Andre Russell a.k.a. Damianos is a detective with the San Diego Police. He is on his way out to spend his Saturday evening with his girlfriend, Annie, when a missing person’s report catches his attention. He accompanies the ladies who made the report to their homes. Across the street he makes a gruesome discovery.
Weeks pass and the bodies start piling up in septic tanks and compost bins of various neighborhoods. Who is the demented psycho that seems to get off on hurting old folks living in heritage homes? Does one of these elderly persons have a past that affected the behavior of their killer?
This is an interesting , SUSPENSE PACKED THRILLER. I am not a fan of rodents..rats particularly, and to be sure I'm not entirely certainwhen I say I would take them over the type of person involved in these HORRIFIC crimes. Serial killers have malicious mind sets that I feel , far surpass the anger and evil of most killers. Perhaps you will agree after reading this novella . I RECOMMEND.
A short story, but the middle of it may freak out some readers -its gory. But they have to tell the story like this to make it interesting for a short book. Boy the things people do and how. Mind boggling. Good there are noisy elderly people in the neighborhood.
Story moved at a good pace and descriptions were good. At the end, I thought to myself that it would have been great on The Alfred Hitchcock mystery hour.
