There are no vampires in Beacon Hills. Until now. “Let him go.” Derek manages to keep his voice steady, although he’s aiming for cold and detached. “I’m the one you want. He’s just a human. What can he do for you?”

A very interesting and new approach to the Sterek stories. That I've read anyway.

I just didn't like the rush of events and the fact that Stiles proved powerless to the calling of the blood. I was expecting him to be strong and resilient despite the strong pull of his thirst.

What I did like was the fact the story was told from Derek's point of view, Derek being the sub and healing at the same time Stiles was sucking his neck and Stiles was not your typical vampire, prone to the standard weaknesses. There was so much potential to this story, I'm sorry it was rushed and so quickly finished. This could easily have been turned into a novel length story with the romance slowly building to the sex scene (which was steamy!!), Stiles' abilities as a vampire and the complexities of a relationship between a vampire and a werewolf in the Beacon Hills universe.
