Describes the acquisition, transport, and fate of the Africans who fell victim to New England's slave trade with the West Indies in the eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries.
Excellent introduction to the "triangular trade," but in particular, the slave trade -- written for a young adult audience (I had my 11 year old read it, and it kept her interest), but informative for an adult, too. I learned a number of things reading this that I hadn't known before. Great, quick overview on the topic.
