Dahlia spent almost all of her time building up her families' company and bringing it straight to the top.
But when her father passes, he leaves one stipulation in his will. In order to keep running the company she must get married to a man of his choosing and produce an heir within a year, to help their legacy live on.
To make matters worse, jealous family members, backstabbing board members, and a potential husband she's never met are all vying for her attention.
What she never expects is falling for the man who was only supposed to be an arrangement for the year.
Will Dahlia overcome it all and finally find love and happiness?
A complete story with no cliffhanger and guaranteed HEA ending, featuring a strong, curvy, confidant, and very alpha female heroine!
DNF... I love a marriage of convenience plot and it was only 99¢. Unfortunately, I got exactly what I paid for.
I tried to keep with it even when they had a first date that began with warm bottled water and energy bars. I stopped shortly after the dinner they spent talking about her personal lubrication. I skipped to the end (which was 83% into the book, the rest was ads for more of the same) and got a laughable confrontation complete with blond other woman antics and the "hero" speaking like Wanda from In Living Color. Who is writing these five star ARC reviews for the BWWM Crew*? Why are you shilling these terrible books? Were they good at one time and you are feeling nostalgic? It can't possibly be to keep getting them for free.
*that name makes them sound like an interracial street gang
Her Marriage Of Convenience (BWWM Romance) is a sweet and sensual interracial romance that earned a rating of four stars. I enjoyed reading this book with its twist. She is the a Billionaire who has to inter into a marriage of convenience that was arranged by her father. When the coupe met they had instant chemistry between them. They also had a lot of outside forces trying to keep them apart. They have to overcome a to be together. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading very good and sensual romance novels.
Let me start out by saying I love Ms. Jackson books. I have read several of them. However, this one I enjoyed it but did not love it as much as I did the other books. The reason why this book ended in a way I felt should've been a little bit longer . However, it was an excellent book. This a book about parents who are deceased who arrange for the daughter to marry another man to keep the family empire going.
Charles and Dahlia are told to marry in Dahlia's fathers will or she will everything. What starts off as a marriage of convenience turns into love but not everyone is happy and as family and ex lovers work to break up the couple Charles and Dahlia work to save their marriage. Good Book that I highly recommend.
