Management of Symptoms in General Practice

Rate this book
The book is divided into two sections - Major Symptoms and Minor Symptoms. The symptoms are covered systematically, with a highly structured and practical approach. While the whole gamut of causes, clinical features, and management is considered for every symptom, what makes this book stand out are the twin features of "approach to a symptom" and the algorithmic "Decision Tree" which allow one to quickly zero-in on the diagnosis. "Sample prescription" boxes guide to choose and mix the treatment to suit a particular patient's need. The minor symptoms also are discussed adequately because no symptom is minor in the eyes of a patient suffering from it. This book is sure to be a boon to any General Practitioner and indeed any clinician.
