I’m Sawyer James, best-selling indie author. There have been so many rumors going around about my model, Caleb Allen, and I that I can’t see straight. So, instead of sitting back on my hands like I’m told I need to do, let it blow over, and kill everyone with kindness, I’m going to do what I do best, I’m going to write a book about our relationship.

Starting this process was tedious and nerve-wracking, but my amazing ladies and my fabulous husband have inspired me to take my love for writing to the next step.

This was a really quick read but I thoroughly enjoyed it and am eager to dive into the next book. This is the story about an author who hides behind her computer spending all her hours writing, on social media or at book signings. She goes to the gym and spots a guy who is the epitome of her latest character so she plucks up the courage and asks him to do a photo shoot...this is the struggle of keeping it professional. The chemistry in such a short book was palpable and these two really got under my skin, I loved them dearly. (full review to come)

Good lord Behind the Computer was absolutely AMAZING!! HOME RUN F.L. Jacob HOME RUN!!
This book was unlike any book I've read before but have been craving! Behind the Computer was a quick fun, HOT read that I didn't want to end.
Sawyer James is a best-selling indie author who just so happens to run into Caleb at the gym. As soon as she sees him she know that she HAS to have him as her cover model for her next book.
Little does Sawyer know that the chemistry with Caleb will be OFF the charts. However there is a little issue, Liam, Sawyer's long-term live in workaholic boyfriend.
Can Sawyer and Caleb deny the attraction and the jealousy when Caleb is contracted to work with other indie authors?
I will say if you're looking for a quick hot read and a story that has not been told before then Behind the Computer will be right up your alley. You will not be disappointed!

What would you do if you had to decided between the one thing that wakes up the burning passion inside you and the other you're comfortable with?
Hard. But no, with Caleb at your side, you would not miss any chance.
But life is not easy and Sawyer does not have everything easy. She found Caleb at the gym where she was training, a few looks and few approvals by her author friends, gave her the confidence to talk to him and ask him if he would like to be the model of one her covers.
He noticed her. She of course noticed him, so you would say that the rest is history and the lived happily ever after.
No, no. That would be despise this book, and I recommend you to read it to find more.
Things weren't easy with this couple. Their chemistry was there, the way Caleb inspired Sawyer with his sinful body was really good to see, and Caleb's charm and his jokes and funny comments made everything perfect. Just, that wasn't everything in the cake. She had a long boyfriend and while with Caleb she felt everything, she had many years with the other and she was comfortable, so not a good way to give up everything and follow her Prince charming.
But life works in a strange an amazing way. You would be surprised for the little surprises it gives you and you don't even notice them. So behind the computer, everything get naked, in all its human heat and glory.
The development of the relationship between these hot was a hot and a sweet ride, the kind of connection that works perfectly with the souls, mind and body, the kind that makes you find your inner passion and bring out the best of it.
I really enjoyed and loved this book. If you're looking for a short and hot story, give it Caleb and Sawyer's story a try.

Being an avid reader and sometimes buying a book simply by what’s on the cover of a book.... ahem the male model, I was so excited to read this newest release by FL Jacob. My first thought was how fun to be an author to write a story about an author and her cover model. Could make for some interesting conversations that’s for sure!
Well, I wasn’t disappointed. I really liked this book. It gave me a whole new appreciation for what goes on behind the camera/computer when putting an image on a cover. Adding to this is of course the basis for the story of an author that is very attracted to her cover model, but doesn’t and/or can’t act upon her feelings because she’s in a long-term relationship that she admits isn’t as hot as it used to be.
Enter Caleb the hottie she spots at the gym who she thinks would be great for her next book. He’s tall, dark and handsome and oh, he wants Sawyer and wants her bad! The interactions between these two definitely had some laugh out loud moments. My favorite though was when Caleb basically says Sawyer will have to beg before he’d take her to bed. Her indignation at that was comical. Of course she’s more turned on than she’s been in a long time. When our H/h finally get together, I loved their interactions and chemistry.
Another aspect of the story that I admired was when Caleb had to learn the hard way that he’s not just representing himself anymore he represents Sawyer as an author and any other author he might work for. It’s a hard lesson to learn too. How they dealt with it though gave me hope they would make it long term.
Overall this was a well written story that was a quick read, that I enjoyed thoroughly and I will definitely be reading more from this great author.

Sawyer and Caleb have a fairly unconventional beginning. Sawyer sees a fabulous physique which would look great emblazoned across the cover of her latest book. When she approaches said body, she meets its cocky owner, Caleb. He seems to do wonders for her creativity too as she watches him in action at the shoot.
Her own love life seems rather stale and comfortable in comparison to her books. She has been with Liam for a years but lately he's been distant and sometimes just fails to appear at dates. Caleb exudes passion but she isn't a cheater and tries her best to engage with Liam. But when he skips one too many dates. , she kicks him to the curb. She later finds out why and they resolve most of their differences but it was the death-knell to their relationship.
Caleb wants Sawyer from the moment he sees her but he's kept it flirty because he knew she was attached. But once she is free of Liam all bets are off!!!
I was caught up in the maelstrom that is Caleb and Sawyer from the get go! They are deliciously compatible and Caleb gets Sawyer to loosen up and she gets him to see beyond the next sexual encounter. I loved the wee sneaky peak at what happens at writers conventions -I've got to get myself to one!!!
It's a short satisfying read and I will be looking out for future works from Ms Jacob. Brilliantly emotive characters who make you laugh and cry along with them and a greatly original story.

What a fantastic new read from FL Jacob. Behind the Computer is a quick read but a read you don't want to miss.
We meet Sawyer James Indie Author who is writing her next book and who happens to be at the gym and finds the perfect cover model for her new book.
Caleb Allen a man at the right place at the right time meets Sawyer and things take off from there.
The two of them start a "Business" relationship but the chemistry you feel coming off the pages makes you know their is more to come.
One obstacle in all of this is Sawyer has a boyfriend Liam. Their relationship is starting to come to a head but can Sawyer make the right decision for herself and choose the right man.
When I came to the end of this story all I said was WOW loved it and I'm definitely waiting for more.

Being a fan of the industry I would say this book is spot on. Sawyer and Caleb were steamy but in her defense she tried but the lack was there a long time ago and the chemistry between those two were a firecracker. The funny thing is, is communication or lack there of can cause even more problems that doesn't need to be. This was a nice quick read, kudos to flipping your wig Caleb.

This is my first F.L. Jacob book and boy was it great quick read! Perfect thing I needed this mornings. It was oh, do panty-melting. Caleb has definitely made my BBF list. I do hope to get a bit more of their story.

Behind The Computer intrigued me from the beginning. I have been reading all stories that have to do with an author falling for a model or blogger or reader, so I was really excited to find this one. Once I started reading, I really could t put it down... However, it wasn't what I was looking for. I felt this story was written primarily focusing on the sexual relationship between the author and her model. I really wanted things to slow down and cover all the extra details of what I signing is really like for the author and how easy it is for fame to go to a models head.not just about how wet her panties were during it.
JL Jacob is a new author for me and I think I would appreciate some of her other work more. There was nothing with the core parts of the book. I appreciated her writing style and already have another of her stories downloaded.

Behind the Computer is a quick, but hot and steamy read. This was my first FL Jacob read and I loved everything about it!
Sawyer is an indie author who spends her days and nights writing away behind her computer. Her boyfriend Liam, spends his time working. They have a comfortable relationship, but the communication and closeness just isn’t there anymore. Sawyer spots a very hot and sexy Caleb at the gym and works up the courage to ask him to be her cover model for her next book. Caleb, having already spotted Sawyer, readily agrees. The instant chemistry between these two, along with Caleb’s relentless flirting, if off the charts smoking hot!
Will Sawyer give in to Caleb? Will she decide to stay with Liam? Don’t wait to find out! Even though this book is a very quick read, it is definitely worth it!

For most of us, the closest we will ever get to talking to an author or a cover model is from behind the computer via social media. Unless you are lucky enough to go to an author event/book signing (believe me, if you ever get the chance, do it!!)
For indie author Sawyer James, the last thing she expects when she sees the hottie at the gym is for her world to be turned upside down.
The chemistry between her and Caleb is off the charts. Seriously, you would be burnt by the spark just by being in the same room.
The bump in the road though is Sawyer's boyfriend Liam. At times I both wanted to slap the crap out of him for ignoring Sawyer, but as we learn more my heart kind of broke for him.
But Sawyer needs to do what is right for her - but can she take that step.

Behind the Computer was a quick, funny and at times even a little sad book. I absolutely loved the whole premise of the book and holy cow what an interesting idea to turn the tables just a little. F.L. Jacob made this a delightfully sexy story and the humor put the perfect cherry on top. What an original twist to real world of publishing books.
Sawyer James was a top selling Indies Author who spends much of her time “behind the computer” writing hot, sexy romance books. As she prepares for the release of a new novel to be released finding the right person for the cover is her most urgent need. Low and behold, while working out at the gym Sawyer spies the perfect guy. Gathering her courage she makes the trek over to the most gorgeous, sculpted, dimpled Adonis to inquire about modeling for her book cover.
Have your attention yet? Now enters Caleb Allen. Sawyer’s attraction to Caleb is equally returned but denied. BUT Caleb is relentless with his flirting and one liners and is hell bent of getting to Sawyer. This is part of what I think makes BTC such a fun read. Turns out that Caleb is a natural at this modeling gig. Caleb quickly starts developing a following and has lots of star struck, fangirls everywhere. Not only that, but as he and Sawyer begin work together more he really starts developing feelings for Sawyer too.
No say this attraction is one sided would be unfair. While Caleb’s life is on the upswing with the modeling and Sawyer books, Sawyer has her own dilemma. That would be her longtime boyfriend, Liam, who has increasingly been putting her on the back burner working both long and late hours. Not only that but he has stood her up on several occasions that were of importance to her. Allowing herself the freedom to explore the thoughts and dreams she has of Caleb she breaks it off with Liam.
What a difference a few hours makes…. once Sawyer decides to follow her heart! To say that the chemistry between Sawyer and Caleb and hot d*mn those two ignite, their passion is off the charts.

I enjoyed this book. From the blurb alone, I was hooked and knew I wanted to read it. So of course in the book world, there is TONS OF DRAMA. Unnecessary, ridiculous, over-the-top drama and finally an author has stepped up and wrote a fictional story about some of the drama us readers and bloggers see from the outside. Well this book right here may make you think twice before judging said drama.
This is Sawyer and Caleb's story. Sawyer is a romance author. When she sees a hot guy in the gym, she knows he has to be her newest cover model. What starts out as a purely business attraction turns into so much more when the author and cover model start to develop feelings and pure lust for each other. Sawyer is in a relationship but it is one that lacks passion and real meaning anymore.
Enter Caleb. He is the model Sawyer chose and the man who takes up all of her thoughts but the feelings are NOT one sided. Caleb is drawn to Sawyer and while he respects she is in a relationship, he wants more from her. Ensue the gossip and drama, these two will have to make touch choices and serious decisions to make it world. Can these two make it in the real world or is it too much?
I liked these two together. I could relate to Sawyer easily and I was rooting for her. I also liked Caleb but it took some time because he seemed so childish for a while. I admire Sawyer for being bold and approaching him because we all love looking at hard bodies and pretty man faces from time to time. This book was quite unique and I look forward to more from the author in the near future.

Ensue the gossip and drama, these two will have to make touch choices and serious decisions to make it world. Can these two make it in the real world or is it too much?
I liked these two together. I could relate to Sawyer easily and I was rooting for her. I also liked Caleb but it took some time because he seemed so childish for a while. I admire Sawyer for being bold and approaching him because we all love looking at hard bodies and pretty man faces from time to time. This book was quite unique and I look forward to more from the author in the near future.

This is the story of Sawyer James, author and her new cover model Caleb Allen. Sawyer discovers Caleb at the gym and recognizes his cover appeal immediately. Caleb takes Sawyer’s offer and is an instant success especially at a book signing that Sawyer invites him to attend. Caleb like spending time with Sawyer and wants a relationship but Sawyer is already in a relationship with Zach.
This is a fun read with an interesting plot and characters. Caleb is my favorite character. He is often inappropriate with his actions and words. He is a female magnet and player but he shows potential for a long term relationship. He is funny and the character sets up some comedic exchanges with Sawyer.
There are some things don’t really click for me in Zach and Sawyer’s relationship and the reason for the rating. I don’t understand Zach’s actions at all even with the explanation he gives near the end. It is obvious these two are moving apart but I don’t understand the lack of communication even if it is only a few words. How can anyone expect their significant other to know they are important when they brush one another off so easily?
This is a very short standalone read that is fast paced and attention grabbing. The story is told from Sawyer’s point of view so there isn’t any additional insight from the other characters. It is a good book for a lazy afternoon. There is a preview of the next book at the end of Zach’s story. It will be interesting if he explains how he can profess his love but stand by and watch his relationship fall apart.

Behind the Computer is an amazing read! FL is constantly outdoing herself and every book gets better and better. This book grabbed my attention from the beginning and never let it go. I devoured this book in one sitting. I loved Behind the Computer and it’s unique story line.
Sawyer is a best selling indie author. She sees Caleb at the gym and approaches him about being on her cover. The chemistry between Caleb and Sawyer is off the charts. There’s just one little problem...Liam, Sawyer’s boyfriend. I will say that I was team Caleb. Liam was a bit of a workaholic and not the most attentive to Sawyer. So who will Sawyer end up with?
The characters are so well written and engaging. I loved Sawyer; she was strong and independent. I was a little surprised that she was settling (or so it seemed) for the life and relationship she had with Liam. Liam was a bit hard to get a read on. He was always working and didn’t seem to support Sawyer (or so it seemed). This set the stage for me to be completely team Caleb. Caleb was absolutely perfect. He was handsome, talented, sweet, caring and always there when Sawyer needed him.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a romance story with a modern twist. The ending was perfect and tied up all the loose ends but it did leave me feeling a little guilty for judging Liam so harshly. I adored this book and I’m so hoping that we get Liam’s story next.

The story of Love gone bad with Liam and Sawyer neither one wanting to admit the spark was just not there anymore. Sawyer was writing her next novel and noticed Caleb at the gym one day. Out of her comfort zone she approached him asking if he had ever done any modeling. He had never modeled but was interested in giving it a shot.
Things worked out well for Sawyers book cover and Caleb was a big ole flirt. I really enjoyed getting to know him he made me smile and laugh. There was an attraction there from day one but Sawyer was with Liam and she could not go there. That is what she kept telling herself. Liam worked long hours always cancelling when they had plans and the final straw was at book signing after party where once again he could not make it. So what happens with Sawyer and Caleb? Do they finally give into the attraction they have for one another? He’s a model now the women flaunt over him but it that the life he wants? His career seems to be taking off as a cover model he is approached by another author to do a shoot but things are not what they seem. Rumors fly but are they truth or lies? Find out if Sawyer and Caleb can make it all work.
I wasn’t sure in the beginning about this book but I have to say I really enjoyed it. It was a fun read for sure.
I was gifted this book for an honest review. I give it 4.5 stars.

We start off this book with an author at a photoshoot, sitting behind a computer, watching proofs of a model she found come up on the screen as the photographer takes the photos. What reaction does the author have in regards to watching these images come up? When the shoot is done, why does the author not notice that they are finished? What is she doing? When the model, Caleb follows her after the shoot, what happens? Liam is her boyfriend of over a year. He works late, cancels on dates with her all the time. What is he thinking and feeling? What is Sawyer thinking and feeling? I know how I would feel if my boyfriend seemed more interested in work than being home with me or going out with me. I can imagine the pain and loneliness she is feeling. Caleb tries to tell her certain things from the first time he works for/with her. What things does he tell her? Is he right or wrong about those things? When Liam tells Sawyer he will come to an after party from a book signing, and he doesn't show up yet again, or contact her until over 30 minutes after he was supposed to be there, what does Sawyer do? Who finds her? What happens? You're going to have to read and find out. It was a fun read.

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.
In this book we meet Sawyer and Caleb. One day at the gym Sawyer happens to see this man that she thinks will be a perfect book cover model. The day of the shoot Sawyer feels the words just flowing from her from just a short time of watching his shoot. Sawyer may write about it on paper but her love life isn't all that exciting. She has been with Liam for a number of years and feels like she is just phoning it in most times. Caleb on the other hand is offering her excitement and the possibility of passion unlike anything she has ever know. But should she through everything she knows away for a guy she just met.
Caleb knows from the moment he sees Sawyer in the gym he wants her and will do anything to get to know her better. So when she asks him to be her book model he uses this as his first opportunity to get closer to her. When she tells him she has a boyfriend he understands but is sure he is better for her. Can he get her to see that what he is offering is worth the risk?
This book is amazing it will have you hooked from the first word. There will be some spots in this book that you will recognize as incidents that might have happened with actual authors. This book is on the shorter side but it is oh so amazing you will not be disappointed. I would highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone.

Drama is everywhere! This is the real story about an author and her model cover.
Sawyer sees Caleb at the gym and decides to approach him with a deal: to be the model of her next book cover. He accepts and they start their professional relationship.
Sawyer is not happy with her life at home, she feels the lack of love from her boyfriend and with the moves Caleb is making on her she feels confused. Liam, her boyfriend is spending too much time at work, not giving her the attention they both need and when he breaks a promise she decides that it's over!
The Blurb interested me and the story is nice, short but nice. I couldn't relate the title of the book with the story itself tho. I hope we will get more of these characters, as I feel there's more about them, but since the #2 book of the series is about Liam I'm not so sure.
I wonder what's up with authors finishing their books at 64% of the file and dump there 36% of all their other books... if you intended to write a short story just make it like it is, so the reader gets what's expected. I really don't like the word "deceived" but that's somehow how I've been feeling lately...

Ok, so Sawyer is an author and Caleb is her book model (yeah I now you can read the blurb to find that out but oh well). Anyway, so Sawyer has a boyfriend, Liam, but Caleb has a crush on Sawyer and if Sawyer is being honest with herself, she has a crush on him too.
Sayers' relationship with Liam is only comfortable, not passionate or romantic and they barely spend any time together so when Liam stands her up yet again, she decides enough is enough and calls it quits.
Caleb picks up the pieces and mends her broken heart and this is the start of something beautiful. Although what really surprised me was that when Sawyer starts having doubts about Caleb she runs to Liam but Liam calls Caleb and helps these two find their way again.
It was a great book with a beautiful story that really touched my heart.

This book will featured how one relationship ends and another one begins. The stages of emotions are so palpable you will forget you are reading a fictional book, that's how good this book is.
Sawyer and Caleb will take you to their journey, how their love story started. Not only is so emotional their chemistry and sexual vibes are so strong they will radiate from your reading device.
I have nothing but praises for this book, the level of passion, love, admiration between the characters makes this story exceptional. I for one can't wait to continue with this series, I know it will keep me wanting more.

Behind the computer is about a author and a cover model ( I know right :) who wouldn't want to read this)
Its a really great story idea, totally original and like nothing I've read before..
I really enjoyed B.T.C, the story line and plot was awesome. I loved the characters, I loved everything about it..
My only problem with it was that I wished it was longer. in books I love a good build up, I love the chase, the building of sexual chemistry between characters..
while in B.T.C it happens all a little quick for me,, I'm all for insta-love but I would of loved to see more or a chemistry built up between Sawyer and Caleb.
But that being said, I still really enjoyed B.T.C and OH GOSH Caleb is sexy as hell ...
The plot was one of the best I've read in a looooong time

I have to say, this book made me laugh as well as had the scorching moments. It was a quirky fast read that I really enjoyed! The banter between Sawyer and Caleb was priceless. She has this shy persona and Caleb is all sex on a stick and makes her see things in a new perspective!
This read was quick yet worth it to me at least. It had passion, relationship issues, as well as laugh worthy moments! I love how Jacob intertwines signings, photoshoots and everything an author does! It opens your eyes to how crazy things can be for an indie author.
So if you are looking for a fun, quirky, sexy read.. snag this one up!

Having spotted Caleb in a gym and asking him to be her cover model, Sawyer soon realizes that there may be more to them then just colleagues.
The story is a hot one; Caleb is swoon worthy and takes no prisoner in getting what he wants. Sawyer is in a relationship and is so busy that a being with Caleb isn’t an option.
This was such a jam packed quirky book. Reading from an author’s POV was intriguing, having been to signings and seen it from the other side, it’s like you’re getting a sneaky peck on a reality show and we all LOVE a cover model ;)
Would highly recommend this book, fab for an evening in with a bottle of wine!

I'm not sure what to think about this book. I was asked to review this book but the book itself right from the title to the storyline seems to be a rip off of another book that was published a few months before this book was released. I do not think it was original at all and therefore I can't leave any good remarks about it. What happened to originality? I don't know if this author has any idea about the other book but because the title and storyline is almost exact I have to assume that she must.
