Rate this book
Jane Meadows is an avid fan of Kandinsky. In fact, she spends a good portion of each day at work at the Guggenheim Museum, staring at her favorite Kandinsky of all – Improvisation 28. One day however, while Jane is admiring the painting for the millionth time, she runs in to a stranger who has his own love for Kandinsky. He also happens to have three of his own hanging in a private gallery attached to his penthouse home.

Jane isn’t too sure about the affluent stranger, but she finds herself becoming sucked in to the mystery of who he is. With a little help from a work colleague she soon discovers that her new friend is Charles Lincoln, the billionaire CEO of one of the largest pharmaceutical corporations in the world. This doesn’t interest Jane as much as his private art collection however.

When Charles invites Jane to view his private art gallery, she just can’t refuse, but she soon finds out that Charles sees her as more than just a fellow art enthusiast!

Charles - Hero (Billionaire) Mid-30s
Jane - Heroine - 21 year old intern

I loved the premise, but this did not work for me.

The writing was awkward. The hero is a CEO billionaire. He would NEVER want the immature heroine, Jane. The verbiage and interactions were awkward and just weird.

He invites her to see his painting with some cheese sandwiches and lemonade. Next thing you know they are having sex. This is the second time they met. It was a "come little girl and look at my paintings." creepy feel.

The more Charles teased her, the wetter she was getting, until soon Jane began to worry that she would leave a wet spot on his sofa. (Loc 376)

"I want your cock inside me!" As soon as she said the word 'cock' Charles took a sharp breath in. "Oh yeah, my cock wants to be inside you." (Loc 385) This is coming from a CEO in his mid-30s who hears the word cock from childish girl and takes a sharp intake of breath.
It was weird and awkward.

"Mmm, you are going to get a surprise if you keep doing that, young lady." (Loc 400) Just sounded creepy.

This may work for you. I am not telling you not to read it.

Interesting, ultimate book read

Several steamy story’s all in one book. Each of them different enough to absolutely keep your interest and in some cases even educate you( or at least it did me!) The first couple of stories are of much more satisfying lengths than the last few are. I don’t enjoy short stories much, but the storylines of all of them are equally good and did I mention plenty steamy sexy

Couldn't read

I don't know whose bright idea it was to print this book in blue ink but it marked it unreadable for those of us who have to wear glasses to read. I'm unable to give a review.

Short contemporary romance stories

Not my prefer genre, but we'll written. Really good listen as a read to me. Nicely polished tight prose. Many younger woman older established man, bad boys, etc.

Odd mix

The first book was good all around, but the second had so many continuity issues it was distracting. The remaining books were too cut off and should have been more developed.
