaire romance.
In Ambition: A Dark Billionaire Romance (Driven Book 1) by Lauren Landish we meet Tabby and Patrick. Ambition is a spill over from the Mr. Dark series but this time instead of Sophie and Mark being the leads, we get to see what happens to Sophie's best friend Tabby and her new friend Patrick...
Overall this was an interesting book with many great twists and turns. It's not over the top erotic nor is it super dry. It's just right! Enjoy.

Wow, what a great spin off to Mr Dark series.
I loved the story. I loved Tabby's strong, sexy and smart character as well as Mark and Sophie being supportive and loving towards Tabby. The twists and turns have you on an emotional roller coaster that you just can't get off of. OMG what a cliffhanger!! What will Tabby do if Patrick does or doesn't survive. Can't wait for book 2.

just finish this book fixing to start book to love in the series so far hope Tabby gets her happily ever after and I hope Patrick is OK. I can't wait to find out what all of them thinks about Patrick being the amateur

I storyline draws you in but I just couldn't get into the actual story. I also believe there could have been just a little bit more in the first book before leaving you hanging. But I did like the characters chemistry.

What a great book we follow Tabby and maybe her new love ... But things go wrong when he's shot and now Mark and Sophie and Tabby no Partick is the new vigilante.../ will Patrick find out Mark snow is the snowman

Good sequel to the Mr Dark series but you do need to read that to get the storyline to this book look forward to the next installment.

A lovely follow on after the Mr.Dark series. Great to follow the characters & watch the continuation of the story. Lovely that Tabby gets her own partner too.
